Overview

We booked a “jungle” MTB ride with wild mex in salulyito DISASTER - will never go back to this operator ever Too many problems to get into - simply stated do not go to this operator for anything - they don’t give a toss about customer - safety or experience quality - ignoring equipment nightmares (flat tires on other people’s bikes and a broken chain on my 120 lbs wife’s bike - she couldn’t break a chain with a hack for goodness sakes! You have been warned

Hello Patrick, to answer your comments regrding your MTB ride at SAYULITA We are sorry that even though you asked and where given a full refund, you still feel like we do not care about our guests experiences Our Guide did get a flat during your ride, which he quickly fixed. Fortunately this is something that does not happen often, but when it happens, our guides carry all the tools needed and are ready to deal with it quickly and efficiently, whether it is our guest's bike our their Bike. Regarding your wife breaking a chain, I am sorry, your wife DID NOT BREAK A CHAIN, your wife DROPPED HER CHAIN, which are 2 different ocurrances. Even though modern high quality bikes, like the ones we use for our tours, have pretty much solved this issue, it still happens, specially when someone inexperienced is doing the shifting on the bike. Your wife did drop a chain, which is something that someone with a little cycling experience can fix in 10 seconds. Unfortunaately since your wife decided to turn around at the beginning of the tour and head back to our shop, when she dropped her chain and she did not know how to put it back on, had to walk a couple of blocks in town. For everyone reading this review, our Wildmex MTB Tours are not on a bike path or similar beginner experiences, they are on REAL jungle trails with challenges and are not suitable for inexperienced Bikers
