- You should bring along the following items: bathing suit, towel, sunscreen, and cash for lunch, drinks and souvenirs. Drinks on the tour bus are complimentary.
- While shopping or at the beach, your items will be secured in the front cab of the tour bus.
- If Shopping is part of your tour, once you're finished, we meet at the Liberty Bell in Emancipation Park. Shops close at 1:00 PM on Sundays.
- Coki Beach and Sapphire Beaches are free but Magens Bay has an entrance fee of $5.00 per person.
- Your Tour Package does not include the beach entrance fee, Coral World entrance fee or any other activity.
- Free drinks are provided on the tour buses all day for our passengers.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 27 travelers

We were asked where we wanted to pick up our excursion prior to the date. We put in Magens Bay. The morning of at 2am I received an email that we couldnt be picked up at the location specified. Rather we were told where to meet our excursion which was where all ships came in... we were not on a boat. We were tourists staying on the Northern part of the Island.
That morning we made our way to gate 4 where the cruise ships come in. Found our tour guide who didnt ask for our tickets but rather had us tell someone on a phone the guide had in his our names. Then we were driven to another pickup location where we picked up more couples. At no time did the guide speak other than to ask our names. He the proceeded to drop us off downtown, tell us to return to the same spot 1 hr later, and point to another guide and tell us we would be joining his tour group.
We wandered around for an hour amd met the new group. The new group was upset we were added to their tour (which was understandable) this put us at 23 passengers on a tour that said it could hold 27.... let's just say.. it was a "tight" fit. The tour guide then began talking about taking people and dropping them at Magens Bay. We mentioned we hadn't paid for that. They said its fine.. we will bring you back into town. The directions on what/where we were going changed several times during this conversation and at that time my husband and I decided we were done. We requested to get off the tour (it hadn't left the pickup area) the tour guide asked us why yo which we stated that there was no clear direction, and it was too packed. We'd find our way. So disappointing. We thought we'd see the sights, get history of the area and what we got instead was a discombobulated and confusing mess. Very disappointed.

I don't know because my tour guide never got back to me after there messages, calls, hotel help, and two tour helpers at Haven sight mall and two phone assistants one telling me he would report it and that I wanted a refund since I never went on the tour and someone named Godfrey was no wear to be found this was so bad I worried maybe that the person has had an Emergency, but lots of tour people new his name. Want my $80 refund. 😡

We did not enjoy the first stop for shopping. There was no direction on whether there was more to see & do other then the store he dropped us off at or the small open market across the street. Had to sit and wait 30 minutes for driver to come back. The rest of the tours was fine.

We had booked a 12pm tour. Arrived at 11.45, by 12.35pm the tour operator Gregory has not arrived and was avoiding all calls. A local security guard called him and he said he had moved the tour to earlier in than day and said he could not call me as I had a UK number . He made no attempt to what’s app or go through Viator message . Avoid and take a local trip that are the same , cheaper and easily available in the parking lot when you get of the ship

The trip was just very unorganized from start to finish, never once did the driver check to make sure we had tickets, so he had no manifest letting him know how many people he had on his tour. The driver was 10 minutes late picking us up at the cruise terminal and then he was another 10 minutes late picking us up from shopping. When we went to top of the mountain for the overview and banana daiquiri, we only had 25 minutes (which is how long it took to get the daiquiri). Speaking of the banana daiquiri, the site said one was included, when I asked the driver about it he said I don't know why the website says that you have to buy it yourself. When we loaded up the truck at the mountain he almost left two people because he didn't have a headcount of how many people were on his tour. At the end of the tour the driver was in a heated conversation on his phone with someone else from the tour company, he gave his phone to my girlfriend and told her to talk to them which she refused. The tour company was telling him he left someone or didnt pick someone up, all could have been avoided if he used a manifest and knew who was supposed to be on his tour and who actually was on his tour. Viator needs to update what this trip truly is or contact Godfrey tours and have a discussion with them about doing the right thing. I don't recommend this tour.

I would recommend this experience. It allowed you to have an overall view of the island. You got to see gorgeous view points at a reasonable price.
The drivers were exceptional. They were very kind, respectful, wanted to give you a wonderful experience.
My only display was it was overcrowded/oversold. One couple was not able to sit together. One of them had to sit in the front with the driver.
Nothing could be done besides someone cancels their experience, but you don’t have any other options that late in the game….
It just seemed a little bit chaotic with so many people which they stated whispering busy because they had more cruise ships with spring break.
When I reached out in advance for support or information, I did not receive a reply.
All in all, it was a good experience in March. If this was the summertime, it would’ve been absolutely miserable with so many people cramped together. I would definitely not do it.

Did exactly what was stated in the tour description. Really nice! Godfrey tours were professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Had some difficulty hooking up at the port. Showing up early gives you enough time to meet up. Also, if you are taller, you might want to sit at the end of the seats (to lean over & see) instead of the middle due to arched ceiling sides extending too far down. Short people in middle of the seats would have no problem seeing. Otherwise, a very nice tour! Kudos to Godfrey!

