Special thanks to Kojak our driver !!! He is a safe driver and enjoyable warm company on a long day. The day was hampered with overly thick traffic as it was a Balinese ritual day where many more vehicles were on the road traveling to and from many temples. Kojak's skill and patience in especially the afternoon crazy traffic was very impressive for someone of such a young age. He made it look effortless. Well done Kojak !! The snorkeling its self was better than what I have seen in Cairns Australia with crystal blue water. The boat captain also supplied a bottles filled with bread to attract the fish up close. Our captain was also a seasoned and experience one who could ready the waves well on such a choppy day to ensure own ride was very smooth. The hostess of the restaurant was also amazingly welcoming throughout the day from start to finish. Great warm hospitality from a beautiful people.

Great Value Snorkeling Experience.

My wife and I were lucky enough to be the only two on our tour. We had an enjoyable 2 hours snorkeling in two different locations. We appreciated the fact the areas were not crowded which enhanced our experience. There were plenty of fish activity and we loved the fish food idea they use to attract different species. We were even lucky enough to see a turtle. Our day was complete with an enjoyable lunch. This was great value for money including pick up and drop off from Legian and we experienced nothing but warm hospitality throughout the day. Note the return in the later afternoon will take about 2 hours due to traffic but thats peak hour traffic.

Snorkelling is good but Puri Rai restaurant is not up to standards

The snorkelling experience was good. There’s a lot to see at Blue Lagoon. Our pick up and drop off were really smooth. Shower facility at the restaurant Puri Rai is really poor. The shower has no privacy and the drainage holes are blocked with hair, which means you are taking shower in a pool of dirty water. There is no space to put your belongs and get changed. Meal included at Puri Rai restaurant is also very disappointing.

Sensational snorkeling

Only worth if you’re nearby

Our guide was lovely, but the overall tour was underwhelming and felt disorganized. My primary gripes are: (1) I think the tour guide offers a far too wide pickup range than is practical. We were staying in Jimbaran and I don’t think the quality of snorkeling was worth a ~2hr drive. This is partly on us, since we knew the distance going in — but I’d only bother with this trip if you are relatively nearby the Blue Lagoon. I can’t imagine coming here all the way from Uluwatu, which is offered as an option. Before booking this trip carefully and any of the add-ons, look up how far apart everything is and add a generous buffer for traffic to decide if it’s worth it. (2) We booked the waterfall tour option, but the guide said both waterfalls were closed due to flooding. We were taken to a different waterfall which was frankly a bit underwhelming. We were told we’d then go to a rice terrace, but instead were taken to a coffee tasting / swing attraction — this was fine but again underwhelming and hardly worth the drive. If both waterfalls listed on the tour package were genuinely closed, we would’ve preferred a heads-up in the morning with a clear description of the alternatives — if we’d have had this, we would’ve just cancelled the other stops.

As described. Pick up from Kuta hotel was organised. Lunch provided at drop off point. Drive was a while but took in scenery and driver knowledgeable about area. Good streamlined snorkeling experience with all gear and was safe and helpful. Driven back to Kuta hotel. Great value for money. Don’t forget sunscreen and towel and water.

Magical Snorkeling

This snorkeling tour was truly an adventure. The water was a sparkling, beautiful blue, and i was lucky enough to see a turtle, an eel, “Nemo and Dory,” and many other exciting fish—an unforgettable experience. My driver, Johnny, was wonderful and made the day even better. He was kind, knowledgeable, and a very safe driver. He pointed out special points of interest along the way and clearly confirmed our pickup time, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend!

We booked the snorkeling and gates of heaven excursion and did not get much communications from the tour operator ahead of the excursion. We even reached out to confirm how long the trip would take since the tickets said the excursion would take 6 hours. However, after the driver picked us up, we were told the excursion would actually take 12 hours. Had we known this, we would not have added the Gates of Heaven visit. Because we had planned on this being 6 hours, we had other plans in the evening and were unable to do Gates of Heaven. The driver dropped us off at our hotel early and we tried to reach the tour operator several times to get refunded just for the Gates of Heaven part but they ignored both our outreach and Viator’s outreach. I would not recommend this tour group at all. Additionally, Blue Lagoon has a lot of trash in the water so it made the snorkeling feel really gross. And our driver did not speak to us during the 1.5 hour (both ways) ride which felt odd since all of our drivers from other excursions we did that week were SO friendly. We sat in silence for this entire drive - it felt so awkward.

This was a great experience. Nice calm conditions. Despite rough overnight weather the visibility was good for at least 20ft over the coral. Saw a very diverse range of beautiful fish up very close thanks to the good the guide spreads around. Pretty basic but great for beginners like us.

We had an amazing time on our Blue Lagoon snorkeling tour! The water was crystal clear and the experience was seamless from start to finish. A special shout-out to our driver, Soma. He was incredibly professional and made the journey just as enjoyable as the destination. Throughout the drive, he shared excellent "insider" tips and local hints that you won't find in a guidebook, which really helped us navigate the rest of our trip. If you're looking for a well-organized tour with a driver who genuinely cares about your experience, ask for Soma!

Snorkelling at the Blue Lagoon

Lovely spot on a reef. Plenty of colourful fish and am occasionally turtles. Only caveat is that it a little difficult to get on and off the small boats. Young people had no problem but a tad awkward for us older folk. Otherwise am excellent outing.

Unresposive and Disappointing

We booked 10am activity and asked for pickup at 8am to avoid noon sun. Got message that pickup will be 10am instead. Reply and call multiple times without respond. Have to get booking agent to contact to reconfirm pickup at 8am. Waiting an hour without pickup. Called to check but they hang up our call. Driver came late and informed us that he was not informed of early pickup. Explanation given is tide too low before noon, but many came hours before us. Even if true, should explain and not ignore or hang up our calls. The group is huge, about 14 pax and visited 2 spots. The first spot was average with strong current. By the time we visit the second spot at Blue Lagoon an hour later, which is much nicer, many of us already too tired due to the strong current at the first spot to enjoy it. They should just focus on the best spot and not waste our time on having two spots nearby with the same features. Showering is in open space without soap and towel. We have to request for the towel and waited very long for it, as they didnt prepare for. As it is in the open, we have to keep our swim wear on, and unable to clean properly. Lunch provided is basic but ok.

He was friendly, flexible and made us feel taken well care of. The snorkeling itself was also beautiful! It was one of the best spots I have been to!

Our driver, Septa, was lovely! There was no communication beforehand regarding pickup time despite attempts to reach out, which was unfortunate but otherwise all went smoothly. The drive was very comfortable and all staff were kind, friendly and welcoming. The snorkelling was excellent, with plenty of interesting tropical fish, and lunch was delicious. An enjoyable experience all around, thank you to the team!

We had such a great experience. The snorkelling was better than I expected. There was some rubbish at the beach where hopping on the boat which was a shame, however the snorkelling spots where clear and clean, and our guides even picked up any plastic they saw in the water. Lunch was also good and great to have changing facilities at the restaurant. Our driver, Nanda, was amazing. He then took us to Ubud to the rice terraces and monkey forest. We had a fantastic day and would highly recommend for the price.
