Great fishing trip! The guide, Erik, was very knowledgeable. We caught a bunch of skipjack tuna, a yellow fin tuna, and I reeled in a Rooster! Awesome day on the boat. They cleaned it for us after and we ate like kings and queens that night.

Our Capitan appeared to be a good fisherman, but was not a good host. Upon arrival, none of the fishing boats had any signage on where to go. None of the boats were prepped and ready to go…so maybe that is how they roll. Thirty minutes later, we took off. The fishing is really trolling. Fine. Our capitan didn’t introduce himself, talk to us, didn’t tell us the game plan. He was uptight about any sand in the boat. He just seemed like he hated his job. We’re competent fisher people and not annoying. Let it be said that we did catch six skip jack tunas and one rooster fish. This guy is the only grumpy person we’ve dealt with in Costa Rica.

Highly recommend well worth it guide knows exactly where to go we fished till we were exhausted and ask to go back.

Did not catch anything. Didn’t seem like the captain was that motivated to catch fish. We just went around in circles, trolling blindly it seemed like. There wasn’t any explanation of what type of fishing we would be doing. One expensive boat ride. I would skip fishing in Mal Pais

So sad that you wrote this, I understand that you are not happy because you don't got a refund, but the rules are from Viator. We was waiting for you that day and you not came, was the highest season and we lost others trips because have your booking. So, that's way we not share that you wrote lies just for that. We have many other reviews here, amd never have one that says something like that, probably because we try to do the best job all the time. And is not matter if we catch fish or not, because we always try hard but is some days that the fish say not and we can't make anything to change that because is the nature and the Fishing. Our morning with Jason was incredibly efficient! He put us right on the fish and we landed 4 of the 5 bites in just over an hour of fishing including once when we had two fish on at the same time only to lose one to a shark that took our hooked fish! A couple of the kids got a bit nauseous on the water so we headed in after a shortened trip. Loved having fresh fish all week so during our trip in Costa Rica! The wahoo sashimi and ceviche were the best!

We had a great fishing trip with Jason. Caught a lot of fish and cooked them last night. Best yellow tail tuna I’ve ever had! Jason did a superb job navigating, assisting and cleaning our catch. Definitely recommend using Jason’s Tours!!

Belle matinée de pêche. Nous avons pêché plusieurs poissons dont 6 thons. De magnifiques dauphins nous suivaient. Notre accompagnateur était efficace et dévoué mais peu bavard. Évidemment, il faut être prêt à la pêche en haute mer et ses grosses vagues..
