We had a wonderful tour! Our guide, Anthony, was amazing. We can’t say enough good things about him. He was great company. He made some fun stops throughout the day that we weren’t expecting and we loved it. You really can go at your own pace on this private tour which was nice. We never felt rushed. He told us to let him know if we wanted to stop somewhere but ultimately we just followed his lead. A private tour is the way to go over the ones with big groups. We loved this day of our vacation. It was so much fun. We would highly recommend this tour.

To start I had to reach out to the company to ensure we were all set no communication prior to my contact to let us know and/or confirm pickup or that we were booked. Brad was very quick to response so that was a plus. Anthony was our tour guide, he is very knowledgeable stopped at many places nice to have a private vehicle and tour all to ourself. Cons: Nothing else is included, you have to pay for each place the volcano, waterfall, restaurant, chocolate tour if you want to do that etc (others have many of these included in the price). We were offered No water, beers or soda. I even said man I guess I should have brought some water. I know this is a smaller company but the price should include something! We didn't get assistance at the pool to have our pictures taken. I understand when you have to step away to do something but when you have paying customers and other tour guides where doing video, pictures everything for their group. That was not cool. Pros: you can stop by places on the way to the tour locations. A/C van ride, safe driver.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. To begin with it is our policy to reach out to our clients 24 to 48 hours before any experience with us, that is the only reason you wrote us first. Secondly Anthony stepped away to use the restroom when he returned you were already out of the pool in quick time. It is always our custom to take photos and videos for all of our experiences. In addition we offer drinks on all of our tours and airport transfers, Anthony did have a cooler of drinks and offered you and your husband refreshments so we are extremely disturbed by this unfactual claim that nothing was offered. When booking the tour it says exactly what is including and what is not so we are also extremely disappointed with the negative and inaccurate feedback.

Excellent St. Lucia Tour-Excursion

We booked this tour as an excursion while on a Princess cruise. Brad was our tour guide. There was only my wife and I so it was pretty much a private tour of the island. Brad is local and knows the island very well. We saw local spots as well as popular tourist attractions. Brad helped us navigate the mud baths in Soufriere ( must do activity ) and drove us to see the Pitons, the Edmund Reserve Rainforest and a spectacular view of Marigot Bay. We also stopped for lunch at Seashells and at a local chocolate store. We had a great experience and would highly recommend this tour with Simple Transfers/Viator. Private or very small group tour vs large excursion tour through cruise lines on a bus with 30 people is no comparison, and usually for the same cost. We were back to our ship with 2-3 hours to spare. We appreciated Brad's knowledge of the island and attention to detail.

Anthony was professional and a wealth of knowledge about the island and the culture of his home country. We appreciated that Anthony let us go at our own pace, and we never felt rushed or that we had to spend longer than we wanted at any destination. Anthony told us exactly where to go and who to talk to at every stop. If you’re looking for a canned tour that will do all of the legwork for you when buying tickets or staying close by your side at each destination, this may not be the tour for you. If you’re a fairly competent traveler and want a local to show you the island, share their love for the culture, and take you to locations you probably wouldn’t find on your own (in addition to a couple more touristy spots) then this tour is a great experience!

St Lucia is the best

There’s a lot of traffic and the road is very winding. It took a long time to get there and get back. We made it back to the ship 20 minutes before closing the gangway! There was no planned stop to eat but we needed to eat so we stopped at a nice and clean restaurant with delicious and fresh food. Try the sour orange juice! The driver also made a nice stop at a chocolate factory to buy chocolate. To die for!!!! I’m definitely going back to St Lucia and I recommend this travel agent. He assured us we would be on time back to the ship and we made it indeed!

A truly great tour of St Lucia

This was a truly terrific tour. The pickup was punctural as well as the drop off, the two drivers (guides) were excellent. They made a full day of exploring the island and giving us the time needed in each location. They were very patient and accommodating. This was booked separate from the cruise ship and I'm so glad we did, avoiding their lines and crowds and the cruise line's higher prices. We had two larger vans to ourselves- for our family of 10. This tour is recommended to all.

