It was a great tour into the rainforest. Nat was very knowledgeable about the area. Driving to ATV was a first. It was pretty exciting. Would definitely recommend doing this activity.

Itinerary

Following pickup at your accommodation in Gros Isle, Castries, or the port area, transfer to the launch point.

Meet your experienced adventure guide and listen to a short safety briefing. Hop on the back of your fully automatic ATV to begin your adventure.

Set out along trails and pass locals going about their daily activities in rural farming communities. When you reach the 18th-century Marquis Estate, enjoy stunning views over Marquis Bay. This estate and its 500-acre (202-hectare) property is also home to the ruins of a sugar mill, a water wheel, and quarters where enslaved people were housed. Learn about the local produce and the large role agriculture played in the country's history.

Your next stop is the edge of Grande Anse Beach, where you can catch a bird's-eye view of the coast. This gorgeous beach is a protected nesting site for leatherback and hawksbill turtles between the months of March and August. Your guide will fill you in on researchers' efforts to track the turtles and their offspring.

When your adventure is over, board your tour vehicle for the return to your original departure point.

If you’re on the fence about doing an ATV tour in St. Lucia, do this one. It was hands down one of the best experiences of our trip. From start to finish, everything was dialed in. Communication was clear, pickup was right on time, and the ride itself was the perfect mix of adventure and real local immersion, not just a tourist loop. Our guide made it next level. Super knowledgeable about the island, but what really stood out was how he brought the land to life. My kids are obsessed with fruit, and he went out of his way to show us what’s actually growing out there, cinnamon, bay leaves, and all kinds of local fruits. We even got to taste some along the way, which they loved. The highlight? Driving the ATVs up a creek bed. Unreal experience. If you want something that feels authentic, adventurous, and actually memorable, not just another excursion, this is it. Can’t recommend it enough.

Overall Good Experience, Bad Attituted Driver

Lana, Jun 2026
The tour guide was nice and it was a very pretty scenery. It was enjoyable to see and all the greenery and try their mangoes which tasted delicious. The driver that picked us up from our resort was very rude and unprofessional. Our scheduled pickup time was 1245 she called me at 1236 saying I’m here. I said okay we will be down at 1245 since that’s the time they had sent me for pickup. She said “oh my god”, and hung up the phone. She said “is that your son” when we got down to her car to my partner who anyone could clearly tell was not my son. Then proceeded to make more rude comments like “he looks and acts very childish” and blah blah blah. Was very disappointed with her.

Miscommunication

Nancy_W, Jun 2026
Experience started off pretty rough. No communication from Viator or the company responsible for excursion. There were 8 in our party and no one received a notice on what time to meet the driver. All we knew is 11a time, so we were in the lobby waiting. Our driver arrived around 10:30a-10:40a for pick-up and of course we were not there. We quickly assembled and rushed to the lobby. Only to find out that my reservation for 2 was not logged. The driver stated she had 6 ppl for the tour, which left my husband and my paid tickets unaccounted for. The driver called someone, I would assume the ATV company and the owner states they had been trying to contact me on Sunday to state they could not accommodate my tickets. I explained to him that my card has been charged and I have my tickets. HE proceeds to say my card was NOT charged and I am looking at my credit card statement. He continued to state someone was trying to call me about this issue. My phone NEVER rang from anyone about the excursion, no email, or text message and I was still receiving messages from viator about the tour and wishing us a good time. (confusing right). So then the driver states the company has 2 double atv's and 2 single. Then changed the story to 3 doubles and 1 single. So, we had one of the doubles and my sister had 2 singles, which meant, they couldn't accommodate her paid tickets, not mine. So it appeared my tickets were cancelled out, totally erased from the ATV database to give my sister instead of 2 singles, 1 singe and my double for her husband. Well, we took the ride to the atv location, and my sisters husband stated he would not ride so we could use OUR paid double that we paid for. He spoke with the owner while waiting on our return and expressed to him the disappointment in the service and how it was handled. The owner accepted accountability and apologized for the error. He refunded the money within 2 hours. Tour was great. Guide was very knowledgeable and professional... Moral of this story: Don't have one.. Be prepared for anything LOL

