    Absolutely Fabulous Authentic Dining Experience

    We just had the best time with Hamid and the family he took us to for lunch. We started the day with going shopping in the Old Medina for the groceries for lunch. It was truly an unforgettable experience walking around with him and greeting the friendly Moroccan people. Then he took us to a beautiful home and we learned how to cook many Moroccan dishes with chicken, lamb and vegetables. We also learned how to make mint tea and they had made us many different kinds of delicious cookies. The family was just lovely and we got to experience the authenticity of the country and their cultures. We were there for 3 hours just chatting, eating and asking many questions. They opened their beautiful home to us and took us on a tour. We highly recommend this excursion if you want to immerse yourself in a very personal way. You will not be disappointed as we walked away with such a WOW experience.

    So much fun. Hamid was very nice. Showed me how to make moroccan tea and vegetarian cous cous. We went to buy the spices and all the ingredients together. The tour was full of information as well. He even told me if I need anything for the rest of my stay in Rabat I could always contact him. Thank you so much I had a great time ! ✌✌

    Hamid was een zeer aangename gids en kok. Het winkelen op de markt verliep vlot en was aangenaam. Hierna kregen we een uitgebreid Marokkaans ontbijt met thee, zeer lekker! Nadien moesten wij de groenten snijden en kruiden toevoegen. Verder kregen we de kans veel vragen te stellen over de Marokkaanse cultuur, zeer interessant! Enkele minpuntjes voor ons waren het gebrek aan hygiëne. Zo werd dezelfde lepel gebruikt door iedereen, inclusief Hamid, om te proeven en vervolgens weer te roeren. Ook de hygiëne van de sponzen en de mixer was betwijfelbaar. We kozen voor de vegetarische optie, waardoor de kosten voor de ingrediënten zeer minimaal waren, maar we toch een hoge prijs betaalden.