We booked this tour and we were instructed that we would be picked up at The Westin Resort on St. John.
At 2:14am on the day of the tour, we were rescheduled from 8:30 to 9:30. No worries. We’re flexible.
At 8:30, we received a call from the tour operator asking where we were. I texted them the ticket info in my Apple wallet.
Long story short, they gave out incorrect information on the pickup point and changed the time in the middle of the night.
We ended up taking the ferry to town and touring on our own. I’m pretty sure we passed our tour group a few times.
I would give them 0 stars, but I have to give at least 1 star.

That the shuttle taxi/bus was old, extremely very rough riding. Was slammed into seats everytimes you hit a hole or bumps in the road, which there are alot of. Almost left tour to look for a taxi and rebook on a different company with ni er vehicles.

I felt like cattle being shuffled from one place to another. Everything was very crowded. Water was to be provided but when my husband asked for one he was told no. About 30 minutes later he offered everyone a water, I guess you couldn’t get one unless decided the time was right.

Our tour got mixed in with a tour that included time at the beach. Shopping time was a bit limited, as we were scheduled for 10:30 pick up and we were picked up at 11. Godfrey is a very nice fellow and we enjoyed him sharing the history of the island. He took our group a short distance and then it was handled by one of his drivers. The open air taxi was a rough ride in spots, but the driver assisted us in getting on and off and provided a small step stool. Chips and water were available. We enjoyed a great day seeing the sights of St Thomas. The views from the top of mountain were just amazing. The others in the tour added to a really fun day.
The roads are tricky and winding - our driver handled them easily. We did run into traffic returning to the ship, but it was caused by a accident on the road.

Shelly was an excellent driver on the winding, hilly roads, while sharing the history of St. Thomas and the Virgin Islands. We enjoyed the tour but not the open air bus. It was all part of the experience, however.

Good tour overall, but a little chaotic to start and confusing as they try to run several types of tours simultaneously. One of the drivers was very lackluster (tired?), but our second driver (once we were switched to a different bus/tour) was incredible. She was so friendly and informative.

Unfortunately we were not picked up at our hotel for this tour as outlined on the ticket. We waited from 20 minutes before the pickup time til an hour after, and called and texted with no answer. Very disappointed.

Unfortunately I couldn't reccomended this activity. There was limited communication from the tour guide and we were dropped to do shopping for a hour with very few shops even open and no real direction. The transport was uncomfortable after a couple of hours and the sights were beautiful but with very little information about the area .There was a microphone but because of the sound of th a truck it was hard to hear or understand.We were on this trip with 4 other adults and 2 children and we all agreed this was not value for money .

Do not go with this company! Driver arrived 48 mins late & argued with 3 couples that we ALL had the wrong time. Could not understand driver, so have no idea of the sights. The PA system did not work well. Everything sounded all muddled. Shopping ok. For one stop, he moved the trolley car, did NOT tell us. Once WE found him, he said it was closer. This would have been true if we knew where he parked. Instead we climbed many flights of stairs then needed to go around and down a hill to find him. Company combined the 4 hr & 6 hr tours. We had no idea what was happening. We dropped off some people at a beach. Weirdly, our tickets said entrance fee included. Though we were not going to do anything at the beach. 6 hr people were charged $7.00 entrance fee to beach. Positive: a bag of chips & water were provided. Would we go with this company again? NEVER!

Godfrey our tour guide was very detailed with the history of the USVI, he ensured at each stop to huddle up as a group to give specific insights during our tour. Very good tour of sightseeing and shopping. We reached the mountain top and enjoyed a banana daiquiri! Godfrey was an excellent guide and we enjoyed the tour!

Pick up location and timings, although specified, were unclear when we arrived in the port.
Our driver was late.
We were dropped in Charlotte amelie for two hours shopping. Unfortunately it was a Sunday and very early. Virtually all the vendors were closed. What a waste of time. We weren't told this was the location of the 99 steps, otherwise we would have walked it.
Once we left the shopping stop, the tour picked up. We especially enjoyed the Koki beach stop at the end.

This was a nice day to pack in some sights in you have limited amount of days in the area. The bus was super comfortable. The meal at the pub was delicious. Highly recommend this tour.

Great tour guide! Super knowledgeable about the history of the Virgin Islands and all of the hurricanes. Very safe driver too. Only suggestion for a future tourist would be to not plan this excursion on a day when cruise ships are coming in to dock and not on a day of a parade in town . We were stuck in heavy traffic for about 45-60 minutes. Our tour wasn’t shorted in any way but just something i wish we’d known ahead of time. Trip to the mountain was scenic and the store at the top has tons of touristy offerings at reasonable prices; my husband loved the banana daiquiri too. Lots of chances to stop and take photos.
