The phase of the moon matters. Best time to see the bioluminesence is when there is no moon. We did not go at the optimal time but it was still pretty spectacular! Eddie did a great job of finding pockets of algae and he was very knowledgeable. It was mesmerizing for me and I highly recommend the tour.

It was a great location to watch the sunset, explore a little island and a very cool experience to see the bioluminescence.

Eddy was awesome and the bioluminescence was amazing. We opted to switch to a boat ride instead of the kayaks (he had both). While the kayaks would have been quite, we had a better time on the boats because we could cover more distance. Eddy gave us a great time. He spoke great English and explain some of the science behind. Had a great time and highly recommend. Also, get there a few minutes early for a beautiful sunset.

Eddie was so knowledgeable and made our boat ride an experience to remember. I have never seen something so beautiful and fanciful as glowing water. We even swam in it. It was so magical to see our bodies light up like stars in a dark sky. I don’t think you would have the same fascinating and personal experience that we had with Eddie with a regular tour group. He made it extra special and a memory that I will never forget. It truly was a once in a lifetime moment. You truly exceeded all my expectations and more. Thank you Eddie…you are truly the best!

Eddy is very kind. Allowed us to experience the bioluminescence even though the moon was almost full. Taught us about the biology behind the algae in Spanish and English. Eddy was very helpful throughout the whole experience

Great experience. We were a bit worried because it was a clear night, but Eddie did an amazing job explaining how the bioluminescent works, actively finding spots, and providing opportunities for us to see the different colors within the bay.

Make sure that you don’t go when the moon is bright or you will not be able to see much. I was surprised that the tour went on knowing it was too bright.

Eddy made the most he could to show us bioluminensce during a full moon night.
We got upset because we weren’t prepared to get in the sea late at night neither were expecting them to put a huge peace of plastic over the boat to create more shadows, so I think it’s something to expect. If they have warned us before, we would’ve had a much better time.
We couldn’t see a lot of it in a full moon night, but we have to appreciate the effort they made to show us.
At the end, I unfortunately don’t think it’s worth it during full moon, but in different days must be great.

Seeing the bioluminescence was very magical experience. Eddy was very knowledgeable and explained the natural phenomenon very well. My phone was not able to capture the bioluminescence but it was bright and clearly visible to the eyes.

What a great place. Eddie was a fantastic guide. He was super patient with the few that were not as strong of kayakers. He really cared about our safety. Eddy was very knowledgeable about the bioluminescence. We had a vehicle with a tent on it and he let us stay for free since we paid for the tour. Cold shower and restroom available on site.

Eddie was very personable and did everything he could to make our tour great! We were a tad early point so we drove up the road to a soda that overlooked the area before the tour and watched the sunset. The bioluminescence algae was cool and we enjoyed the swim at the end.

Absolutely amazing experience. Eddy is super knowledgable and really helps you appreciate bioluminescence in all its glory. We went on the boat and were able to see many spots with great bioluminescence. Cannot recommend enough!

Very cool! When we went the bioluminescence was very strong and visible, it was excellent. The biologist explained every detail of how it worked. Do not be afraid to go and not see the bioluminescence, explained that even when it is with the moon can go to some darker points where it would be possible to see, they give a way!
