Sunset on the Lake

The floating village and lake tour with sunset is the highlight of this trip. The jeep tour part is really cool (real US army classic jeep) and the visits to farms show you what life is like for the Cambodian people. Our guide Bunsom was very knowledgeable.

We have done several tours over our week stay in Siem Reap, I feel this gave us our best exposure to more authentic life here. Great guide was so eager to teach us. Very funny as well. While the pictures for tour didn't match what we did, we had a great experience. Would happily do again.

The highlight of my trip. Our guide was brilliant- full of knowledge and local insight. The trip was serene and uplifting on many levels. The sunset on the Tonle sap cannot be replicated anywhere. Just awesome!

The experience was outstanding. The tour guide and drivers were knowledgeable, professional, polite, and genuinely concerned that we enjoy our experience. The only drawback and I’m not sure why or what happened but the local snacks and cold beer ended up being ruffles potato chips and red wine. I very much enjoyed the wine.

Bunsom was a lovely guide - we had an excellent time exploring some of the nearby farms to Siem Reap and then going out on the water to see the floating village. A Great Experience

Our guide Thanut and driver Won arrived puntually at our hotel to pick us up. The drive through the countryside was very nice thanks to the excellent skills of our driver. It was very interesting to see some of the local family farms including small scale rice wine production and mushroom production. Thanut is very knowledgeable and was amazing at explaining how the various products were made and highlighted the fact that none of the raw materials used by the local farmers went to waste. The practices were very sustainable. Seeing the Chong Kneas Floating Village and learning a bit about the culture of the residents was a very unique experience. Observing the sunset with great snacks and a bottle of wine was the perfect end to the afternoon. It was clear to see that Thanut takes pride in his work as a professional guide. He was fantastic.

We had a great time on this tour and it's so cool to do it in a jeep. Despite my own confusion about the pick-up point causing slight delay there was no hassle and Marco (our driver) and August (our guide) were welcoming and friendly. Travelling through the villages and countryside let you get a feel for the country and the people living there. The boat ride out on the lake was lovely and the sunset was spectacular. Not too keen on the crocodile farm but it's not for me to pass judgement on how the people live, I wish them well. Lovely snacks on the floating restaurant and a nice glass of wine. All round a lovely trip out and back. Highly recommend this tour.

The most exciting wild tour in Cambodia

We had an extremely exciting and dinamic jeep tour with Net, the most lovely, friendly and interactive tour guide we ever had. From aboriginal rice and mushroom fields through the amazing fishing community and their village build upon the channel until the wonderful sunset over Tonle Sap. We gave toys to local children, even tasted crocodile meat!:) It was a fascinating and unforgettable day, thanks to Net the lovely tour guide.

Amazing!! Onze gids Lyna en degene die ons rond reed waren zo lief en legden alles heel goed en rustig uit. Geweldig om de lokale boerderijen te bezoeken en kennis te maken met de lokale bevolking. Een van ons meest memorabele trips.
