If you want to truly discover Sorrento rather than just walk through it, you absolutely have to take this walking tour. A massive part of what made it so unforgettable was our incredible guide, Simone!
From the very beginning, Simone’s energy and enthusiasm were completely contagious. She is an exceptionally engaging storyteller who brings the rich history, vibrant culture, and hidden secrets of Sorrento to life. Instead of just rattling off dry dates and facts, she shared fascinating anecdotes and local insights that kept everyone captivated the entire time.
Simone guided us effortlessly through the charming, narrow alleyways, pointing out viewpoints and architectural gems we easily would have missed on our own. She also knew exactly how to pace the tour, keeping it lively, fun, and highly interactive.
Beyond being a wealth of knowledge, Simone is incredibly warm, personable, and passionate about her town. She was more than happy to answer all of our questions and even gave us fantastic, authentic recommendations for local dining to enjoy after the tour.

A really fascinating tour of this beautiful city.
Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable guide - this is the perfect introduction to Sorrento, including Limoncello tasting and a visit to a wonderful traditional inlaid wood producer.
The whole tour was taken at our pace and covered everything we wanted to see.

We spent a lovely afternoon walking with Valeria throughout Sorrento. She is an excellent tour guide and made the experience personal to what we wanted to see and do. We walked through many areas of the city and she shared lots of history and colorful interesting stories about the city. She also recommended restaurants and specific shopping locations for the items we were most interested in. We went to dinner after the tour to one of her recommended restaurants and it was fantastic!

Our guide, Vins, was great. Having lived all his life in Sorrento there wasn’t much he didn’t know about the place. We saw lots of interesting things and learned a lot about the history of the place. Vins’ English was perfect. We had a great two way dialogue and even some jokes. All of our questions were answered knowledgeably. If you really want to get a feel for Sorrento and understand some of its history, this is the way to do it. After the tour Vins followed up with a list of recommendations for restaurants ice cream parlours and places to visit. I have done a lot of walking tours like this, in various places around the world, and this was one of the best

Simona is an excellent and knowledgeable guide, we enjoyed greatly our walk in Sorrento with her. We are interested in history and she told us a lot of local history and also present day. She linked a few family stories to the sights and things we saw which made the tour even more engaging and fun. Lemons and limoncello spirit are in Sorrento the thing nowdays and visit to the lemon garden and limoncello spirit manufacturing place gave us insights to the local gardening and limoncello recipes. We highly recommend the tour and Simone as a guide if you are interested to know about the place you are visiting.
