Ponies were adorable!

Carol knows EVERYTHING about Shetland ponies and it was fun to learn from her and pet the ponies. The ride to and from is more like a taxi ride than a tour. The driver was very sweet but didn’t give us much information about the town or countryside we drove thru. We saw in town that rides to the ponies were available for significantly less money, but I don’t think they included Carol’s presentation which was the highlight for sure.

You are quite correct that there are cheaper alternatives, such as our Shetland Pony Express coach trip (also available here on Viator) which is, naturally, a lower cost option for those who don't require the convenience of a private trip. Pleasant tour

Driver was pleasant and informative. The van was comfortable. The ponies were adorable. It was just the two of us so the interaction we had with the driver was more like pleasant conversation than a tour.

Tolle Tour zu den Shetlandponys

Wir hatten mit Eden eine tolle, engagierte Fahrerin, die uns pünktlich abholte und uns viel über die Shetlandinseln erzählen konnte. Da wir nur zu viert waren, war die Tour sehr individuell. Die Ponys waren natürlich das Highlight für unsere Enkelkinder.

Eden war eine total sympathische Tourleitung und hat uns allerlei interessantes zur Geschichte der Shetlandinseln, aber auch zur Kultur und den Menschen erzählt. Und natürlich haben wir auch die Shetlandponys getroffen und viele Informationen über diese schönen Tiere erhalten. Streicheln durfte man sie auch und wir können die Tour für Familien sehr empfehlen.
