One of the highlights of our trip! I’d absolutely recommend this tour. Mauricio was so knowledgeable and a wonderful guide. We saw lots of wonderful animals and creatures and loved getting to be in the forest at night. A must for part of your Costa Rican travels!

Our guide was nice and knowledgeable. He really made an effort to make sure we saw as much as possible. We saw frogs, bats, snakes, dragonflies, toucans, kinkajous, and even a baby and mama sloth.

I enjoyed being in the rainforest at night. We saw lots of bugs, some birds, and a kinkajou. The tour guide was fun and informative. Unfortunately there were many other tours in the same place and it got somewhat crowded. I also felt like the tour guide could have communicated better with the large group.

Our guide was clearly very skilled at spotting things. We were able to see a pit viper snake, tarantulas, a sleeping humming bird, a moss stick insect, some crazy bioluminescent beetles, an armadillo, and some howler monkeys. We enjoyed our time, even though the park was very crowded with other groups.

It is different feeling to take night tour at Monteverde. Kind of scary to walk at night but very interesting to see some birds or insects that we may only have better view at night. The tour guide has very good vision and find birds, snake or insects easily. Highly recommended.

Very nice activity. We were a small group of 6 and our guide -Mauricio- was super knowledgable and friendly. We had the chance to spot many animals such as sloth, snake, sleeping toucan and other birds and the extraordinary creature, the walking stick insect - impossible to spot if you are not an expert. Mauricio provided a lot of info about the animals and overall this was a very nice experience. Hiking was normal. Recommended.

Amazing experience! This tour was totally worth it. Our guide was so welcoming, fun, and knowledgeable. He really cared about the experience we had, and his love for Costa Rica’s wildlife was infectious. Would 100% recommend. It’s amazing how our guide found and showed us so many Monteverde creatures in 2 hours! We saw a toucan among other wild birds, a tree armadillo, various insects with uncanny camouflaging abilities, and a green viper.
The pace ebbed and flowed - sometimes we were relaxed observing a stick bug, other times we had to hustle to see a viper on the move. Our guide was expedient and set us up for success to see all the critters. He was proactive about getting telescope photos for each party on the tour too!
The biodiversity of Monteverde is so unique and this was a great way to experience and learn about it. Would highly recommend this tour (and packing in a poncho and shoes with good traction for this adventure)!

We had a fantastic tour with Mauricio at Three Brothers. He was incredibly knowledgeable about plants, trees and of course animals. He also spotted several animals that he then helped other guides find. We saw lots of birds, toucans, an opossum, a snake etc. We also liked that he was passionate about explaining things to us, and cared for our safety. We learned more on this tour than on any else. HIGHLY recommend Mauricio and his company.

We had an amazing experience with Alex - saw two pit vipers, a howler monkey, a toucan AND toucanet, and several frogs. Alex is very passionate and knowledgeable. I would absolutely recommend this tour.

Our guide Eliar was very knowledgeable, found many animals (including snakes, toucans, scorpions,...) and also gave sufficient and clear explanations. Unfortunately, a sloth was not there but we had already spotted it somewhere else.
This trip is definitely recommended.
