Itinerary
Meet your driver and guide when your ship docks at the Puntarenas pier, and travel by air-conditioned minivan roughly 1 hour to reach the Turu Ba Ri adventure park. Along the way, pass by fruit stands, farming villages, and sugar, mango, and citrus plantations that dot the countryside. When you arrive at the park, take a break to use the restrooms and have a short walk around before preparing for your flight with a safety orientation and provided harness and helmet.
Then, descend from a mountaintop on an exhilarating zipline course featuring 11 platforms, 2 hanging bridges, and 8 cables that stretch a total of 1.2 miles (2 km). Feel the tropical breeze on your face and get an adrenaline rush as you soar through various levels of the rain forest. Experienced guides are on hand the whole time to ensure your safety.
When you reach the end of the course, climb aboard a suspended aerial tramcar for a leisurely 10-minute ride back to base camp, offering stellar views of the Tarcoles River. The slower pace of the tram allows you to take in the sights, sounds, and smells of the jungle and look for native wildlife such as white-faced monkeys, scarlet macaws, and chestnut mandible toucans.
Back at the visitor’s center, treat yourself to a drink at the bar or a typical Costa Rican dish from the restaurant (own expense) before the return transfer to your waiting cruise ship.

Awesome tour. Our guide was awesome. He does tours on both coasts and purchased things for us to try that came from the Caribbean coast when he was there the day before. He came prepared with show and tell of Cashews, Coca bean bud. It was amazing. Our Zip-line was amazing as well. There were only 3 couples on our bus. One couple did horse back riding, another did a walk thru the jungle My husband and I were the only ones on the zip line tour. We also toured the river to look at the Crocodiles. Our guide was so knowledgeable, the he narrated the boat trip for the driver and pointed out all of the different birds.
