Itinerary

Begin your private adventure off of Bali's beaten path with morning pickup at your hotel. Meet your private guide, whose attention will be focused on you and your party throughout the day. Board a comfortable tour vehicle and set off for the countryside.

Head for Taman Ayun Temple, located in the Mengwi Regency. Continue to a local coffee plantation to see the various coffee plants and taste some of the different Balinese coffee varieites produced there.

Travel to the Bedugul area for scenic views of Beratan Lake Temple and Ulun Danu Beratan Temple. Visit the Pacung Rice Terrace, featuring sweeping views of the largest rice paddy fields in Bali. Stop there for a buffet lunch with epic views.

After lunch, travel through the dense jungle to the foothills of Mt Batu Karu to visit the Batu Karu Temple.

Your last stop is Tanah Lot Temple, a Balinese Hindu temple perched on a rock in the ocean. Make sure you have your camera ready for fantastic shots as the sun sets.

At the conclusion of your private tour, head back to your hotel for drop-off.

Arya was a fantastic tour guide, very knowledgeable and a great driver (need to be with the roads). We highly recommend this tour and Arya as a guide. The scenery is amazing, the temples are beautiful and the sunset was breathtaking.

If you only take one...

If you only take one tour, this is the one! 3 ancient temples all different in stature and locations plus the world famous Jatiluwith Rice Terrace fields (recognised by UNESCO). Considerable travel between the temples and the rice fields, We took a private tour for 2 with a fantastic driver (Margot). Easy going driver made the tour quite enjoyable and he passed along a bit of history at the different stops. If you get a chance to spend the day with Margot, take it. Well worth it!

The trip was not what was promised. We did not go to Tanah Lot at sunset, and we skipped the Batu Karu temple completely. I would go with a different group.
