My time with Deneen was delightful. The time of year and the presence of snow/ice made an actual hike impossible - yet Deneen arranged for us to check out a few nearby fishing villages.
She was super personable, kind, very generous and I sincerely forgot that I was even on a tour - it felt like I was talking to a friend.
Communication was superb, she picked me up at my hotel and dropped me off at the airport after. My tour with George - her partner - a few days ago was phenomenal. And my time with Deneen was equally as rich.
Will definitely be back… when it’s warmer!

Deneen was a wonderful guide. Enthusiastic and knowledgeable. More of a walk than a hike, but along a beautiful coastline. Highly recommend George’s Tours
Deneen is not only an excellent tour guide hiker but she also has an amazing voice! You won’t be disappointed! My sister in law and I had a great adventure and learned so much from Deneen. If you come to St. John’s Newfoundland, don’t miss this!
Wonderful experience. Deneen did a great job explaining things about the island and the towns revisited. The coastal hike was great break from our cruise. The fresh blueberries were a plus. Fun trip.
Deneen is a great guide. She is very knowledgeable and fun to be with.. We saw many beautiful views during our hike.
Deneen is a fabulous tour leader. As a local, she is knowledgeable about local customs, berries, flowers, trees and what can be used for medicinal purposes. The view stops were ideal and the hike exceptional. She took us places we would never have found on our own.
Before the hike, our guide made a few stops at scenic overlooks and gave information about local history and attractions. The hike was not physically challenging, more of a beautiful stroll in nature. The pace was perfect. We even discovered some wild berries to nibble on. I would recommend this trip to anyone.
Deneen is very knowledgeable about the Killick Coast and takes you to gems that most locals aren't aware of! I not only enjoyed the trip and the hike, I feel like I have a new friend!
I had a great experience with Deneen! From the moment I opened a door of her car, I was met with a smile, friendly atmosphere and a nice conversation. I felt very comfortable and learnt a lot too! Deneen shared so many interesting facts during our trip. I would definitely recommend this guide!!!

Very personalized experience. Deneen listened carefully and was sensitive to my possible physical limitations, like sore knees. Very knowledgeable about the area. Newfoundland is more than a rock. Tons of interesting plant life including trees and flowers and berries of all kinds.
I really enjoyed this morning with Deneen! We went to a local breakfast spot (the touton was delicious) and then to some gorgeous lookout spots on the way to our coastal hike. Deneen is so kind and easy to talk to, and the hike was incredibly beautiful. Highly recommend this experience!
Deneen was such a knowledgeable guide and we saw many "off the beaten path" parts of the island. It was a great experience!
The views were breathtaking, and D was fun, knowleable and has a kind soul. Food was delicious, had the fish cakes, yummy.
