Venture beyond Quepos to the mountains located on the edge of the province where you’ll be able to access the upper section of the Naranjo River for this intense whitewater rafting experience. Paddle the river’s section known as "El Chorro" with Class IV and V rapids, plus steep drops, tight rock walls, and technical routes. This experience is only available during the dry season.

Exhilarating rafting excursion! Phenomenal experience rafting thru the mountains and jungle of Costa Rica. Our tandem guides of Luis and Mangany were so good! Luis was on our raft guiding us and keeping us safe and having the time of our lives, while mangany was out ahead of us on a kayak getting us pictures of the adventure. Would highly highly recommend if you’re looking for some thrills! Our best excursion in 3 different trips to Costa Rica, will most certainly do it again when we return!

This rafting trip was absolutely incredible! My family has been on several rafting adventures in different countries, and this was by far the most thrilling and fun experience we’ve ever had! The rapids were exhilarating—easily the best we’ve encountered—so be ready to get soaked and have a blast.
Our guide, Flippy, was fantastic! He was not only hilarious but also incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about Costa Rica throughout the trip. The entire experience was well-organized, and the energy from the group made it even more unforgettable.
The photos they took captured every exciting moment, and the price was very reasonable—definitely worth it to relive the adventure! Without a doubt, the next time we visit Costa Rica, we’ll be booking this tour again. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable rafting experience!

This was by far our best excursion here in Costa Rica! The staff were really friendly and our guide was extremely knowledgeable and funny! Would definitely recommend and we will be coming back when return to Costa Rica! Pura Vida!

Thrilling trip down the rapids with several heart-stopping drops but no capsizing thanks to Jason’s expert direction, phew! We also loved the stop for cliff diving!
A great deal with lunch included. An all-around amazing day.

Let me start by saying we had a wonderful time. Our guides were true professionals and kept us all alive! It’s was super dangerous. It’s actually running at a level V and if your family isn’t into near death Rafting I suggest a different part of the river. El Chorro is extreme! We survived it, it was a rush to say the least and our guides worked so hard and collaborated as a team 💯. I can only say I am grateful to have been with such a well prepared team. P.S. it was beautiful
