A tumble in the jungle

You will need water socks and a bandanna. We had to buy both of these for $36. The ride was ok. After 1 hour we stopped at a gift shop in the middle of no where. It was an obvious way to add to the cost of this. I am at fault for the next part as I flipped my vehicle. Looks like a couple of cracked ribs in the process. The guys leading were very helpful. There was no incident report filed. I am following up with my dr tomorrow

Horrible Booking Experience

When I booked my excursion, I clearly indicated my pickup location as the Taino Bay cruise port. Less than 24 hrs before my excursion, I received an email confirmation with the pickup location listed as Amber Cove and the excursion time from 9am-12pm and my cruise wasn’t even scheduled to arrive until 10am! I immediately contacted the tour operator via chat to inform them that my pickup time and location was incorrect. I waited about 4 hrs and I never received a response so I then reached out to Viator customer service 3 times (which was absolutely horrible by the way) and Viator still never resolved my issue! The first representative Elisa told me that since the excursion began less than 24 hrs before the excursion time, if I made any changes or cancel, I would not receive a refund! I wasn’t asking to cancel and that’s not my fault that the wrong cruise port and time was listed so why should I be penalized for a mistake that the tour operator made? She obviously didn’t comprehend what I was saying so after explaining myself to her all over again she finally offered to contact the tour operator on my behalf, but instead she left me waiting on the chat for over 30 minutes before I got transferred to another representative (no name was given) which I had to explain my situation all over again and all he/she did was offer an apology! The third time I contacted Viator customer service, nobody ever responded so I had to really search to find a contact number for the tour company. I ultimately did get in touch with Rigo which he was super nice and made sure I was picked up from the correct port. The excursion itself was ok but this entire ordeal leading up to my pickup put a bad taste in my mouth and I didn’t even want to do the tour at that point. A word of advice to the tour company - you ask during the booking process for a pickup location so pay better attention to the guest pickup location request. If it’s not feasible to pick up at the requested location, then don’t wait until the last minute to send out a confirmation to give the guest time to make changes. I definitely will never use Viator ever again to book my excursions.

Awesome Experience in the DR!!!

My family and I really enjoyed the atv excursion!!! We rode several miles through the countryside and on the beaches of the DR. It was very senic and beautiful!!! We also did a private tour of the city, which was awesome. Rigo did a wonderful job showing us things you wouldn't normally see on other tours. It was a great experience!!!

This was my first time riding ATVs and I can honestly say it was a amazing experience!! I rate it a 10/10 and would do it again. I would recommend going with Morenita, Darlin & El Lapiz for the best experience.
