Great Activity to Begin Your Stay in PV

We had a wonderful time on this excursion. The tour guide/driver was great and extremely knowledgeable about the city. We learned new features about Puerto Vallarta that we did not know about. The van was clean and comfortable with much needed air conditioning on a hot day. Our tour ended with a delicious lunch and tequila tasting. I would highly recommend this activity.

Bernardo and trainee Martha (his daughter) were absolutely perfect tour guides with 27 years of experience and flawless English. You can tell he loves his city - learned about the history and unique parts of the area. So much good information and plans on where to stop - even drove to show us meeting spots and bathrooms. Perfect places to stop for affordable and tasty food for lunch. We even got a special tamale stop. Highlights were tequila tasting as a perfect ending to the day. And with July starting rainy season, he had everything from waters, to beer to serapes to dry off after our impromptu beach trip and the rain . And best part was we got to choose what we wanted to see so we weren’t rushed. Our trip lasted much longer than the 5 hours without any rushing. Would 100 percent recommend as the only tour you need for Puerto Vallarta. We traveled with kids and grandparents so super mobility friendly too. Perfect day!

This was an amazing way to show my grandchildren (ages 6-18) one of my favorite cities. Bernardo Peña was a knowledgeable, friendly and gracious guide and made the tour even better. Having a spacious, clean and air conditioned vehicle to ride allowed us to just have fun and soak in the beauty of PV and explore the local sites. I have been to PV over a dozen times and yet learned many things about the city and its history I did not know. I would absolutely encourage anyone who wanted to see the sights, experience the food and local culture of PV to go on one of these private tours!

Great way to experience Puerto Vallarta. Perfect for the 2 year old grandson and everyone in between. Loved how the trip was personalized for our needs. Very comfortable van with plenty of room. Highly recommend this tour.

Juan Bernardo Peña was a fantastic guide. He speaks perfect English and explained a lot about the history of Puerto Vallarta. We all learned so much from Bernardo. We made stops at the church, a market, the zona romantico, the lookout point of Banderas Bay, Los Arcos where many go snorkeling. He was so full of information that we all loved. And he explained it all perfectly well. Thank you Bernardo for an absolutely wonderful day.

Excellent family experience

We were a group of 10 wanting to get a more authentic experience exploring the city. We got that and more. Luis was our tour guide and we would recommend him one million times over. Luis not only had expert knowledge about each area we visited, but he really engaged with our archeological, cultural, and historical questions in a thoughtful way. He was so kind and incredibly funny. He even waited for us while we stopped to buy some souvenirs and gave us tips about which stands to visit. Our family had an amazing time. If you're in Puerto Vallarta and want to get to know the area, this is a must do! And ask for Luis, You won't regret your experience!
