What a great day! Everything went seamless from pickup to dropoff. Our guide Jeffy was phenomenal . We learned so much about these beautiful animals , they had been neglected/ and or abused in the past, but now get to live out the rest of their lives at this sanctuary . You can tell they are very well taken care of . We had a great buffet lunch afterwards with lots of choices . I highly recommend this tour.

Amazing experience with Minnie as our guide. She had answers to our million questions. The passion to care for the elephants is obvious. All the facilities were great and lunch was delicious. We were well taken care of throughout the trip, including our transfer from the resort and back. Kids loved it, parents too.

The most amazing experience walking with beautiful elephants that have been worked so hard and have now been rescued. Boots and socks provided, umbrellas for heat or rain and a superb vegetarian buffet. This has been highlight of my holiday and would recommend to everyone as a very ethical sanctuary

The elephant sanctuary tour was amazing! We loved learning about the histories and rescues of the various elephants. The elephants were happy and the staff took really great care of them. There was a delicious vegetarian buffet and snacks as well. Highly recommend this experience!

Not ethical but claims to be you are able to feed the elephants which clearly they are trained to accept food, as soon as we left elephants were put in there cage not free to roam

This is a truly ethical sanctuary that respects the elephants while creating an amazing experience for visitors. The staff is all so kind and attentive. I’d definitely return and encourage others to visit their sanctuary if they want to support their mission to rescue and care for abused and elderly elephants.

Loved every minute of this tour - it showed you a different side to the elephants life before they found their forever freedom home. Worth every Penny to help them maintain this sanctuary and hopefully rescue future elephants.

An amazing experience . We were not aware of how much torture elephants go through around Thailand. As humans we were so happy that we got to be educated about that. Yaya our guide was fantastic. Whoever is reading this make sure to book and experience that !

I've always loved elephants, so this was certainly one of the highlights of our trip. While there are so many elephant tours to choose from, I really wanted to choose an ethical experience, and this was the perfect one! This sanctuary truly cares about the elephants they rescue, and it was amazing to see the elephants be free to roam around and do as they wish. Ending the experience by getting to feed the elephants was also super cool!

What an incredible organization! This tour was educational and fun and the buffet dinner was delicious. Our tour guide was Rudi - he was kind and patient with kids, a local with stories and tons of information. Everything was well organized and safe. The work they are doing at this sanctuary to provide refuge to elephants in their retirement is commendable. Plus we got close up, hands on time with the elephants too but in an environment that is kinder to them. Highly recommend this tour to everyone!

We had very limited time so the taxi ride and tour had to go like clockwork otherwise we were concerned about missing our ship. It did go like clockwork having a wonderful driver who had an assistant waiting for us at the 7-11 store near the tender landing who called the driver asa we arrived. The journey took around 45 minutes but worth it. We explained our time constraints and our driver along with the staff at the Santuary made it work for us they were all marvelous. We had a full hour with the elephants and it was just fabulous to see the different elephants looking so well kept and happy. We were able to walk so close to them (a keeper at close hand) along with our tour guide who was informative. We missed the food they were going to serve to the visitors as they knew we had to get back to the harbour side - they took us independently back to the office where our driver was waiting for us. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and made it back in time. Thank you and keep up the good work

We thouroughly enjoyed this sanctuary. We learned so much about how elephants are abused and mistreated amd gained a newfound respect for them. We observed and even got to feed them. This was one of the highlights of my trip! Definitely would recommend this very ethical sanctuary!

This is a wonderful experience ,which enables you to see these beautiful creatures in their natural habitat .
They are cared for so well and it was lovely to see them so close up .
We had such a wonderful day and all the staff are very kind and knowledgable.

Wonderful trip. Learned loads about the elephants. So good to see how well they are cared for in a very natural environment. Sorry can't remember our lady guide's name but she was excellent. She clearly has a passion for the elephants and her role.

We spent a wonderful afternoon at the Phuket Elephant Sanctuary. We were picked up at our hotel and transported to the PES in a nice clean air conditioned van. Once there, we watched an eye opening video about the common life of the Thai Elephant and the abuses that they endure and how they came to be rescued by the PES and rehabilitated to live out the rest their lives at the sanctuary. We met many of the elephants and heard what they had been through. We were given rubber boots to walk through the sanctuary. At the end we were able to feed two of the elephants. Lastly, we were served a nice lunch. I highly recommend this ethical sanctuary where there is no bathing with or performing of the elephants.

We went in “low season” in the afternoon only 3 pairing of people we all had our own guide. She was really nice and informative. Very personal, loads of time and photo opportunities.
