Didn’t really get much of the history of St. John’s. Our guide was. a charming young man but he really didn’t present himself as a true St. John’s person passionate about his city. More really just following a script. We always try and take a walking tour when in cities we re not familiar with to get a feel and not just wander round not knowing what we are looking at. We didn’t come away knowing much about the history of St. John’s that is readily available online. The stops at places of interest seemed more just of filler.
Very nice walking tour, informative and William answered all of our questions very well! I would recommend this tour.
Isaac was an excellent guide, he explained much of the history- keeping it simple and interesting-the culture, language etc while walking between the major sights and significant buildings and avoiding steep climbs. He welcomed and answered all our questions. A thorough and comprehensive introduction to St John’s in just under 2 hours. Highly recommended

We have requested a refund as my cousin could not complete the tour because of her sprained knee that occurred the day before

St John's is on a hill. There are lots of ups and downs. Our tour guide kept a good pace and was very knowledgeable. We were lucky and had great weather.
Excellent guide. Very knowledgeable. Took us on the entire loop around the city. As said, very informative.
The guide didn’t know their stuff and had to read a script. They also walked to fast and hurriedly us along and wasn’t loud enough. We quit half way . Waste of time and money.
