The acrobatics show was decent but our guide seemed to be in a hurry to be rid of us after the show. Apparently everywhere in Shanghai was too busy so we just got taken straight back to our hotel after the show. We could've just bought tickets to the show and caught a taxi there and back and saved ourselves a lot of money.

Acrobatic Show: Highly recommended. This 1.5 hours show was one of its kind. It's a display of various talents and amazing agility, there was no interval. Good theatre and seating, no restricted viewing. Circle pricing is worth RMB180 (A$37).
Evening Tour: The tour guide didn't appear to have the passion, training, nor professionalism for the job. There was a lack of running commentary about the history of Shanghai, the various landmarks, or even where we were heading. A bit overpriced for what was more like a taxi service.

The Chinese Acrobats show was very impressive. Thumbs up for the amazing 1.5 hours performance with no interval. The ticket price was worth RMB180. The Evening Tour was a huge let down. Besides the guide's ability to speak English, there was a lack of passion about the city, knowledge and skills on being a guide. The hotel pick up and drop off was good. Being bilingual in Chinese helps.

While the acrobatics show was really good, this is where the good stuff ends. The guide had nothing at all to say about our Bund Drive...and we actually saw nothing at all of,the Bund...we swiftly drove past the area...but we were in a family type van with windows that were below our eye level...so to see anything at all we had to duck low....but we still could not see much, and nothing taller than a tree..we didn't see any buildings at all accross the river.the windows were simply too low. If you didnt have a window seat you couldnt see anything at all. We didnt even get out of the vsn to see the Bund! Luckily, we had a second tour with another company the following night, so we did see the bund, but otherwise, i would recommend a taxi drive past the area would give a mich better view.
We were also told by our other guide that this particular acrobatics show, while good, is not the great one...i recommend taking a taxi to the other show and then ask to drive to the Bund...take a river cruise here and really see the magnificence of the amazing light show on the skyscrapers of the Bund.

We had trouble getting to our hotel in time to meet the tour group, and thankfully, since I had left my phone number with Viator, the booking manager was able to contact me to find out my location. We were having trouble catching a cab on our own that would be willing to drive us to our hotel, so the booking manager spoke with the cab driver and explained to him where he needed to take us so we could join the group.
The Chinese Acrobat show was good. But I was expecting more for what I paid. The guide could have done a better job communicating with the group. He took us out of the van to walk down the length of a mall, but most of the tourists in the group didn't know why we got out since he didn't really explain that much about where we were.

This show is UNBELIEVABLE and should not be missed when you're in Shanghai! The tricks the acrobats do are amazing throughout the entire show.

We loved the acrobat show! It is difficult to describe many of the incredible stunts that were done during the performance--my son and I repeatedly wondered how they thought of it in the first place and couldn't imagine how they ever figured out how to do it! Well worth the money.

The show was great. Later we walked through Xin Tian Di. Driver also dove through the Bund area. Would have been good to get a quick stop there too

This tour was a huge disappointment. We neglected to research this tour and paid for a first class show but this one was third rate.

We will not recommend this tour.
Based on the reviews, I had purchased this tour, however we were extremely disappointed with the tour. It was poorly organized and managed. We feel cheated as we trusted Viator to make our two days in Shaghai memorable. Due to poorly managed and unreliable travel agency Viator hired, Our vacation was ruined.
Acrobat Show is average- good effort by the performers but could have been held in a better theater. We reached the show 20 minutes late which was almost missing half the show. After the show, we were to go for the drive and see Shanghai in the evening. Unfortunately our guide really did not have much knowledge about the city. We would have been okay with that but to make the evening worse, Our guide and the driver got into an argument at the first stop and we ended up waiting in rain, getting drenched in our evening clothes while the driver refused to come pick us up . We walked in circles with the guide to find him. What a nightmare!
I will not recommend Viator after this experience and for ruining our vacation in Shanghai.

I truly enjoyed the Chinese Acrobats. The performance was outstanding. I was on the edge of my seat. Because I was the only person to attend the performance that night, the guide only gave me a very mini evening tour of Shanghai, which was a little disappointing.

I was the only person, which was disappointing, as a business traveller I was looking forward to meeting new people. The tour operator was later due to traffic, no problem I understand, but this made the driver mad and the fought oin the car the whole time. The Evening Tour conisisted in driving in traffic past things with one word comments in english "peoples square" with no explaination or other interesting facts. I got the impression that she was bored as she just texted the whole time. The Show was excellent!!! but I had no driver waiting when it was over. Had to wait 1 hour to get a ride only after I kept calling her. This is garbage!!!!

The tour was composed by the show and an "evening tour. We went to the show (a good one), and then ten minutes (!) to walk in the French Concession. After that, back to the hotels. No view of People
Square, and no view of the Bund, that is, no "evening tour". It is true that the weather was not the best, but he guide (Mrs.Jennifer) did not provide any information about the city , but kept all the time offering her cell private phone to make another tours and send massages to the hotels. In summay, a disappointing experience. We have made several tours with Viator and the experience was always very good. This particular one was a bad surprise.

An excellent night of entertainment. We were the only people in the van so it was like a private tour. The evening tour was good though we had to ask the guide to stop on the Bund so we could get out of the van to take some photos there as it was the only opportunity we had to see the area at night.

WOW, so well done, so interesting to watch, very lively. The only thing was the audience they don't care if they are on time, late and walk around and talk too much and use their cameras when the signs clearly say not to. The minute they use them the staff green lights them its very distracting to others and noisy and just weird to see happen. No manners by the audience, thank goodness the show was that great. I do recommend it, just don't go on a saturday night too busy i think

The performances were spectacular! This is a must see for anyone in shanghai but I have to say our guide was not so good for the tour after the show. Maybe just book the show and forget the guided tour after the show.

Something to do in Shanghai - the evening tour was quite informative - but they tried to make us drive for 40 mins back to our hotel (in order to drop off another person). Instead we jumped out and got a taxi back to our hotel which cost about $4!
