What a fantastic tour! I highly recommend this for one of the first activities you do in Quito. It really helped me get acquainted with old historic center. Daniel is awesome!
This was a well-paced activity where the guide Daniel shared lots of information in a fun way. We had several opportunities to sit down and sample local foods and drinks, finishing with amazing chocolate at Yumbas. We are both seniors and despite the altitude, found this very manageable and hugely enjoyable.
Daniel was a great guide! He was informative, had great stories and information about Quito and Ecuadorean culture. He was friendly, easy to talk to, and funny. I would highly recommend Daniel for a tour of Quito!
Daniel was an excellent tour guide! Very much enjoyed our tour. We tried some tasty food and learned about Ecuadorian culture along with seeing landmarks.
This was a fun tour. Our guide was interesting and knowledgeable. We didn’t go into any of the buildings, but we enjoyed learning about them. We went to a coffee place, had empanadas, and went to a chocolate place. We chose to buy things in these locations as they were good, but you could go to any of those places on your own as well. We did this at the end of our time in Quito but I think it would’ve been better at the front end of our trip as it made a nice introduction to the city.
Daniel has perfect English and is very nice and accommodating. You do have to pay extra if you want to go into attractions. We ended up with a private tour so it was no problem to go into the places we wanted to. The light bites and drinks were a nice touch.

Daniel was a fantastic tour guide. He was very personable and had so much knowledge about the city. He made it a memorable experience by taking us to historical sites and restaurants to try local food, as he shared the history of the city and fun facts along the way. The weather was great and we highly recommend doing this if you are in Quito!

Our experiential walking tour of Old Quito was top quality! We had an engaging, fun, and informative experience. Dan was an exceptional English-speaking guide who was professional, friendly, and easy to relate with. We enjoyed the various engaging activities which helped us to learn in depth more than we typically learn on walking tours. Its all walking, but only a minimal amount of hill or climbing.
Lots of things to see and experience and Dainiel was a fantastic host and guide. He explained everything we saw thoroughly and brought us samples of many local specialties.

Our tour was conducted by Dan. He was brilliant. The tour took us to a selection of places with some food tasting. This tour is more an orientation to give you some insight to places you may like to return to and spend more time. I can highly recommend this tour.
Three hour walking tour of the historic center with lots of stops for tasting local delicacies. Daniel the guide was knowledgable and entertaining and flexible when I suggested a visit inside the golden church.
