In start was delay and problem. The boss soleved fast and flexible. The guide was exelent and told us a lot of interesting information.

We had visited before so it was good to revisit the highlights. However 15 years on we found the heat less easy to deal with. We had thought that the cost of the meal was included. Unfortunately we were not able to do the sunset because of the weather. Both driver and guide (Joe) were mindful of my mobility issues.

This was a great way to return for a second visit to the Angkor Historical Park . With Mr Horm as our guide and Mr E as our driver, we were able to learn more about the temple sites and do it at our own pace. We’d recommend this tour to anyone wanting to concentrate on their own areas of interest.

Still awsome to visit. Our guide Sith was very knowledgeble. Take lots of water and stamina, some of temples are tall with steep steps

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Tour Guide Rein Horn. He was very knowledgeable of the entire Angkor complex. He was very professional and had a great sense of humour. He took a number of photos for us and was very patient with all of our photo taking throughout the day.

Had à Great tour with our private guide. It Washington however very tiring and we decided against the sunset part as it involved à further climb. The tour was amazing and our guide gave us alot of information.

Thank you for our tour guide. I have traveled to several countries and been on many tours, many through Viator, and I can honestly say that our tour guide was the best I have had. He was so friendly, very patient with us (my mother is in her late 60s and we went during the dry season so the heat was oppressive at times), he took photographs that look like a professional took them, and he was such a pleasure to have on the tour. The tour would have not been the same without him. The tour itself was obviously stunning with the sights and I would highly recommend the tour to anyone. I am mainly writting this review so Viator is aware that this particular tour guide should be booked often. Thank you for a memorable experience.

Our guide, Mr Wooti, was very knowledgeable and gave detailed explanation to our inquiries. Also, he was patient and allowed us enough time to enjoy and immerse ourselves in the wonder that is Angkor Wat.
A must visit for all tourist. The temples were very unique and beautiful even though they were already in ruins. The sunset was not clear due to some clouds on the horizon yet this did not diminish our experience with the place.

Our guide mr san was the rudest, most unpleasant man you could wish for. I arrived in reception in long trousers and a tee shirt with a pashmina. He looked at me and said I couldnt wear that as pashminas werent acceptable and told me to go and put a tee shirt on with long sleeves. My sister stayed with him and before he had even given us his name he said I am an excellent guide and my customers give me 300 dollar tips not a good start.
He talked about money the whole time, commenting that as we were only a group of 3 and not a large tour he would miss out on tips.
He refused to take pictures of us even though at the start he said he showed the national geographic where to take their photos of the temple. Luckily we watched other guides and copied their best spots for photo opportunities. He was constantly in a rush and did not like us taking our time, as soon as we caught him up he was off again.
He told us that people from wales where we are from were very kind and had sponsored him through university and sent him money. He asked if I believed in karma and said I should try it and be nice to someone!
His knowledge of the temples was extremely poor and pointed out some carvings everywhere we went and told us they were a fish or elephant or whatever they were which was blatantly obvious. He did not give us any history and we had to listen to other guides as ours had walked off. I asked him if he had any pictures of how the temples looked and he said I could buy a book from him for 200 dollars. I replied I dont think so and he replied why you are rich!!
To top it all he wanted to drop us back to our hotel at 2.30. I pointed out that it was a sunset tour and he said so what is the plan then? I said to just drop us of at our hotel and we would get a Tuk tuk back to Angkor wat for sunset viewing. I think he heard us talking about trip adviser etc in the car and reluctantly offered to pick us up again for sunset viewing. I really didnt want to go back with him but we had already paid for this trip so did go with him.
Angkor wat and the temples were amazing but this guide totally ruined the day. Im sure he was not qualified Ive heard you can buy your guiding qualifications here
The trip could have been amazing, I would recommend you ask specifically not to have this guide.

Having a private tour gave my son and I the flexibility to see what we were most interested in seeing. It was really hot and humid, so we opted to skip staying until sunset. Loved our guide and driver!

The guide was trying to cut the tour short and we had to pay for our own lunch

This was an amazing tour! Our guide Sam was so knowledgable and spoke very good English so we could really converse. The van was big and comfortable. Our driver Sol was great and always there to pick up us promptly. I have walking issues and Sam was so patient and always helping me on the stairs and finding me shade as it was very hot! They supplied cold water whenever we got in the car and the air conditioning was a life saver! I highly recommend this tour. You see and learn so much about the temples, I was too tired and opted out of the sunset on the peak but had fantastic day and will never forget this amazing experience!

Our tour guide was Mr Se Vannsak and he was the best tour guide we've had in the 7 tours we booked on our SE Asian vacation. He was incredibly knowledgeable on Angkor and the entire Cambodian history from that period to the present.
What makes him exceptional is his ability to tell the history of Angkor in more of a story telling way instead of just a rehearsed set of facts from a brochure like other guides. His English was also very good and we had no problems understanding him at all.
Recommendation: While going over the day's itinerary at the beginning of the tour, make sure you will be getting the sunset viewing. Our tour ended before sunset but I was ok with that since it had already been a long and hot day with my elderly parents and very young kids. Also, the tour is very common there are two circuits for the main Angkor site and provided by a whole lot of tour companies so you will find many cheaper options with the exact same itinerary in Siem Reap. But ultimately I felt ok with paying more since I found out more about how Viator screens out bad tour companies through its reviews, so you have a much higher chance with Viator of getting an excellent tour guide as opposed to mediocre one.

