We asked ahead for clarification of pickup and drop off location and were told pickup from the ship harbor. Turned out to be a different pier that was a 25 minutes walk from our ship so we made our way there and were picked up by a driver in a 8 seater minivan. He informed us we were waiting for 3 others. 2 people had to crawl all the way in the back. My husband claimed the front passenger seat due to his long legs. Finally the driver got a call from someone waiting for him at our ship..,no problem…he drove to the ship (that the rest of us had just walked from) to pick 2 people up and announced the tour was beginning (without the 7th person.) He learned all our names quickly and was friendly but we asked a lot of questions to learn information that he may not have otherwise shared. He did not walk with us on 2 of the stops…just showed us where to walk and told us to be back at a certain time. Once, as we got back in the vehicle, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke (most likely the reason he didn’t walk with us.) All 6 of the passengers agreed it was the worst off ship tour we’d ever taken. Do not recommend!

The operator abruptly cancel the tour on the day itself and at the exact time they supposed to picked me up and only after I contacted them.

We liked Cape Spear and Signal Hill and the rest of the tour. Keith gave us ample time to see everything. Only bad thing was having to walk for 30 minutes to get from the ship to the pickup point. Could have been picked up closer to ship. Keith did drop us off at the ship at end of tour.

Saw all sights as described with2 other travelers. The back seat of the smallish car was cramped getting in and out which we frequently did.

This was a five star tour, because of the distance needed to walk from the pier to the meeting point, we took one star off.
Keith our driver/guide was excellent. He was very knowledgeable of the city and sites we explored.

The tour picked us up at the cruise port and took us on a wonderful tour of St. John’s. Keith the driver of See Sight Tours was very knowledgeable. Despite being exceptionally windy and cold we walked around Cape Spear and Signal Hill. Highly recommend this tour to see the sights without a hassle.

The car was too small for the four guests that were in the car. We were stuffed in the car & had to sit sideways to fit. It was difficult to get in and out of the car. When we booked the tour, they said it would accompany up to seven people. The tour guide, though personable, seemed more interested in talking about sports teams, instead of giving us the history and facts of the visited sites. Even though we didn’t mention finishing quickly, he mentioned it several times and seemed to want to end the tour sooner than the published length of the tour.

Keith was a fantastic tour guide. He’s from St. John’s so his knowledge of the island and its history is second to none. He was very accommodating throughout the tour and made sure I felt like a ViP. St. John’s is special and Keith was a phenomenal tour guide. Highly recommend this tour!

I had high hopes for this excursion. Unfortunately the weather was foggy and rainy and could not see much. This is to be expected in this area. If I’ve had more time, I would have rebooked for a sunny day. Keith, the tour guy was very knowledgeable of the area and did his best to cheer things up. I particularly enjoyed the info about the history surrounding WW2 and the part St. John’s played. A big thank you to Keith for making a stop at a drugstore to allow me to buy some anti acid medication. Much much appreciated, as it made my journey back home much more tolerable.

Guide was friendly and outgoing. He came in a Nisan so 3 of us were squashed in the backseat. Felt we would have learned more if we drove to these places ourselves. Saw church and the rooms didn't stop. Quidi

This was a great tour. The vehicle was comfortable for six people. The tour guide, Leo, was great. The scenery was spectacular. The tour was three and a half hours, and went by very quickly.

Our St. John's, Quidi Vidi & Signal Hill Small Group Tour with Leo was fantastic from beginning to end! Leo is not only very knowledgeable, but also funny and clearly passionate about Newfoundland’s history and culture. He shared stories, local insights, and fun facts that made every stop more meaningful, from the stunning views atop Signal Hill to the charm of Quidi Vidi Village.
The pace was perfect and his tour gave us a real appreciation for the area and was one of the highlights of our trip to St. John’s. We’d highly recommend this tour—and Leo—to anyone visiting!

The tour guide was attentive and took us to the three locations as expected. He is a local and was able to answer questions and add in some local tidbits. Our guide suggested an excellent lunch spot and ensured we knew how to get back to the ship. The tour company directed us to meet the tour guide .7 of a mile away from the ship. This was up a hill which caused a delay in starting the tour as many passengers were unable to walk that far. In the future the tour company should set the meet up location at Alt Hotel just steps from the ship.

Keith was amazing! The weather wasn’t great but we got to see and learn so much that we have to come back to St John’s to visit the places he recommended!

Great guide, small car for 4, pick up location selection was confusing for our us and the other party on the tour but it worked out. Cape Spear was fantastic could have spent more time here. Signal Hill is great with interesting Marconi history. Quidi Vidi Village was just a short stop look see so it might be nice to do something there.

Terry Fox statue and Cape Spear were my favourites. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and full of personality. There were only 4 of us on the tour which was nice. Not much to see in Quidi Vidi. Signal Hill was interesting.

We were at the designated meeting place 15 min early and stayed 30 min. The trip leader Tripshepard never showed. Viator should ditch this operator. It ruined the last port for us

Poor meeting instructions, took us to a residential area to an attorney house! 90 Halley! After numerous attempts to contact the company finally was told our driver was sick and we could try and go later or tomorrow which was impossible because we were on a cruise ship!! The reason I gave them 2 stars was the rapid refund very apologetic
