Overview

Spend a day at sea with this tour. Your driver will pick you up and take you to Krasom Pier, where you'll hop on a longtail boat and head out for a day on the bay. You'll visit James Bond Island and Wat Suwan Khuha (aka the "monkey cave temple"), do a bit of sea canoeing, and stop for lunch at the floating village of Panyi.

Hapi, Lena and the third guide (I forget his name), were so great. They helped my husband participate despite being in a walking boot with crutches since he had broken his ankle the day before. They practically carried him in and out of the boat! I thought we would spend more time in the sea kayaks (only about 30-45 min), but with everything else we got to see there would not have been enough time.

Great tours and view. Good crew. Least impressive was lunch at Koh Panyi. Food only ok. We wondered how long it had been sitting out in heat without refrigeration.

An amazing day full of amazing experiences. My favourite was the sea canoe. Lunch was delicious, James Bond Island great to see and enjoyed the long boat ride. The bus ride was long but gave the chance to see the Thai countryside. Enjoyed every minute

It’s not all James Bond

I would say the James Bond Island was pretty cool, but way before that you see so so much more with visiting the village and touring through the surrounding waters. Don’t focus so much on the island as it is crowded. Look at all the other things that you get to do on this trip.

Not really worth a whole day

This trip could’ve been much shorter. They do not tell you it’s at least hour and half from Patong to the Marina. The guide Emma was the best thing I can say about this trip. She was very knowledgeable and watched our things while we explored. They said we were going to snorkel but the water near the James Bond rock is very murky and definitely not for snorkeling. The first stop to canoe in the cave was cool but those were the only two islands we really saw. The 3rd stop was for lunch at a restaurant and only had shops. Then last stop was at a monkey cave temple. The tour info does not advise that this is a temple and you need clothes to cover for a woman. I used my beach towel. The cave was very dull. Nothing to see after you climb at least 3 flights of stairs. Some people fed the monkeys outside the cave temple but again the booking info was very misleading and it was not worth the time. All in all it was cool to see the rock and the first cave but not sure what 5 islands we really explored.

The long tail boat ride is so enjoyable. You see the natural vegetation up close. Kayaking thru and around the cave is fab. James Bond Island is a tick off the bucket list! The floating village is worth seeing how these Muslims live. Mr Happy is really great. Well organised.

Late pick up with no explanation causing anxiety at the beginning then a rushed experience to make up the time lost causing the time at Panyee which l was really looking forward to, to be very rushed and not enjoyable. Separately the english of the Tour guide was poor

The guide Mr Happy is pleasant and so as leaders. The only disappointment was food served at the floating village which is fried rice with fried chicken and soup. We can pay more to enjoy the other delicacies

Memorable day trip. Perfect no fuss no rush resort transfers each way. A very busy & long day with many different sightseeing stops. Longboat a little hard to enter but very helpful staff. Great lunch @ floating village. Happy was the best tour guide ever, extremely helpful & informative - always ensuring every guest had all their belongings, offering to take photos & generally being professional. Recommended

Sea canoeing and monkeys were fun

The sea canoeing was the absolute stand out of this tour. We loved that part. And the monkey cave was fun. The rest was just okay. James Bond island wasn’t that special really and while the floating village was interesting to see, you walk around and just get bombarded with buying things same as in the shopping strips. What they don’t tell you is it’s a 3 1/2 hour trip from Kata/Patong because you spend an hour driving from hotel to hotel before eventually heading on the tour. People on our tour were running late so the driver left and then returned to pick them up! An hour stuck in the cramped bus with no water was definitely not a fun way to start a tour.

Great guide, filled with activities

This was an awesome tour, i booked it last minute and had great communication about pick up and what to expect. Happy was our tour guide and he was very nice and personable. We had a conversation about where i was from and he took pictures of me and remembered my name the whole trip. Its definitely worth the money, its packed with so many things i was exhausted halfway through. Do note that the drive from Phuket is about an hour or more depending on pick ups and drop offs, i didn’t realize and napped on the way. We also were not able to swim because of low water levels. Go expecting not to swim but prepare in case you are able to.

Loved this tour!!! It lasted from ~10AM - 4PM (included hotel pickup). We got to - visit multiple islands (including James Bond Island) - the floating Muslim village (inclusive of a delicious lunch!!!), - and sea canoe with our group (the cherry on top!) I recommend bringing a few hundred Baht for tips and any shopping you might want to do on James Bond / in the village for trinkets. Overall, absolutely loved the day with had with our group in Phang Nga bay!
