First the good parts - hotel pickup was on time, flawless pickups and drop-offs at all ends, tour covered 4 beaches, the guide showed good places to take pictures and took pictures..
Not so good :
- the "English - guide" in the tour description is misleading. There was no guide. Ours was a private tour. The driver was the totally inadequate "guide". The driver who did the hotel pickup and dropoff was prompt and attentive, but knew very little English. The driver on the island also knew only a little English. All he was interested in was to take us to the Instagram picture locations and help take those pictures. Inspite of being native to the island, he knew very little about the island and offered no information. He was not keen or enthusiastic. We eventually stopped asking.
- The boat trips were through 'Axe Stone'. The outward boat ride was horrible. The boat was stuffy and every seat taken. Seats were dirty and life vests are too filthy even to touch. Passengers were forced to buy overpriced drinks while boarding if they wanted to take upper deck. The return trip had a slightly better boat.
- the 'included lunch' was too basic- one entre and one drink - from a special menu. The serving size was too small and we had to order additional paid menu items.

The Ferry ride was a big disappointment and was scary. More people were boarded than the available seats. We were offered to sit on the top deck with the condition of buying a drink per person. We were asked to come down as there was customs around and we stood in the aisle of the boat for 10 minutes even after paying extra money. The boat had no aircon, the seats were very congested and after putting on the life vests, humans were shoved into cramped seats like sheeps. Very suffocating. Apart from the Instagram famed views there was nothing else to do. The steps to go down to the beach were TERRIFYING, small / un-even / side railing missing / ropes broken. The dock where the boat docked was a disaster. The roads to the famous beaches were so bad and scary that we will not go there ever again. All the famous beaches were at least an hour away from the boats. The infrastructure is very bad even though the island gets 1000s of tourists everyday. Will go to Bali again and but not to Nusa Penida.

We chose the land tour with the 3 snorkeling points
The land tour was very nice
Our guide was a professional young and kind man !
We had many interesting conversations during our trip (the best part of our trip)
The snorkelling part was not good at all
The partner company provided a very very bad quality of equipment which made it difficult to inevitable to watch underwater
We had only a few minutes per bay which was not pleasant
The whole snorkeling part lasted approximately one and a half hour including transit
The weather was not the best on that day and we did not feel safe in the boat
Last but not least, the hygiene of the snorkelling company is the worst
Dirty toilets , and the towels provided at the end of the activity were super dirty
Generally, not recommended because of the snorkelling.
Maybe a land tour only would be a better option
The booking operator was very kind and direct and responded to any questions/inquiries we may had

I appreciate the team, our tour supervisor, who took us to Nusa and the driver we had, he was really good, however, this is a very generic tour. I felt rushed and so did few people who was in our group. I would rather stay longer in 1 or two places and enjoy the beach then spend most of the time in the car. Crystal bay wasn't anything special and I don't think it is worth a visit. Broken beach and Angels are ok but the most what we missed is Kelingking beach and the opportunity to have time to go down and then come back up as it is challenging climb. I am planning to come with my partner and I think it is best to come to Nusa and hire a driver who will take you where you want. By doing so you will time your self and do the things you want. But the team was great!!!

The experience was really good! The tour started with our driver, Sadu, picked us up at 6am to the harbour. He helped us to collect tickets and tags for the ferry and provide clear instructions for pick up later on. We really enjoyed the places included in this tour! Our driver/guide, Yogi, helped us to take many nice photos and videos which we really appreciate it! His navigation was good and occasionally he will notify us that the roads were going to be extra bumpy due to bad road conditions. Recommended to have motion sickness pills. Similarly Yogi helped us with getting the tags for the ferry back to main island. This tour we had sufficient time for everything as stated in the initinary. The lunch included was good too! Will come back again for this tour!!

Our experience with yogi and dewa couple days ago was absolutely amazing ,they knew exactly where to go, all the best photo opportunities, they took amazing videos for us as well and was so kind and polite. Dewa was knowledgeable and informative an excellent driver on the narrow bumpy roads ensuring we were safe and comfortable. He checked in on us made sure we were able to see all the landmarks we wanted. Would highly recommend Dewa and yogi as the guide for penida trip

I booked what I thought was a private trip just for ne, but they wrote me the day before through whats app saying that its a "small group". I complained and they cancelled the activity the day before at 11PM. I was angry because, were I am going to find another tour to Nusa Penida now??. Anyways, the tour seems to still be booked even tho I recieved the cancelation email

Beautiful trip! Big thanks to Yogi, he was an excelent guide and photographer! We had an amazing time and visited beautiful places.
Little tip: take dramamine before you go on the boat trip, specially if you are not use to boats (my boyfriend vomited several times while snorkeling and after, lol).

It is a scam activity. They post pictures of beaches, people swimming, but you cannot access any of the beaches. They told us that it was an instagram tour, so we could only take pictures of the beaches and views but could not visit any of the beaches. In total, we spent 12 hours in the car & on the boat, and only 80 minutes for sightseeing

The tour show all the island and it’s perfect for who likes to take pictures , please just be aware you will need to travel a lot by car .
I’m very grateful to our tour guide Kadek tiara that made our tour absolutely amazing , very good pictures and he was driving very carefully.

