A bike tour along the panoramic roads of the Sorrento Peninsula towards the territory of Massa Lubrense. The route winds through the olive and lemon trees typical of our territory. We will ride surrounded by greenery and the sounds of nature, away from the chaos and typical tourist routes. During the tour we will stop at “Il Convento”, a farm and surrounded by a vast lemon grove that has made the preservation of the traditions of the territory its strength. Here we will stop to taste one of the symbolic products of the Sorrento peninsula, limoncello, rigorously prepared with Sorrento IGP lemon following the traditional recipe. Our e-bike tour will start from the Vesuvius valley which we will reach with our van after picking up the participants at the hotel. We will pedal along the road* that climbs up to the crater immersed in the characteristic and lush vegetation of Vesuvius in an atmosphere of incomparable charm and enjoying a breathtaking view of the valley below. As we get closer to the top the vegetation will become more and more barren until it disappears completely. Once we reach the top, we will leave the e-bikes and continue on foot to the crater. While you enjoy a panoramic walk along the entire perimeter of the crater, the guides of the National Park will be happy, upon your request, to talk to you about the geology, flora and fauna of Vesuvius, its history and the role it still has in the life of the population who lives on its slopes. After the departure from Sorrento, we will head towards Meta from where we will proceed for 5 km uphill towards the Colli di San Pietro and the coastal highway 163 in the direction of the Amalfi Coast. The first part of the highway is completely downhill, a road full of curves and breathtaking views. It will be difficult not to linger several times for some souvenir photos. Before reaching Positano, we will have to climb a 1.5 km climb, but we will not feel the effort, taken by the enthusiasm to reach the coastal pearl where we will stop briefly after which we will return to Sorrento. We will cycle along some of the oldest and most characteristic paths of Sorrento until we reach the center of Massa Lubrense, where we will begin a journey of narrow streets in direct contact with nature. After a brief stop for a few photos, the tour will go at the oil factory where we will be welcomed with a tasting of Campania PDO extravirgin olive oil and typical local products. Starting from Sorrento towards Meta, we will cross some small towns on the Sorrento peninsula, Sant’Agnello and Piano di Sorrento. Once in Meta, we will encounter the first roughness of the day: a 5 km climb at 4-5% slope that will lead us to the brow of the Teresinella towards the beginning of State Road 163 in the direction of Amalfi. From here we will dive, among dozens and dozens of curves, on the Amalfi coast, crossing the famous towns of Positano and Praiano, until we reach the Cathedral of Amalfi. During the journey we will all face ups and downs, each of 2-3 km with slopes between 4 and 5%, and we will travel for 20 km along the coast overlooking the Gulf of Salerno. Once in Amalfi, we will make a brief stop in the coastal town between the traditional alleys and the majestic Cathedral of Sant’Andrea. After the stop we will return to Sorrento retracing the same route as the first leg. Our Bike Tour will end in Sorrento after about 60 km.

We will travel about 3 km, but immediately after the descent of this first climb we will turn right to take the municipal road that will take us to the first ramps of the Lattari Mountains.
