Best Aussie Excursion

We have been on dozens of excursions in the last few years, and this is by far the best! The owner and guide (Matt) has lived in this area his whole life, is a recognized professional photographer, wildlife and plant expert. Everywhere he took us he knew the locals, and we saw areas which are unknown to most and not over run by tourists. This is truly the way to see Australia and its unique wildlife, plants and culture.

Thank you both so much for your incredibly kind words. It really means a lot, especially coming from seasoned travellers who’ve experienced so many excursions around the world. What a day that was. I’ll never forget the local surfer kids, (we call them grommets), putting on a proper show for us, fishing off the rocks and diving themselves off the rockshelf into the waves like they owned the ocean. Moments like these are completely unscripted and give you a real glimpse into everyday Australian life. It was a great day for me too, getting to spend that time with you both, sharing the places, wildlife, and stories that have shaped my life here.