Mudiana was a wonderful guide. Conscientious and kind. Knowledgable about the area. Patient and supportive when we climbed the 600 steps to diamond beach. Happy smiling guy that was a pleasure to spend the day with . Started early to keep away from the crowds as we were not good amongst lots of people.

The trip itself was amazing unfortunately it was super choppy when we went out on the boat so we couldn’t go to all of the snorkelling areas but what we did go to was nice except for one where it was so dirty and merky we couldn’t see any fish. What I would say is when we got to the island it was very unclean. There are rabid dogs running around everything itching their fleas and the general hygiene is not good. Once we finished our boat we then went back to this spot to shower. The ladies there were lovely and so kind but once again the hygiene and cleanliness was something to be desired. When you’ve been in the sea and then you go to shower you expect it to be clean and fresh, well this was like we was showering in salt water again. So needless to say you don’t feel much cleaner afterwards. We then got in our tour car and headed to lunch, which was included in the tour. This lunch was absolutely vile! It was in like a little village which didn’t look very sanitary at all. The chicken was dry and the rice looked like it has been sitting there all day. The toilets were disgusting, you needed sanitiser just going in them. After not really eating much we left and headed to the amazing sight seeing spots, one of which was broken beach, which was truly beautiful I must say! The pictures you can take are amazing and we were very fortunate to have such a lovely tour guide who stopped at nothing to take photos and videos for you and knew all the angles! Pay the 5 rupiah for the swing it’s well worth the picture. We then headed back to our hotel but because the traffic in Bali is so bad mainly because there are no rules on the road so the mopeds have priority which is crazy to us brits! It took us ages to get back at least 2 and a half hours!
Overall, I would say, the sights you see are brilliant on the latter half of the trip but the first part of the trip is a little underwhelming and the food was just awful! We actually got sick less than 48 hours after this trip, I wouldn’t be surprised if we caught Bali belly from that restaurant we ate at.

It was a nice day tour to see 4 of the main tourist areas and lookouts on the island. Tour still went ahead in the rain. Would reccommend this if you are only able to spend a short time in Nusa Penida.

We were able to fully customize our tour to visit places we wanted to see. We went to Kling kling the day before and wanted to do something different, so we hit up Diamond beach (recommend for the view, but if you want time on an actual beach you can swim in Atuh would be better - they're right next to each other, but we only had time for 1 and while view of Diamond was amazing, you cant swim b/c of the powerful currents and rocks in the water...), we went to the temple in a cave (which is very much worth visiitng if you have time), and Temeling beach (which again beautiful, but you can't swim in the ocean due to the rocks and currents - but they do have a self made pond to swim in...). Shout out to our driver Dewa who was extremely hospitable and was our driver to the port and back to our hotel. Overall the experience was fun and memorable.

Overall a really good tour. It’s a long day, we got picked up at 6am and dropped off at about 7pm but we were staying in Uluwatu so a while away from the harbour. Speed boat across to Nusa Penida is about 45 minutes and is quite comfortable. Trip is very organised with a guide picking us up from the harbour and dropping us back off there. Lunch was ok, not much choice but nice. Only thing was there wasn’t much communication or information on the day. We weren’t told which place we were going to next etc, we just followed the group and arrived at the next spot. All in all, a good day and a good way of seeing Nusa Penida, if you don’t have time to stay on the island.

Booking was simple and pretty straightforward. Morning pick up was arranged at my villa and the driver was friendly and punctual. Took a speed boat transfer to Nusa Penida(45min-1hr). For those who have motion sickness, prepare accordingly.
I don’t recommend this trip east/west tour of Nusa Penida and here are the reasons why:
You will spend most of the trip traveling.
You will be rushed to take pictures for IG etc
You will not be allowed to actually enjoy the beach.
You will spend about 15-20 minutes at each location.
You will only be given one bottle of water.
You will likely ride in a poorly air conditioned vehicle with the windows rolled down, while hot air slaps you in the face.
You will have a driver that will drive recklessly on steep, narrow, and poorly paved roads.
You will have a lunch at a restaurant that will mislead you to believe the meal is free when only 4-5 menu items are free.
You will be asked if you want to zip line for 700k although you will only have 20 minutes to do it.
You will deal with large crowds of tourist all trying to take pictures.
Attend this tour if:
You only want pictures to post to your social media accounts.
Overall,
This tour was a complete waste of my time. Had I known I couldn’t enjoy the actual beaches…I never would have gone. The reviews posted prior to mine about this being a waste of time is very accurate.
The only positive I take away from the experience is the lovely photos/videos my driver took.

We love our tour of Nusa penida ! Communication from the tour group was great so we knew where to go and what expect in advance. Our guide was fantastic and safely drove us all around the island even though the road were windier and narrower than you can imagine. We felt we have enough time at each beach and stop for the picture.this tour is the best way to see the iconic and stunning beaches if the island. Highly recommend

13hrs of travel for a total of 1hr walking around taking photos.
Overcrowded to the point of stand still traffic and queues to even get close to the viewpoints.
In the east and west combo it specifies swimming opportunities but then the guide told us no.
We overheated and there was no respite in the car because the “air conditioned vehicle” did not air condition so well and had to be turned off entirely for the driver to be able to make it up some hills
Very unclean. The poor sanitation (even at restaurant bathroom) was expected, but the tonnes of litter was a disappointment.
The included lunch was very basic, but we could get proper food if we paid extra.

