By far the best thing you can do in Canggu. Curly is an amazing teacher and I had so much fun. He was patient, encouraging, informative and friendly. I enjoyed my lesson so much that I booked again the next day. Before this, I had never surfed and wasn’t sure if I would even like it. If I had more time, I would have happily booked a third lesson. Thank you so much Curly, I’m excited to visit again and learn more about surfing and listen to your songs.

I had my very first surf lesson ever with Curly! First thing, don't try to pick your own time - it's best to keep flexible and listen to what Curly suggests as the best time based on your surfing level. It'll make a huge difference! I didn't expect to be a pro after my first lesson but I was able to stand up on my first wave (and the subsequent waves after that). Curly was very encouraging and I would not hesitate to recommend him!

This is my first and best surf lesson in my life, luckily to have the best and funniest surf instructor Curly to teach me how to surf like a pro! It is very easy to surf and I have so much fun, the instructions is clear and easy to remember, I can even stand up on the surfboard in my very first time, Highly recommend the funniest private instructor Curly. I will see you again when I backed! 😊 Surfing is fun!! 🏄‍♀️