Our tour guide was Ly. He was excellent. He recommended a different walking route to avoid the large tour bus crowds. He would also suggest where the best photos can be taken. Even when we had to queue 45 mins? to visit the top of Angkor Wat, he stood by and presented on other interesting facts regarding the park. Speaks excellent English. The tour was about 7 hrs long, and we were exhausted after all the climbing, hence the duration was just right. Water and wet towels were offered throughout. The included lunch was decent and not any worse than can be expected from such included meals.
I reduced the review by a star as our original trip the day before had to be postponed at the last minute due to scheduling issues. I had to call the agency Bravo Indochina to find this out only when the tour guide did not turn up at the appointed time, instead of the agency either calling the hotel or myself to inform us. This was my main issue. The tour agency is located in Vietnam, so calling the agency incurred overseas call charges. The tour agency provided a plausible explanation and offered to start the original trip at a later time 1 1/2 hrs later which I declined not wanting to wait, and instead asked for a postponement to the following day, which the company duly arranged for.
The voucher on Viator will also not list the hotel that you would have already stated when first signing up for the trip. That left me worried as to whether the tour agency had knowledge of my hotel or not. Viator could improve the layout of the voucher to included these details. Viator should also included a local number for all tour agencies, or at least demand that their operators do so.
Do note that the trip does not include entrance fees to the park which is at US37 per person.

Amazing tour and well worth the guide. Narayan was super knowledgeable and gave a lot of valuable insight. The trip was so amazing song thanks to him. Bring comfortable hiking shoes and sunscreen. Other than that book it. It's really awesome.

Amazing, Our guide Khis was knowledgeable and helpful, Angkor Wat was stunning and the real jewel in the crown to our visit to Angkor.

The full day tour was executed as promised .The vehicle provided was excellent, the driver also was good and the included lunch too was a decent fare. But,our tour guide Savoun was a total failure. He seemed to be least interested in educating us on the sites visited, except for giving us just a couple of broad outlines.Always being occupied on his mobile,we had to literally pull him up for refusing to explain any details about the places like the other tour guides were enthusiastically doing. He seemed to be only interested in luring us into the trap of visiting a gem and silk factory, which was not at all a part of the day's program.Having failed to woo us despite his repeated efforts,he lost interest in us totally and just accompanied us listlessly.
Consequently,he tried to alter the program by finishing off the post lunch visit to Angkor Wat by hurriedly showing us around without any proper explanations and trying to get rid of us after lunch, though the program included a sunset viewing at Pre Rup temple. When we reminded him of it,he feigned total ignorance and pretended not to pay heed to it.It was only when we showed him the program did he relent to take us there. But,we didn't wait to view the sunset there, because we were totally exhausted due to the extreme heat.
We have returned only with pics of the sites. The failure of the guide to give us a detailed explanation proved to be the dampener on our excitement ,especially after having thought that the Viator guide would be a capable one.And we specially chose Viator with the belief that their guides would be knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We were sadly mistaken.

The Angkor temples are grand and spectacular and it was a fantastic visit! The trip went without a hitch and were well taken care of by our guide and driver.
Steven D, Oct 2017
Tour was rushed, started at 8 and ended by 2......even though I paid for sunset viewing I think my tour was cut short because I wouldn't agree to an overpriced second day. I did get to see the temples but would not have taken this tour if I knew what I was in for.
Michelle H, Oct 2017
Amazing tour of the Ta Prohm, Bayon and Angkor Wat temples. Savoum was our tour guide and explained to us the temples history. Lunch was great. Highly recommended.
Ross_R, Oct 2017
Very rushed, the guide actually says he's bored with the temples. Ankor Thom skipped entirely. Was run through it all by 11am, left to have lunch by myself. Insisted repeatedly I visit his silk shop for souvenirs yet turned out to be more expensive than the silk farm I said I was going to. Not happy

The tour guide never showed up! Don't book this tour.
Steve_B, Sep 2017
I didn't receive what I had booked. It wasn't private since another person joined the tour. It wasn't a fun
Ll-day and we didn't receive a sunset viewing since the tour finished at 1:30pm.
Peter F, Sep 2017
We had a great time, very informative guide Mr Ouen and great driver. Excellent lunch and ice cold water throughout the hot day. We had to be persistent to view the sunset, as the guides predictions were not good due to the weather and length of queue , but actually it turned out to be stunning and the queue line was very short. Overall a great day

We had a fantastic day at Angkor Wat. The tour guide was friendly and well informed. He answered all questions.
We also enjoyed the lunch which was beyond expectations.

I was with my mother and aunt, who are both in their 80s the guide Savoun and driver Hong were very patient and helped my mum a lot especially in climbing up and down the steps and walkways! We managed to visit Bayon, Ta Prohm Tomb Raider and of course, Angkor Wat. At Ta Prohm, because there was already a huge crowd at the entrance, the guide actually took us on a reverse route so that we don't have to jostle with the crowds! Because there's a long distance to walk in order to reach the gardens surrounding Angkor Wat, the guide spoke to the gatekeepers so that we could drive right though almost to the steps leading up to Angkor Wat. Kudos to the guide and driver!

Mr Lucky was a wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. He took us at our own pace and we had plenty of free time and flexibility. The food was delicious and we got to see and hear about the temples in a really relaxed way. Unfortunately we didn't get to see the sunset because of the weather.

We've always dreamed of seeing Angkor Wat and this tour proved are dreams were well-founded! Nino, our very professional guide, was full of fascinating information and personal anecdotes that added life to this incredible experience. I must add that when my 77 year old brother felt some discomfort and fatigue, Nino personally helped him walk and climb the stairs and we are very grateful for that personal touch. I cannot say enough about the temple complex other than - I MUST AND WILL BE BACK!

Our guide Mickey is by far the best tour guide / photographer I've ever seen in the 20 years of touring around the world.. Definitely recommended!
