Tour guide and Driver were wonderful. Weather was unbearable. It was too hot to enjoy. Site was magnificent just wish it was cooler so we could have enjoyed more.

The tour was really good, very informative and well managed by the tour guides! The lunch was small portions, and would recommend bringing your own if you have dietary requirements. The logistics of the start and end of the day were not well managed - the bus arrived late with no communications, and the day ended much later than communicated.
Very well organised tour with a knowledgeable, albeit not very engaging, tour leader. Not a lot of time spent in Pompeii & the Pompeii gift shop, which was disappointing, but loved the free time in Ercolano. Lunch was not all that great. There were options, but the pasta dish was too salty & the chicken on the salad was bland.
Wonderful guide, very informative and friendly. Driver was obnoxious, took calls while driving and thus drove one1 handed on dangerous roads, and actually walked off the bus in the middle of the return to smoke. He slso just announced he had an appointment and was leaving, telling us to wait on the bus until a new driver showed up. The tour guide was almost in tears. I strongly suggest he not be used again.
Two must see places to visit - our guide was very knowledgeable and energetic- our coach driver tackled the tricky roads will local knowledge and skill !
Great trip. Pickup was in a convenient position in Sorrento, tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Lunch was good quality. Overall a great trip and value for money.
This was well worth the price. We started the morning in Herculaneum. It was very quite and it was easily navigated. We had a great lunch. Spent the afternoon in pompeii, it wasn't as busy as I would have expected. It was fantastic seeing the sights and our tour guide Tony was very knowledge and ensure we saw the main sights in both locations. The bus was very comfy and the driver was superb, cold bottled water was available to buy on the bus. I would recommend this trip if you want to visit these locations.

We had an excellent guide and the coach was top class. Well worth the money made especially memorable because of the enthusiasm of the guide. The meal provided as part of the tour was much better than expected in a comfortable restaurant.

Good basic guide of Pompeii, it would take days to do fully. Meal is a set meal, maybe not for everyone, but good quality. Herculaneum I had seen before & I enjoyed more, and it more manageable, lots of uneven areas and steps, so U need to be realistic and know Ur fit enough to do a full day. Guide was friendly & informative, one thing I would stress, once in Pompeii, there are no toilets or very far apart, if U stuff from IBS like me, U need to prepare.
The in-depth knowledge and experience of tour guide, Laura, made the excursion. Highly recommend!

We had a really great day thanks to the knowledge and experience of our guide, Ionica! I don't believe you can do Pompeii or Herculean without a tour guide if you want to fully understand the history behind Vesuvius and the two cities. The lunch stop was really good, nice food and wine included. Two things for consideration... Firstly, it is an early start so be aware of the pick up points, we were a fair distance from the nearest pick up point and it cost us an extra €40 in a taxi to make sure that we'd be there on time! Secondly, make sure you wear appropriate footwear. The roads around the cities are very uneven and could be slippery in places. It's a tour not to be missed, but be prepared for a lot of walking on uneven terrain

Great historical overview of both sites. Interesting to learn they were both seaside towns, now miles from the seaside. Lots of interesting information from the guides. Both places were very hot, so take water.
Great day in very hot conditions, expertly managed by our guide Cynthia who looked after us all day. Probably not a trip for very young people but fantastic to see the sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum.

Wonderful tour guide! Desire. Took us to all of the most important sights and gave us so much insight! Friendly, pleasant, knowledgeable and spoke English well!
Great experience learned a lot. Skip the line was worth it! Herculaneum was a suprising gem. Was along say but not too tiring
Did not see some of the main sites so was a little disappointed especially when visiting Her ulaneum when the guide rushed us and did not take us to the part all travellers were upset about - the area where the skeletons were
We enjoyed seeing both sites. Nice smaller group, informative guide who made a point of keeping a head count
Lunch was just ok but tasty.
Of all the tours we've taken, these headsets were the least effective. They are a one piece unit that did not stay on many peoples' ear and the reception is spotty and not long range.
The slights were good but the communication for pick up was very poor! When it turned up it was a TUI tour and it’s much cheaper through them!
The food was horrendous
The guide was very knowledgeable but it was a lot of information that didn’t seem necessary.
Both Pompeii and Herculanium were very interesting. Good guide who interpreted and explained the surroundings as we moved through each area,

We thought both Pompeii and Herculaneum were amazing. ‘Tony’ our guide was friendly and approachable. He looked after us well. Coach was on time and comfortable. Simple Italian meal with wine/beer/soft drink was very welcome.
We were I able to go because the bus left without us! The time changed and they sent an email we did not receive as we were on a ship. Tried to reschedule but they would not. Do not recommend this tour company at all. Disappointed that they would not reschedule and Viator would not help at all.🤔

Both sites are worth a visit we had a great day, the tour guide was excellent he explained everything as we went along showing things that you wouldn't notice on your own, the only downfall was the time I think it would be best to spend a whole day at pompeii and a couple more extra hours at herculaneum as there is lots to see.

This tour was great because it started with Pompeii to walk you through the structure and history. Followed by Herculaneum where the tour focused on culture and what life was like. Alex our tour guide was great. He was knowledgeable and had a sense of humor. The lunch was delicious. It's hot though and not a ton of shade so be prepared.
The tour was excellent, Antonio the guide was excellent too. He was very knowledgeable and friendly.