What a great tour! Antony picked us up right from the port and recommended various activities to us as well as asked if there was anything we had already wanted to do. He was very knowlagable about St Lucia (he was born there) and I appreciated the history and background. After a full day he dropped us back off at the port. Would do it again next time we're on the island!

Excellent option to larger cruise tours

We were a party of 4 from a cruise. Brad was great. It was very easy to change our pick up time when we realized our original booked time wouldn't work. It was very clear what was included and what wasn't. He gave us information about St Lucia and the villages we drove through. He was conversive and happy to answer all our questions but also was happy to just let us sit in silence and take in the beauty of the island. He took pictures for us at the stops. If you don't like snakes, give Brad a heads up and he will give you a warning as there may be a man on the side of the road with a boa. I highly recommend this tour.

Just an Expensive Taxi Ride

We booked this tour based upon the description and reviews, The description of this private tour is not at all what we received, The "Guide" was nice, however, he was not a tour guide. He was very quiet, and would answer if we asked questions, but the only one that could hear him was the passenger in the front seat. Those of us in the back could not hear him. He did tell us the town/villages we were driving through, pointed out the Pitons and that was it. On the way back for the hour and a half drive, he didn't say anything. When we got to the Volcano and Mud Baths, he asked if we were doing both and told us to get tickets. We did the Volcano first, he the drove back to the Mud Baths, stopped and parked halfway down the hill and told us to meet him back in the van when we were done. We had no clue where to go to get in, and no information of what to do. Once inside, we saw many other tour guides with their customers, taking pictures for them and of them, holding their items, and interacting with them. We then went to the Waterfall, and it was the same thing, pay and then walk in. Once inside near the waterfalls, we again saw other private tour groups with their guide, who was taking pictures for them, etc. Do your research, there are other companies that offer the same tour, and actually provide a real tour guide and tour. Other companies guides and the people they were with were all smiling, laughing and having a great time, St Lucia is beautiful, we made the most of our tour, however what we paid for and what we received were completely different things. I emailed this company. when we got back that evening to let him know about the day. I told him that we were going to review this tour, as we do with every tour, but wanted to let him know about our dissatisfaction before writing the review. He apologized for the driver, told us he was new and needed more training, and the next time we came to St Lucia we should let him know and he'd make sure we had a good tour. The driver told us he'd been doing this for 3 years, so we recieved differing stories, and we also question why they would put a "tour guide" in a van that holds 7. passengers without any type of device so those in the very back could hear. This is the first review (out of 10) we have done that we haven't given 5 stars. ' This company. "Simply Transfers" ended up being just that, a very expensive taxi ride.

Good Day Karen Kindly delete the review since it is extremely misleading and contains alot of misinformation that is not consistent to our company or the service that you received. For example, you stated that those of us at the back could not hear him, however you sat up front next to him and never sat in the back. Secondly your driver would have to stop for you at some point before the mud bath in order to proceed to the car park. Thirdly it is extremely misleading to state that you had no clue on the way to get in since there is security to collect the tickets for the mud bath and there are staff at the facility that provide support to guides even applying the mud for us when necessary. Beautiful day in St Lucia

Our guide was excellent and very accommodating. The island is beautiful the people are all very friendly. He took us to the mud bath at Sulphur springs. We were supposed to see a waterfall but due to a mudslide he took us to the chocolate plantation. His car had some mechanical issues so he promptly found us a ride back to the port.

This was an excellent tour overall. Guide was knowledgeable, flexible and easy going. Very comfortable vehicle for a long windy drive, won’t recommend for persons who get car sick. Tour was tweaked to our preference and the Pitons waterfall is a much better swimming option than the recommended waterfall. Lunch at Mango Tree restaurant is a must do!!

Delroy was our tour guide for the day! He was so knowledgeable and made us feel very welcomed to St. Lucia. He knew local spots to eat at, and took our family to the natural sulfur springs and waterfall. Additionally, we traveled through some local villages of which Delroy explained the history!
