The captains were fantastic. Very attentive and got to know us. Clearly explained each step of our adventure. They said their goal was to give us the best day of our vacation and they succeeded. They were very knowledgeable and the scenery was stunning. Seriously some of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen. If you are considering it, just do it. You won’t regret it.

Nice boat ride . Great captain and first mate.
Both knew lots about the area. Both were very courteous and kind. Lots of beverages . Most places on jost van dyke were closed, but it was still a lot of fun
It's a lot of fun. Great bars and restaurants and shopping. Need a dry bag for your phone and money because you have to swim to shore on one occasion. They provided them but put our dry bag i to theirs for double protection.
We had a fantastic day with Heather and Cornelius from Stormy Pirates. They both went out of their way to make sure everyone had a great time, sharing local tips and interesting information throughout the trip.
We really wanted to snorkel, and they made sure we had plenty of time in the water and helped us find some great spots. Their knowledge, energy, and laid-back personalities made the day even more enjoyable.
If you’re looking for a fun day on the water with a great crew, we definitely recommend Stormy Pirates!
Our captains were amazing! I was a little disappointed that we weren't on a Catamaran like the booking showed, but it was still a great experience!
The whole day was amazing, the captain and co captain were phenomenally friendly, helpful, and fun. They took us to the best spots. Their knowledge of the islands was impeccable. They went above and beyond with everything. Five plus stars. Highly recommend them for everyone.

Great way to spend the day! Experience & explore, meet Foxy, take a jump from Willy T’s, try some island baked goods. Or park it on the beach with a drink.
This trip was beyond amazing and worth every penny! Cornelius, the captain, was very sweet and made me feel completely safe being out on the water all day. His assistant Kevin was so nice and knowledgeable. He really went out of his way to make sure everybody on the boat was comfortable, safe and hydrated! The beach where the Soggy Dollar is and Willy T’s was the highlight of the trip. That and Magan’s Bay. I would honestly skip anything on the island because all the locals are rude as heck. Stick to the excursions on the water as all the crew are from the US mainland and super nice. And for the love of God, avoid the Elysian Beach Resort. It’s definitely not worth the money!
Great time! Friendly folks! We had fun and met a lot of other great folks in board. No complaints! They kept us hydrated and entertained!
This is a fun excursion but long, we got to Foxy’s early in the morning and nothing going on so that was disappointing. You will need to swim to get to Soggy Dollar and it’s deep, life jackets are offered along with noodles if wanted. My only suggestion would be to maybe eliminate one stop and spend more time at Soggy and Willy T’s. A microphone and speaker would be nice also as it was difficult to hear the guide over motor noise. Crew was VERY accommodating and kept the drinks flowing. All in all it was a good time and we glad we took the excursion.
Excellent!!! Met Foxy, quite the character, enjoyed all our stops and the crew (Capt. Cornelius and First Mate Jackson) were outstanding with their local knowledge, keeping us hydrated with water and our drinks of choice! Soggy Dollar Painkiller is a must have, White Bay beach is amazing. Have a blast, highly recommend!
Fantastic day on the boat "Pirate Penny". Beautiful scenery everywhere. Crystal clear water. Captain Cornelius & Robin made a great team. Friendly, informative & extremely helpful. Robin made awesome coctails! This was a great choice!
We did the fun day to Yost with Cornelius and Maeve. They we a lot of fun! We learned a lot about the surroundings islands and found the trip to be very enjoyable. Highly recommend, and ask for Cornelius and Maeve 😊

If you’re visiting the Virgin Islands, BOOK THIS TRIP—the Jost Van Dyke Funday with Stormy Pirates is hands-down the best excursion I’ve ever taken. Captain Brandon and first mate Kevin made the entire day unforgettable from start to finish.
From the moment we stepped on board, they created the perfect mix of fun, safety, and island magic. Brandon is an expert captain—smooth ride, great storytelling, and knew every hidden gem along the way. Kevin kept the energy high, the drinks flowing, and had everyone laughing the entire day.
Our first stop was Jost Van Dyke, and it felt like stepping straight into a postcard. Next up, the legendary Willy T, where we jumped off the top deck like true pirates—an absolute blast! Then we headed over to Soggy Dollar for Painkillers on the sand and perfect turquoise water, followed by a stop at Foxy’s, where the music, the bars, and that classic Jost vibe wrapped up the day perfectly.
The whole experience was seamless, well-organized, and full of unforgettable moments. The crew made us feel like family, and we never once felt rushed—they really let us enjoy each spot.
If you’re on the fence—don’t be. Stormy Pirates, Captain Brandon, and Kevin will give you the best day of your vacation. Already planning when I can go again!

Captains Heather and Tyler were great! We really had a fun time at the Soggy Dollar and met Foxy as well. Jumping off the Willy T was a blast! Good day on the water. Weather was nice. Would highly recommend it.

This trip has a couple of stops where you can grab a bite and Captain Heather makes sure you always have an ice cold drink (the Heather special is very refreshing 🍹). Captain Kenny did a great job making sure we experienced all the great sites in the BVI!! Thanks so much

We went on a very windy day, so the ride was quite bumpy (and wet). The crew was fantastic, and it was a super fun day.
We had a wonderful time. Brandon and Kevin (not my home alone voice) was A+ magnificent tour guides!! We would book again, just because of them!!!!!!
Amazing way to get a glimpse of the BVIs! Grant and Tyler were awesome and took care of everyone and made sure we had fun. The swim up to Soggy Dollar was really cool; and jumping off the Willy-T is a must-do!

There were only 6 of us on this tour and we all had a great time. The boat was comfortable and the captain and crew were awesome. Fun day.

We absolutely loved our BVI Bar hopping on Jost Van Dyke. We had a total of 8 people on our boat and 3 crew members from stormy pirates charters. Susannah, Lacey, and Kenny made sure we were "hydrated"and having a great time. Foxy's was great especially since we got to Meer Foxy, and then loved all the bars along the beach with Soggy Dollar. The day could not have been any better. I highly recommend jumping off the Willy T! We love living the island life!
Had a blast on our “Island Bar Hop” to the BVI. Our Captain Brandon and First Mate Tara were professional, knowledgeable, accommodating and down right fun. We’ve travelled to the BVI many times in the past, and this trip was by far the most fun. We’ll be back!! Donna & Jeff
