Overview

Head out to the Seven Sisters, a group of chalk sea cliffs on the coast of East Sussex, with this small-group boat tour. You'll not only get the chance to see the beautiful cliffs, but you'll also receive a lesson in the history of smuggling in the area from your guide, a descendant of smugglers himself.

I visited Seven Sisters many years ago from the top of the cliff. My parents wanted to see white cliffs and I was lucky to find Marverick boat trip to Seven Sisters. Trip was spectacular. Amanda was so informative and professional. My parents are 80 years old and they felt very comfortable. Views were unforgettable. I can highly recommend Maverick boat trip to Seven Sisters. Thank you.

This was so much fun! Our tour guide was great and it was only us and two other people so it felt very intimate and we were able to learn a lot. Our tour guide gave us some recommendations for stuff to do near by and told us all of the stories. On the way back we listened to music and just great vibes.

My wife and I took the boat trip to see the Seven Sisters. It was glorious. We got several great views approaching the cliffs and got to see them in all their majesty. The views were stunning. We also learned about Seaford history and we saw a seal. Our captain was Sarah. She was wonderful - quite knowledgeable about Seaford. The trip was about 90 minutes which was the perfect amount of time. Highly recommended.

Really good experience through the sea overlooking seven sisters and our captain Sarah is very humble, funny, knowledgeable kept the spirits up during the whole trip. We loved her stories, especially our kids Will keep talking about whole Experience all day while we are walking over with the sisters would highly recommend Maverick boat rides especially Sarah as your guide.

The view onto the steep chalk cliffs from the sea towards the coast is even more beautiful than being on the beach just beside the cliffs. The tour is very relaxed and our tour guide Sarah was extremely nice and entertaining!

The tour and guide were fantastic. We learned a lot of local history and saw some amazing sights! I just recommend you wait a little later in the year as it was very cold! But the boat has very nice blankets that we were able to wrap up in!

It was fantastic to see the Seven Sisters from the water. More detail and a few more sites to see on the tour would be worthwhile, or otherwise frame it as a boat ride over to the Seven Sisters only. However, we really liked our tour guide and the boat was first class.

Hi Alanna Thank you for your review I'm pleased you enjoyed the boat and our tour guide. We have 3 main stops on our Seven Sisters tour and our skippers chat about their own local knowledge of the area. We are all from East Sussex and have grown up here our whole lives. At the start of the tour our skippers mention we aren't tour guides however we love to share our passion and local knowledge we've learnt throughout growing up here. Plus our own personal experiences. Travelling along the coast it's impossible to miss any sites along the way and you see everything from Newhaven to the Seven Sisters Cliffs. The journey to the Seven Sisters would only take 20 mins however because we stop and chat about local stories along the way this makes the trip 1.5hours. We apologise you feel you didn't receive enough detail on the trip and feel disappointed it only deserved a 3 star review. We hope to change your view if you were to visit again. Thank you Sarah

Our guide Lee was AMAZING! He was very knowledgeable about the entire area. He even played the BEST music on our way back to shore. We had so much fun and the cliffs were stunning.

Wonderful experience! Gorgeous cliffs, very friendly guides, learned about history and films, some music on the way back. Didn't see any wildlife besides birds, but the guides were constantly on the lookout and the scenery was just stunning. Well worth the price!!

We absolutely loved this trip with Sarah. We took our 2 little ones (6 and 3) and all had a fantastic time. We loved hearing all about the history, getting to take a swim but best of all Indie the dog! Would 100% recommend

Great tour of the Seven Sisters and surrounding coast

Excellent trip with the very knowledgeable Paul and his gorgeous doggo Indie. Maverick Boat Adventures feels like a personal tour because the boat is small and intimate. Paul knows a lot about the local area and stops often to explain features of the landscape as well as the local wildlife population. Definitely recommend booking if you're in the area.
