I would not recommend this tour. There was nothing remarkable about the blow holes, the town of Kiama, or the tree top walk and the van was very dirty. There are more interesting tour options - like the Blue Mountains tour through Runaway Tours Sydney.

Thank you Anja for your feedback. I am very sorry to hear that you didn't appreciate the beautiful South Coast and Southern Highlands. I usually get fantastic comments about this tour, with its contrasting coastal and hinterland gorgeous scenery. The Blow hole does really depend on the weather conditions, and unfortunately it must not have been favourable on the day you visited. However, the second blowhole near Kiama (The Little Blowhole) is almost always spectacular if the big one is not. The Treetop walk experience is a beautiful way to see the tall forests and also all the way to the coast, looking over the lush farm land from the Southern Highlands viewpoint. But once again it depends on the conditions, as to how good the view will be. I am so sorry for the day not being to your likings. But, I do hope you had a good visit in Australia overall :) Mike

It’s a long day with beautiful scenery. We did just about everything listed in the description. We were very lucky to have gorgeous weather. Mike our tour guide was extremely friendly and well prepared. We had some great conversations about the areas we saw, and he took us to a great place for lunch. The vehicle was well maintained, and comfortable.

Long Southern Coast tour day

James was our driver/guide for a long day of touring. We did stop at all the sites listed in the tour description. But we didn’t feel we learned as much as we expected or hoped. And we drove all the way to Illawarra only to discover that it was closed that day. But, to be fair, we did see the Southern coast, which was the objective of the tour.

Spectacular surf and turf. Drive down beautiful ocean landscapes and blow holes and sea side villages. Return beautiful countryside. Drive through Macquarie National Park very special experience.

Nice sites and scenery. Courteous, but poor tour guide. 10 hours of ‘tour’ with 10 minutes of words from uninformed ‘guide’. Better to hire a car and explore on your own.

A wonderfully comprehensive tour of the region with ample time for exploring and taking in the sights. My guide James was knowledgeable and personable. It was a great day, concluding with a drive through some of the neighborhoods south of Sydney.