Unprofessional

Aleyah_H, Jun 2026
Our tour guide was rude and unprofessional. Wish I would’ve know before hand and would have booked with someone else and got a full refund. St Lucia is beautiful so I’m glad we went and was able to see the island but I would not recommend booking with this company

Fun family outing

Dave_H, Jun 2026
Our guide was very careful with our inexperienced group. Machines were well worn but cared for and operated flawlessly. The ride was paced for our comfort level and the guide was very friendly and helpful. Several detours for fun trails and water crossings added to the fun. Whole family enjoyed the experience.

Great Adventure in St. Lucia

Will, Jun 2026
My wife and I did this for our honeymoon. She rode on the back of a two seater ATV. The ride to the tour location was great. The bus from Sandals La Toc was very easy and they were on time to pick us up. The actual ATV was awesome and our guide Jamal was excellent. We only had a group of 6 on the tour (with only 3 ATVs). Jamal made sure we all were comfortable and we went on some great trails. We were experienced riders, but someone who was just learning would have been reasonably comfortable doing the trail. Jamal also stopped twice to tell us about various spots along the trail. Being a native St. Lucian, he was very knowledgeable. Overall a great trip and gorgeous forest/jungle reviews! Highly recommend!!

Fun farmland tour!

Mariah_S, May 2026
This was a great way to see more of the island! There’s some road riding and some trail riding with beautiful views no matter what! Our guide stopped a few times to explain different views, history, and plants. We stopped by a local farm and got to talk to the farmer and see his crops and animals. The ATVs are a bit rough but overall didn’t take away from our ride

The ATV's are showing their age. They ran well, though. The guide and security rider were very friendly and knowledgeable. Picked up some of the local fruit to try. Overall, it was a very good experience.

Best Excursion in St. Lucia, Hands Down

Very good tour; 2 (small) heads up

Janine_W, Apr 2026
A nice, cruise-friendly excursion that gets you past all the duty-free shops and typical tourist traps. Our guide (Kwan? pls forgive the spelling) was very good: personable and full of interesting information about our various stops. Two things to keep in mind (just awareness, not concern): 1) the ride itself is 1.5-2 hrs; it takes about 20-25 minutes to get to the shop from the pier. 2) the guidance provided was to meet outside 'gate 2'. If the gates are numbered, none of the 4 of us saw them; so just ask around -- locals are more then open to helping. And to meet 'outside the gate' -- it seems we were supposed to actually go not just past the gate by the taxi area but also past the chainlink fence gate which is only another ~30 feet beyond the duty-free area gate. Not big inconveniences, just small things to help you be a bit more aware than we were.

The Best ATV Ride Experience!

Edward_S, Apr 2026
We had a really good time! I definitely recommend anyone to go ride with them! We learned a lot about the islands history while taking on the windy, rocky muddy roads! 10/10 experience! Staff was very friendly and knowledgable!

Great ATV Tour

Evan_H, Mar 2026
Fun with great guides. See more of the island at ground level, the ATV gave me great feel for the neighborhoods and plantation we went through. Can't say enough good things about our guides, entertaining, knowledgeable, friendly and ensured our safety at all times. I loved the rest stop at the old power mill and the presentation of native medicinal plants.

History Tour with a Ride!

Dalton_S, Mar 2026
From secrets it was a 15 minute van ride. The lady driver was informative and cheerful. The atv ride itself for us was rescheduled to the afternoon. Turned out to be for the best as we had a private tour. The conversations were more informative during the stops of the history and local surroundings than our other paid for tours. Going in I thought it was just an atv ride. Turned out to be a great history and informative tour with the atv ride as a bonus!

