The temples of Ankor Wat are impressive and majestic and a must see for anyone interested in Hindu-Buddhist history and architecture! However, it is Very easy and Much cheaper to book a guide through or at the hotel. Also when you book a guide try to make sure they really speak english. The guide we had, Sao Vicheth, though well meaning, spoke unintelligible english.
We did have a good lunch at the airconditioned restaurant near Bayon temple.

Great tour to see the major ancient temples. Very efficiently planned and the guide knows all the history well.
One downside is that the guides English can be hard to understand with the local accent.
Also, seems like the quides are pushed to have us visit a store in an effort to have us spend money. Not cool in our view

Very hot and humid many steps taken. Worth every step taken to see amazing temples and to learn history of Cambodia. Guide was full of information and made the tour well worth taking.

Mr Sao was a great host as was his driver. A very kind, knowledgeable man who wanted to ensure everyone had a good experience. And... The tour was very good and you see all the big spots. It was a good use of the day and seeing Angkor Wat.
If you can find Mr Sao, definitely book him (and treat him well, he works hard).

We loved our tour. It was my 19-year old daughter and me. Our guide Sao Vicheth helped make our day magical. He went at our pace and described many interesting aspects of the temples. He also took lots of pictures for us to keep for memories and share with our family and friends. The temples are magnificent. We also enjoyed a lovely lunch overlooking a lake (not included in the price of the tour but such a wonderful spot). Driver Chorn was also excellent. Thank you to our guide Vicheth and our driver for making it a wonderful day that we will always cherish.

Our guide Chen was amazing. He showed us so many things. He was really interesting. Angkor Wat is amazing and the surroundings temples. The lake with water lilies is beautiful. We went to a nice restaurant the food was hot and good..
Every time we got back in the car there was another bottle of water and some iced flannels with lemongrass to cook us down.
The day went far too quickly.
Chen helped us get our entrance ticket and showed us where the clean and free bathrooms were.

We are four women of a certain age, including one who uses a cane. Chen was OUTSTANDING as our Angkor Wat guide! He gave us amazing details and anticipated terrain and steps, both of which are tricky there. He even took us to the market, at our request, since we wanted to buy souvenirs. His English was excellent and the made the amazing (and hot!) day even better.

We had such an incredible experience touring Angkor Wat and nearby temples with Sim. He was an excellent guide with a wealth of knowledge on Cambodian history and culture, as well as a great sense of humor (and wonderful photography skills!). The hotel pickup and drop-off made everything convenient, and we had time to visit a recommended local restaurant for lunch. Free *cold* water and towels in between excursions were a nice, very appreciated perk.

This is the tour to do if you only have one day to visit the temples. It hits all the major sites and we toured Angkor Wat in the afternoon so although it was hot, there was hardly anyone there. Also, it was nice to be able to go back to an air conditioned car as we traveled between sites. I considered doing this tour via tuk tuk or open air jeep but we were so glad we had the car.

What a wonderful your weekend had . We travelled with our 11yo and 22yo and have been in the best care of Our guide Sim. sim has been very knowledgeable and kept us entertained and had wonderful stories . We visited all the temples on a very hot day. Sim was attentive to our well being and kept

Our guide Sim Kimhour is excellent in every way - highly knowledgeable and well-organised with a good sense if humour. His English is very good and he could also take excellent photos for us. His driver is also very safe and reliable. It was a great tour of Angkor Thom, Ta Phrom abd Angkor Wat. Even though this is my second visit to these places, it is even better this time because of Mr Sim. Outstanding.

Chen, our guide, was fantastic! Super sweet, and very knowledgeable on many different subjects. Everywhere we turned someone was coming up to him to say hello or give him a on the back. He is clearly well loved and admired by his peers. I can absolutely see why! We felt the same.
Our driver was really great too.
It was SO hot, but each time we got back into the car for another leg of the tour, we were handed a fresh bottle of cold water and a cold lemon scented cloth that felt like heaven. So refreshing! A very nice touch!

I would highly recommend this tour for the first introduction to Angkor Wat. It’s very well-planned and nicely curated. You see all the main temples and get wonderful insights into Cambodia’s rich history and culture, while an air-conditioned car, water, and cold towels are waiting for you after each stop.
