Great tour, sunrise and sunset. The few hours rest back at our hotel in between was good (approx.10.30am-3pm) The driver was very professional and friendly. Tour Guide Samnang is a lovely person and provided alot of information, and answered all of our questions. Highly recommend.

Our Group of 11 had a wonderful and unforgettable experience starting with sunrise at Angkor Wat and finishing with sunset at Angkor Thom. Our Tour Guide Bunpheng was just a pleasure to be with all day from very early in the morning to late in the afternoon. His knowledge of Angkor, it's history and culture, really enhanced our experience and his experience was evident as we always found ourselves away from the height of the crowds and able to explore in a less crowded environment. The Tour is extremely well paced, and the midday break back at the Hotel was perfectly timed. Overall, just a wonderful experience with and excellent Tour Guide.

One of the best tours we had. Our tour guide Peng was very knowledgeable about the history of Angkorwat and temples. He picked us up for the sunrise tour and showed us around in the morning. He was very patient and took great pics as well. We then came back to the hotel in the afternoon. He then picked us again for the sunset tour. We decided to go see other temples which he then took us and finished with the sunset. He even dropped us off at the main market for our request. Highly recommend

Me and my husband had a great together with our guide- Samnang and our driver. Both were very attentive and made our day trip wonderful. Samnang was funny and knowledgable about Cambodian history and Angkor temples- we learned a lot from him. Would take this tour again!

We had a good tour. Our guide Bunpheng was really knowledgeable, interesting and fun. The break in the middle of the day was very much needed after the first stint as it was a 04:30 start. It was really good visiting several different temples / areas. If time is short (we had 1.5days) this is an ideal tour for getting as much in as possible.

This tour was excellent from start to finish, and i would highly recommend, we were collected from our hotel by Samorn our driver and Nang our guide. Both were very courteous and polite. Samorn could not do enough for us everytime we came back to the car there was a fresh cold bottle of water and an ice cold towell waiting which were greatly appreciated. Our guide Nang, in short was just brilliant, very knowledgeable and spoke perfect English and could not do enough for us even at times being our own personal photographer.

My tour guide Samnang took me through all of the most important temple sites, as well as into some hidden photo spots and historical places that many may not know about. If I had not been with him I would not have learned anything about Angkor nor would I have had half the experience I did.

The Ankgor Wat all day tour from sunrise to sunset was outstanding. The original guide was replaced by another guide. His name was Leif (sp). Leif met us at our hotel before sunrise. Recommend getting your tickets for Angkor online as it is convenient to not have to stand in line before sunrise for tickets. He was very good and informative. We learned quite a bit about all the places we saw (Ankgor Wat, Ankgor Thom, Bayon, and other treasures) and also the history of the Khmer and Cambodian empire . Very polite and considerate, as were all the Cambodians we met. Highly recommend this tour.

I thought reviews were meant to help fellow travellers but in Cambodia, it seems reviews are necessary for the very survival of tour guides! I decided to review all the 4 tours I took in Cambodia, but I hope tour companies realize that it's not possible that every tourist reviews all the tours, and don't make it almost mandatory for guides to get positive reviews. It's simply not sustainable and not fair to the guides or the tourists.
That said, this was my first tour in Siem reap and was the most well-organized. The tour company contacted me over Whatsapp well in advance and confirmed the pick up time and location. They also told me I had to buy the pass to visit Angkor Wat on my own so I was fully prepared with everything and it was quite stress-free.
The guide, Sophal, was on time and he explained the history and told the stories very well . I felt a bit light headed in the morning and had to sit down quite a few times. He was very patient with me. After Angkor Wat and a couple of other temples, we go back to the hotel and get picked up again at around 2.30/3.00pm for the sunset tour. The sunset tour was really enjoyable - again, I visited quite a few temples and they were much less crowded than the ones I visited in the morning.
If it's just for the guide and the way the tour was managed, I'd definitely give it 5 stars but I believe the rating is for the whole experience. I have removed one star only because it was VERY crowded during the sunrise tour and there was quite bit of litter around. I do realize I'm also a tourist and hence part of the 'crowd', but it does affect the experience. There were so many people walking around with their phone-torches and talking loudly which was quite distracting and ruined the otherwise serene night.
I hope the people here realize sooner than later how big of a put off litter can be (it is, at least for me), and reduce the use of plastic water bottles, one time use wet towels etc., before it's too late. And for the amount they charge for the entry (37 USD for 1 day), I think they should do a better job of keeping the place litter-free.
I definitely recommend the tour though. It's something you have to do if you are in Siem Reap. And this tour gives the best value, covering sunrise and sunset, and is a private tour too.