Leisurely Ride through Country

ChrisRosencutter, Feb 2026
It is not really an adventure tour, think more of a leisurely ride on an ATV through the San Lucia country side. It was nice to see authentic homes and farms up close.

They need to update the description to reflect am accurate description of the stops and the duration of the tour. Our tour ended an hour early. When asked for an explanation, none was provided.

Don’t waste your money

Kristen_B, Feb 2026
For starters, the driver called and said he was outside of the resort at 12:29 P.M. The instructions stated he would be there at 12:45. I accidentally left my wallet, ran to the room and was back at the front by 12:47. We had two family members inside of the van telling the driver that we were coming. The driver said he was impatient and he could not wait 2 minutes. So he left us and we had to pay an additional taxi $65 to travel to the place. Once we arrived, we were able to quickly get on the ATVs and ride. The overall trip was BORING! We rode for approximately 1 hour and only went through a small puddle. (So if you were looking to get wet, dirty or muddy, Don’t! We mostly drove on the street and we stopped one time to learn about history of a water well, then we left and went back to the business. Even though we had already paid, was no accommodation for them leaving us. No thank you or apology was given. We loaded the van to leave and we had to now wait on the driver (Oh how the tables turn). While we were waiting there was a group of 10 girls waiting to ride after we were done. Well the ladies did not ride because the people told them that their Atv’s were broken down. The establishment just seems shady and not very pleasant. I have ridden several ATV/buggy tours out of the country and this was by far the worst one.

5000 stars

Pamela_N, Feb 2026
I have no idea why the other people put low ratings on this tour because we had an outstanding time.Nate and Fredy was the best tour guides. They were so knowledgeable and did a complete run down on everything before the tour started.I highly recommend this tour if you want some excitement in your life.

Excellent staff, Worth the trip

Roxane_B, Jan 2026
Great trip into the lush tropical areas, learned some history and had the best juice I’ve ever tasted.

Do it !!!

Jason_A, Jan 2026
What a fantastic experience! A little background first. We are experienced cruisers and atv owners. We've taken about a dozen atv adventures during our 40 cruises and I can say this was easily the best as far as scenery and service go. The 2 hour ride took us just about everywhere. Up mountains, down through foot deep creak/streams. The descent into one of them is not for the week of heart as it seemingly goes straight down into the water. What a blast! Our guides Kwan Freddie and Jamal were very informative at the stops and quite friendly. What a great time. Thanks guys!!!

Friendly staff/little off road

Anne_S, Jan 2026
Jamal our guide was very friendly and brought us to an old sugar mill and water power mill. He and Ferdy were very friendly. The tour was mainly on a road with two small off road experiences. Experienced ATV riders would be disappointed.

Enjoyed this tour

Karen_Z, Jan 2026
We had a great time and got to go off trail a bit. Our guide was knowledgeable and pickup was on time. A bit disappointed that they had mechanical issues and couldnt accommodate our original reservation, but we had a good time and would recommend.

Humbling experience

Jessica_R, Jan 2026
Very cool ride. Nat the tour guide takes you into the forest-y / farm lands and brings you to some cool spots that have been around for hundreds of years! He showed us all different trees and fruits and what their uses are and it was just so cool to see how the people in st Lucia just pick their own food whenever they want and know which leaves are good for what… also can’t beat the views!

Tour itself not too bad if we’d got what we paid for & was aware you need prior experience

Natasha_S, Jan 2026
We’d booked 2 single seater ATV’s but when we arrived, they’d only had a double for us- disappointing but was told a partial refund will be arranged- I have a message from viator about this so hopefully the refund comes through promptly. On the description of the tour, nowhere does it say you have to have any prior experience in driving an ATV. My sister has, but I havent so wasnt allowed to drive the ATV at all. Imagine the 2 single seaters were available, would they have denied me using? On the double seater it would have been nice for me to drive on the return journey Wouldnt have booked the tour in the first place if we’d been told you need prior experience and they could have had these decency to let me know before picking us up that it would be a double seater
