This excursion was one of the highlights of our recent Norway cruise. We wanted to see as much of the area as possible, and there simply isn’t another excursion—whether through the cruise line or Viator—that offers the same flexibility and access.
While a private guide is certainly an investment, having Myla as our guide was absolutely worth it. For a family of four, the cost was not dramatically different from some of the cruise excursions, yet the experience was far more personalized. We were among the first passengers off the ship, and Myla was waiting for us, taking us to our first destination within minutes.
Briksdal Glacier is incredibly popular, but thanks to Myla’s planning, she had arranged one of the “troll cars” for us before the tour buses arrived, allowing us to enjoy the area without the crowds. Along the way, she also stopped at several beautiful scenic locations that we would never have discovered on our own before continuing on to the Loen Skylift.
Most importantly, I cannot say enough about how wonderful Myla was with our family, including our two young children. She was knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and genuinely invested in making sure we had an unforgettable day. If you want to maximize your time in this spectacular region, I highly recommend this tour

We were fortunate enough to have Mia as a tour guide again. She is wonderful and the private tour is a way to go. You avoid the crowds and we were able to get into places that buses cannot go. She introduced us to some local food and traditions And the pictures are amazing. Thank you Mia.
