We had two amazing days sailing in paradise. Fabri and Franci were wonderful, cooking delicious food with fresh bread, lobsters, pasta and lots of fruits. We also enjoyed nice snorkelling, beautiful beaches and interesting conversations. This has definately been the highlight of our trip and a memory we will keep in our hearts.

My partner and I enjoyed every minute of our cruise. Captain Diego went out of his way to give us a good time. We enjoyed the food and beautiful scenery, but Captain Diego's personality and conversation took the trip from a Wow to Super Wow.

A true bucket list experience!

I had an absolutely wonderful time on the Dike, with Jorge and Deisy. They were wonderful hosts, and the Dike was a wonderful boat to spend a few days on. The food was wonderful, from rich paella to fresh lobster, and the weather was perfect. We passed the days swimming, snorkeling, and exploring the little islands in the area. We even had a nice barbecue with some of their friends. This area is so unbelievably beautiful and this experience is the perfect way to have a visit - it should be on everyone's list to experience in life.

Not worth $800

The skipper, had no intention of leaving the port except the 2nd day after my insistance, otherwise we would have sat there and not sailed at all.. My lobster meal came froma guna restaurant the 1st day. No other fresh food. It was only late the 2nd day, we had fresh food and a cooked meal. They charge $100 for transportation whereas other travellers were paying $50.

Response from Host, Jan 2023

Hi Nicole, thank your for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear we couldn’t make you happy. The captain according to weather conditions can established whether is safe to sail or not. All meals are fresh, either cooked on board or prepared on the island by local Kunas. Transportation prices are fixed and agreed by all transportation companies and return trip is minimum 100$. Lastly, please note that if you use these platforms, the price generally will be 30% higher then original rates, due to platform fee.

The ride to and from the port was great. We had prompt service to the sailboat. We were happy with the cleanliness of the boat. Overall, the food was amazing, the paddle board, kayak and snorkeling equipment were great and the islands were paradise. However, our trip took a concerning turn when after a few hours of boarding, we realized personal items were missing (sunglasses, $100 cash, AirPods and pieces of clothing). There was only a crew of two (captain and helper/server) and as far as we could tell no one else boarded the boat. We don’t believe the captain was aware that his helper could do this. But, she left soon after we boarded to return to her country to renew her visa. We did not feel comfortable at all to come forward since we were at the mercy of our captain and his crew. This trip could have been perfect, but I wish we didn’t go. Let this be a warning to all travelers, keep your stuff close to you and don’t trust that any thing is safe.

Hi Michelle, I’m very surprised by your review, especially given how things were handled during your trip. You only mentioned to the captain that your daughter had misplaced her glasses, and he assisted you in looking for them. At no point did you bring up any other missing items to the crew. In fact, you tipped the crew $200 and thanked them for an amazing experience, which makes your current claims quite unexpected. You’ve acknowledged that you don’t have any proof and that this is based on your belief. These are serious accusations, and without evidence, they can have serious consequences — including impacting someone’s job and reputation. It’s important to consider this before making such claims publicly. All the boats we work with are operated by trusted professionals who provide exceptional service. Incidents like this have never occurred before. These crews manage boats worth hundreds of thousands — even millions — of dollars. They have no reason to take sunglasses or small amounts of cash. I truly hope you and your family made it home safely. Take care,

Floating Away in the Caribbean Sea

Theresa_K, Mar 2022
I have always intrigued by a sailing adventure, perhaps a month or so floating around the Caribbean Sea. But there is one little problem: I had never been on a sailboat before. This two-day sailboat experience, under the care of Captain Nico, was a perfect test. I loved it! The sailboat was pretty, and spacious and all the amenities welcoming. The simple fare was delicious and inviting, always served with care. And the views from the boat are now etched in my memory. It was a lovely, lovely way to spend time.