Our family really enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Kadek Tiara, knew the area very well. He took great care of us and provided excellent suggestions and recommendations. We appreciated the beauty of these remote and picturesque places. I would recommend leaving early in the morning if you are staying in Bali, as there is much to explore in Nusa Penida and places are remote and typically crowded. Love this tour ,they did well organised for our sharing tour.we were picked up around 7 am from our hotel in Nusa dua Bali.Than they dropped us at the harbour.if you missed the breakfast at the hotel you have no worry they have caffee that you can get it there for your breakfast. After that we got small breafing before boarding the fastboat and around 45 minutes reached the island at the harboar of Nusa penida.It's coast so clean and it had blue colour of water ,first impression of the island had make us felt in love with the island .Than we met with our guide who took us exploring the west part of the island.first stop was called kelingking cliff ,wow it looks like no difference between the picture on Instagram,it was so pretty 😍.the second beach was Brocken beach with its stunning view ,walked around the cliff and lucky us that we show the manta ray and dolphin above the cliff,it was unbelievable for us we didn't do snorkeling for hunting that creatures but we showed them :) these were shorth experience that we can share to you and we had some more outstanding experience that we don't share here but you can experience by your next trip on the island . Finally this trip was so worth it with affordable cost. Recommend!!

Booking this Made our trip to Bali! A I didn't want to be stressed trying to get around Nusa penida on our own to see all the spots I wanted to,and in this tour everything is taken care of for you - ride to and from the port,your boat ticket.it was perfect! We joined the small group with 5 people ,we met new people during the trip like family ,and the guide on the island Gede was awesome man.we felt relaxed the whole day and never rushed .I loved this tour that took us snorkeling and west trip.Recommend

First thing to know, I participated in this tour on the 19th of May, which was not even the high season (compared to July/August).
It was so CROWDED everywhere, at the harbor, on the roads, at all places. I knew it would be crowded but that was too much.
I cannot even imagine what it would be like during high season...and our guide said that it's even worse.
On the road, you can see dozens of cars, full of tourists, following each other from one place to another.
The program is as follows:
You spend time in the traffic, following cars full of tourists. You walk out, stop every second because somebody is taking a picture in front of you, you walk by the influencers changing clothes and doing their make up for the best Instagram picture.
Then you take your picture, pretending like everyone else that the place is natural and almost empty, then you return, running to the convoy of cars to the next Insta spot.
You are always in a hurry, and the "guide" will systematically ask you if you want a picture, and two seconds later, ask you to go faster because we don't have time.
Oh and there are also places where you have to pay for taking a picture, a fee for each person in the picture !
Moreover, you will have to pay everytime that you want to go to the toilets, which could be okay, but is not when you find out how dirty they are.
Now let's talk about what they dared to call the "lunch". It was the blandest meal I have ever eaten. The menu has a very poor selection and the food was a real joke. They say that lunch is included, but you will most likely have to order something else than what is proposed because it is either bad, bland or not enough.
Our "guide", I would say it is more a driver than anything else, was nice but nothing special, he didn't even say goodbye.
Overall, I think that is really not worth it. It is very expensive for what it is. Yes the places are beautiful if you find a spot without too many tourists, yes you can get very nice pictures but, everything is ruined by people's superficiality. Social media made this place too famous and now it is ruined. There is trash everywhere and people do no even care about the place itself, they just want to show that they were there and look at the places through their phones and not their eyes.
If you are one of them, then it's up to you to participate in a business that ruins what was initially a wonderful place.

We purchased the west trip of Penida which includes Kellingking Beach, Angel's Billabong, Broken Beach and Crystal Bay. Our driver only took us to 3 out of 4 places. He did not mention at the start of the tour that we would not be going to Crystal Bay.
After visiting Angel's Billabong and Broken Beach which are right next to each other, I asked him if Crystal Bay is our next stop to which he replied no. He explained that there were some roadworks. He took us to Singabu Sand Beach without telling us that it was a restaurant and we were not allowed to stay there without ordering food or drinks. We were forced to buy some drinks when we just finished the free lunch included in the tour.
My husband was not happy and asked our driver why he did not take us to Crystal Bay. Our driver said that there were some materials (not sure if construction materials) and it was not a good time to go there.
If we have known before booking this tour that we would only visit 3 places, we would not have booked this tour. We would have selected a cheaper one that includes 3 places. Not happy with this tour.

Despite buying a customize your plan package (quite costly), there was no option to choose things we wanted to be or not to be part of the itinerary. We started from the hotel as per the requested time but after completing snorkeling (where also we followed the prescribed schedule) we were simply told there is no time left for covering other spots. Also, had specifically requested if we could get some help during snorkeling and were assured of that but once on the boat, there was only one guide for 20+ people and despite requesting was not interested to help at all.
Overall a wasted day!!