Bunpengh was a tremendous guide and looked after us for our day visiting the temples
Punctual pick up and contact in advance to ensure no problems on the day
His English was very good and communicated to us the history of the temples visited plus on Cambodia ,very knowledgeable
Our air conditioned van was great and the driver ensured we were well watered and nice cold towel on each return back to the van
Bunpengh was also great photographer showing us few tricks and gladly took photos of us

It was completely amazing to see Angkor Wat at sunrise. My tour guide Pheng knew of a fantastic spot to see a full view of the temple at dawn. Further, he was chatty and knowledgable about many aspects of the temple. He was able to tell the story of Cambodia's ancient history and further able to answer all the questions I had. He showed me many different temples and took some great photos of me too. If you want a fantastic tour, he is the one to guide you.

The temples are amazing and this tour was a great way to experience them. Our guide Sophat took very good care of us - he was professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. We were driven in a nice clean SUV and we were always offered cold water and cold wet towels at every break in the tour. Overall, we felt like we experienced these amazing temples in the care of a professional and thoughtful guide.

It was an absolutely marvellous experience with the right break-up of points of interest to see. Felt privileged to get a very knowledgeable guide who started life as a monk! Very well versed with Hindu and Buddhist scriptures and related all the wall carvings to names and instances in the holy scriptures.

Bunpheng Chan was our private tour guide for exploring Angkor Wat and other temples during our perfect day in Siem Reap! He communicated wonderfully with us prior to our tour pickup so we were prepared, during our tour providing lots of education, and after our tour answering any of my follow-up questions and sharing additional photos he had taken. It was wonderful having such a knowledgeable guide with us as we explored the many historic temples and he planned our day out perfectly! Sunrise at Ankgor Wat was ideal and Bunpheng took us to parts of the complex where we were away from the crowds and able to get great pictures to remember it all. There are so many temples in Siem Reap and our tour was perfect for seeing multiple highlights of them. This part of the world can be very hot, so having the mid-day break back at our hotel where we had our lunch, siesta, and a massage was ideal before Bumpheng picked us back up promptly at 3 PM to see additional amazing sites concluding with a lovely sunset overlooking the water at Angkor Thom. This was truly a perfect day in Siem Reap from start to finish; thank you again!

My husband and I took this tour a few days ago with Mr. Sear as our guide and he was probably one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had. We chose it because we got to experience sunrise and sunset and cover a lot of content in one day. There is a lot of walking and we got to see everything we wanted plus more. The best part of this tour was our guide. Mr. Sear’s English was excellent and his knowledge of Angkor and Khmer history was incredible. He knew so many details and on the few questions he didn’t know, he admitted it and looked up the information. He’s very well read and you can tell he’s very passionate about Angkor and Cambodian history. He and our driver made this tour wonderful. They never rushed us, even if we were slow and always had cold water for us between temples. As a bonus, Mr. Sear is a great photographer and took many great pictures of us! I recommend this tour for anyone, they will take care of you.

I booked a private sunrise and sunset tour and it was one of the best experiences. my tour guide spoke perfect english and knew how to navigate away from
the crowd while still enjoying the full experience. This was the only tour that included a lunch break back at your hotel which is important because going from sunrise to sunset is just too long of a day in the heat. I would say this was a 5 star experience and highly recommended!

We did the sunrise and sunset private tour and it was very enjoyable. Our tour guide Bunpeng (sp) was very informative and funny. His happy attitude made for a fun experience. We got up early and he took us to see several different and beautiful views of Angkor Wat during sunrise. Afterwards we explored the temple itself and learned about many different aspects from the history to the architecture. Our guide even took many wonderful pictures for us and knew many of the good photo spots. In the afternoon we went to Angkor Thom where we learned a lot about the temple and the many amazing carvings. We finished the day with absolutely wonderful views of the sunset from around the area. Our tour guide was very kind, patient, friendly, and funny. I would highly recommend him and this tour.

There are a lot of options for Angkor Wat tours, but the sunrise and sunset is the way to go. You don’t want to miss sunrise! It’s nice to have the long break before going out again in the afternoon.
Our guide and driver were outstanding. I’m glad we opted for a private tour so we could focus and spend more or less time at certain areas.
I definitely recommend buying your tickets online, it will save time and make it easier in the early morning.

Fantastic tour from beginning to end. Dividing the tour to take advantage of sunrise and sunset is the way to go. It's definitely busy during sunrise but the colors at that time of day are spectacular. In the mid-afternoon, the crowds begin to thin out so you feel like you have more room to explore. It also allowed us time to return to our hotel for lunch and a swim.
Our guide Sear was amazing. He was so knowledgeable about the place and accommodating. We especially loved our conversations about his life and his perspective on modern Cambodia. All in all, an unforgettable experience.
