The trekking tour with Thào Thikhu was an incredible experience. It was my favorite activity in Sa Pa, and I highly recommend it. Thào Thikhu picked us up from our Airbnb with two of her friends and we embarked on a 3-hour trek down the mountains. She then took us to her village house where she prepared a delicious meal for us. We had the option to hike up or take a car, but we opted for the car as we were exhausted after the trek. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sa Pa.

Best experience in Sapa! I would highly recommend booking this trek! Lisa and her daughters were amazing and so fun! Lisa was very knowledgeable. We got a local experience! If you want the best lunch ever book with them! This was a highlight of our trip for my friend and I!

Challenging and wonderful trak. Lunch at our guides home was the crowning touch. Khu, our guide was informative and caring. Helped me to manage the rougher parts of the path. Great day! Try to have her as your guide.

We booked this tour as part of our visit to Sapa and loved it! Khu was so kind and funny, she really made the tour fun and engaging. We started off along a trail with a few other tour groups but then she took us in a different direction with less tourist that provided a more authentic experience. The trek is pretty long but she provided lots of interesting facts and it was a really great experience. She took us to her home for lunch and it was delicious!! We loved this experience and would recommend it for anyone wanting to visit the rice fields and local villages in Sapa.

Khu - An extraordinary guide!

Khu was simply fantastic. Most of the views of the mountains and valley were engulfed in clouds and mist. But Khu succeeded in making everything come alive and dazzle. She speaks excellent English and is both informative and entertaining, I would do the tour again in a heartbeat and I heartily recommend it to one and all.

Loved Khu’s sharing of the history and culture of the villages. She brought us on a trekking path with beautiful views, and the team helped us through challenging parts. The home cooked lunch was delicious too. Highly recommend this trekking tour! This was the best part of my Sapa trip.

You’ve got to go with Khu. Her happy manner, and enthusiasm are infectious. Her love of the region and local knowledge helped us understand the culture. We were lucky enough to have lunch at her house. She is a gear cook, has good English, and I would highly recommend Khu. Penny from Australia.

We had the tour with Khu today in beautiful weather and so were able to enjoy the breathtaking view of the mountains around Sapa. On the way to Lao chai we learned all about growing rice as the harvest was in full swing. Through rice fields, past water buffaloes and the steep slopes down we reached a fabulous vantage point after the. Once in the valley, we had the choice of food in the restaurant or at Khu's home. We accepted this personal invitation thankfully, of course, and so we were served a wonderful meal at her home. We also learned a lot about the traditional costumes and dyeing with indigo leaves. The final walk past the river to the taxi towards Sapa, led once again through the rice fields of her neighbors and so she was able to tell us a little about life in the village. We can only recommend this tour to anyone. Khu speaks excellent English and is just a very nice person to whom you like to ask questions and get them answered friendly.
