Your private tour begins with pickup in Siem Reap for the drive to Sambor Prei Kuk in Cambodia’s Kampong Thom province. Enjoy views along the way, and stop at a local market and an old bridge.

The archaeological ruins of the complex, built by King Citrasena Mahendravarman of Funan, encompass 52 temples, some of which have collapsed and been covered by dirt. Others are in fairly good condition, while nature devoured some, causing them to be overgrown by trees, a fascinating sight.

You have about three hours to explore the temple ruins of Sambor Prei Kuk with your guide, who provides information about each site. Make sure to dress conservatively as appropriate for visiting the temple.
