Disappointed

We were looking forward to this because it seemed like a unique experience in SXM. Overall we were disappointed, though. Gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because the views at the top are truly fantastic. Aside from that, it was extremely expensive to ride an old ski lift to the destination at the top. The ski lift stopped and started so often that half of us were sick to our stomachs by the time we reached the top. When we came back down, we decided to go to the restaurant at the bottom because the menu looked good. Unfortunately, when we got there, the server said they were only serving about 3 things on the menu because several of the staff didn’t come to work that day and the cook was working alone. Also, the bathrooms were poorly maintained. Would not choose this activity again.

Rainforest adventure tour

This tour did not offer to pick up and drop us back to hotel. As mentioned in the description you are required to get to the location on your own but they were supposed to drop back to the hotel. That didn't happen and I end up incurring an additional fee of $30 taxi fare to return to hotel. Plus $30 taxi to get to the rainforest adventure location. I think the description should be clear. Views are breathtaking but we were rushed to leave.
