It was a beautiful view but the tour operator texted us at two A.M. the night before to change the time. We were originally supposed to meet at 1030 A.M. as the ticket state. We got a text in the middle of the night stating that instead we were starting at 9:30 am. Very very disappointed. In this last minute Poor communication and it’s a good thing that we woke up early instead of sleeping it until our alarm went off or we would’ve missed the tour and then I would have been very angry and demanding money back.

Hard to hear the guide in the vehicle due to traffic and trucks. On a positive side, our guide was very informative and took his time answering guest questions.

Well organized tour by Godfrey Tours. Godfrey didn’t have enough of his own vehicles so used a taxi company who’s vehicle needed some work and the PA System didn’t work!

The driver was very knowledgeable and the locations we went to gave us a great view of the island. The hosts picked us up at our resort which was great and convenient. The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that it was described as a 2.5 hour tour and it lasted for 4 hours! We hadn’t planned to spend the better part of a lovely day driving around.

Hard to hear driver/guide due to traffic nice but otherwise a good tour. Drinks and chips were provided which was a good surprise. Definitely worth the money!

The tour was OKAY. The tour quide was 20 minutes late. He had a lot of issues trying to figure out who was to be on the tour. The tour turned out to be more of a transportation for people wanting to shop or go to the beach. It was confusing for everyone. We had 10 minutes to shop downtown and picked up more people at that location. We proceeded to the top of St Thomas. The guide took us thru the store to get to the overlook. We had some time to shop or get a drink. The tour guide offered us water, soda and chips. A nice surprise since we had been on the bus for over 2 1/2 hours. We then proceeded to the beach for those going to the beach Several people opted not to stay at the beach which I think was due to the confusion the tour guide had if they would even get a ride back to the ship. Driver seemed to point out a lot of churches but not really any sights except for the fort which we were given an opportunity to see but for only 5 minutes. The driver didn't drop us off at the ship but at the shopping area close by. He needed to back downtown to drop off more people. It was 4 1/2 hour bus tour instead of 2 1/2.

The driver and his superior seemed to be unorganized. People were put on with us that were on a 6-hour tour and we were on a 2-1/2 hour tour. We were supposed to have an hour's shopping experience but had 10 minutes. then we sat there quite a while they tried to figure out who were on our tour bus. However, the driver was a good driver and knew his island.

Our communication on meeting our guide was a little confusing at first. Our driver was very friendly and polite, but we had difficulty hearing him
We saw everything mentioned in the description but afterwards, we learned that an open air transportation is not for us. A lot of street noise made it difficult for us to hear our driver

This is supposed to be a Godfrey travel and trip should be on their own Godfrey tour bus, but instead their tour guide just called another third party (name was Love Cab) tour bus/truck. Tour guide told our driver what we all had purchased, not all passenger had the same itinerary, some had 2.5 hour tour some had 4.5 hour tour, driver nodded and we took off. Only destination that was according to the described locations is the high lookout point, rest of the stops were all over the place, some of the other travelers requested to be dropped off at their hotel which was on the other side of island, so our 2.5 hour trip turned into a 4-5 hour trip due to driver just going wherever everyone else told him to go and drop them off. Some of the stops like shopping and beach we never stopped there because once again we were on the other side of island dropping off passengers, even though everyone was supposed to be picked up and dropped off at the same location. Oh and guide...? Don't even bother with guide, our driver pointed out 2-3 attractions at most on the way and it was hardly understandable due to his accent. This tour is NOT what it says in the description, its whatever you want it to be if you have a strong voice and can convince the driver to go to the places you want or need.

Guide was late then had to go to atm to pay port fee. Then drove around to pick up 2 more people. Used them 20 years ago at the last minute and thought it was great.

We have been on a lot of Viator tours and have never had a problem before. To start the bus showed up 10 minutes late and then went to a flea market (that was not on the schedule) to shop for 45 minutes. We left there left 20 minutes late and on a different bus with different driver. The speaker system on the bus was so bad that you could not understand anything the driver said. We stopped at the top of the island but again left 20 minutes late after another 25 minutes of shopping. We stopped at Drakes seat but the driver spent 10 minutes going thru the list of passengers (which should have done before we ever started). Found out 3 of the passengers were supposed to be on the 4 hour beach tour not our island tour. He pulled into a scenic overlook and hit a parked car. We never saw Bluebeards castle. We arrived back at the cruise dock 2 hours late on a 2 1/2 hour tour. We have asked for a refund.

Our driver was very informative and took us to places where we could get the very best views of the island. We saw the historic buildings in town, then went to the mountain top to see the view from the top. There is a huge gift shop with a bar there plus a great viewing platform. Our driver (sorry, I forgot his name) provided us with chips and water or soft drinks while we were touring.

This was not well organized, and the 2 1/2-hour sightseeing ended up being 4 1/2 hours, with most of the time waiting for another bus or shopping, which we did not want. If we wanted to go shopping, we would have signed up for another tour that included shopping. After being picked up, we drove to the parking lot of an outdoor shopping market and then waited for almost an hour waiting for a second bus to pick us up. The stops described in the write-up did not sound like the places we ended up. The driver did talk, but we could not hear it. Some of the people on our bus said they were to be taken to the beach for swimming, but since it was late in the day already, they had to be back at their ship that had a 3 pm return time and they wouldn't have made it. Overall, this was a horrid tour and we should have our fees refunded. I have taken Viators before and have always been satisfied. This is the first time that it was not good at all.

Our 2 1/2 tour took 4 hours. If you plan this trip, do not plan anything else in the afternoon. We had other plans and we were in a huge time crunch to get back when the 2 1/2 turned into four.

Great 2 1/2 hr trip around St Thomas. Beautiful view of the islands surrounding from Mountain Top! Godfrey gave us history and other information about the Island.

This was a great tour of the island. The only bad thing was we were picked up at our hotel and then brought to the cruise dock. We waited a long time for some that did not show up. The 2 1/2 hour tour ended up taking 4 hours. Plan extra time if you are booking this tour.

Open air bus so it was very windy and hot. The roads were very bumpy which made my back sore, but that was just me. Also very crowded in the seats. You couldn’t sit very comfortable

It’s not really a sightseeing tour in that not many sights are seen.
Tour booked for 11am but we weren’t picked up till 11:30 and transferred into Charlotte Amelie, then transferred to another vehicle with other tourists from a range of different island locations. Tour then started just after noon.
Open air vehicle provided natural air con, but combo of roads and virtually no suspension made the tour feel like a deep tissue massage. From 2pm it was clear the driver had run out of things for us to see so started to drop guests off at their starting points which were situated at considerable distances apart.
Superficially the tour lasted for 3 1/2 hours, in reality the tour was 1 1/2 hours with 2 hours of dropping other guests off at their starting points. You got to see a great deal of St Thomas’s road network but not much else.
