We went on a day that it was pouring rain and about 3-4 Celsius. Although the conditions were not great, the guides did a good job as making us as comfortable as possible. There is a stop at a gas station on the way up and on the way down, so there is an opportunity for toilets and food/coffee. Make sure you check the weather and if it’s going to rain, then bring a change of clothes. It was gorgeous but we definitely got soaked.

Absolute must visit in croatia

This is a beautiful and absolute must visit day trip to work into your croatia itinerary. Was not a bad ride out or back. Views were spectacular, pics and videos do it no justice. Mate, our tour guide, was exceptional. He was Funny, informative and educational, kept us prompt on schedule while still ensuring we saw every part of the park. Lunch was great as well. Overall, extremely happy we did this. 10/10 recommend!

The park itself is worth every penny

Plitvice Lakes National Park is a mind-blowing place. I needed a ride to get there and back from Split since I am a solo traveler without a car. This tour is NOT just transport, unfortunately. It’s a guided tour. I couldn’t find just transport anywhere, which is super annoying. But I told the guide I was ditching the group and then I did. I promised I would be on time to return and I was 45 minutes early so I think I upheld my part of the deal. I wanted to run the park so I could see more of it. I did and it was SO worth it. If you are there off-season when it’s way quieter I highly recommend running around the park so you get your 3.5-4 hours worth. Or better yet, if you have time, take the public buses and stay a few days. I wish I had! Park: 10+, driver: 10, guide: no idea!

Rushed Tour

We were passed around 4 different people, as groups from different tour operator were being merged. Departure took place an hour late. As a result, time at the lakes was cut short by an hour and it felt very rushed. Would not repeat this. The only good thing was that our tour guide was friendly.
