We loved this tour so much. We went to two amazing wineries and also Margaret River Chocolate's. We opted for the River cruise on the way back. It was so relaxing. We indulged on lovely cakes, fruit, coffee and wine and the entertainment was superb. I highly recommend this tour.

1st winery at Mandoon was excellent but 2nd at Lancaster was outside in uncomfortable hot setting. Chocolate factory was delicious. Cruise was lots of fun...champagne, snacks and a view of millionaires row made us all very envious. Despite notifying Capt Cook cruises (because there is no contact # for Viator) 2 full days ahead re changes to my booking (3 to 2) they charged me for 3 people and I am still waiting for a reply...and a refund.

The other people on the tour were friendly and made the experience worthwhile. Did not feel that the operators delivered on the advertised tour components- no commentary at any time either on the bus or the Swan River cruise. No afternoon tea as advertised. Great entertainment, credit to the crew for that

Too rushed, felt like cattle at feed trough at first winery the rush out of enjoyable experience at second winery only to stand around chocolate factory for 1/2 hour. Fortunately the cruise was an most enjoyable experience

What could have been a very good trip, turned out to be pretty average. The first vinyard required six wine samples to be swallowed in quick succession with very little backround to the wine. The quality of the wine in the second 'boutique' vinyard was variable, with the highlight being the cheese platter. Very few bottle were purchased at either vineyard.We were then quickly transport to the chocolate shop which included free samples, but these were the generic chocolate available to anybody who walked through the door.Finally transported to the boat for the cruise back down the river to Perth. Already onboard were the passengers from the morning trip, and when seated, the master of the vessel announced that there would be no commentary as the first group had already heard the commentary and would be bored.

Wineries were very good. Commentary on coach trip was excellent. However river trip would have been much more interesting with commentary. There were people on board who did trip both ways presumably with commentary on the way up. Maybe do it on the way back for everyone

The wines were very good and showcased the variety produced in WA. The Providore at the chocolate outlet had excellent jams and relishes for tasting, together with chocolate liqueurs. Our coach driver was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The river cruise was relaxing and scenic, and the onboard singers were talented and really made the experience special.

The tour we originally booked was cancelled due to insufficient numbers but we managed to get on an alternative tour same day so we didn't miss out on the wines, cheese and chocs and the Swan Valley scenery. The tour included 3 wineries, a brewery and a chocolate shop and was very relaxing and well organised. The driver/guide Kim was friendly and informative. Prompt refund of the price difference was a nice surprise.

The two wineries were both lovely but very different. Our driver talked to everyone and was a real character. Cruise on Swan river was beautiful and when a crew member entertained us with some great singing it made the day.

This was a very good 1/2 day. Took the bus up to swan valley. Stopped at 2 different wineries, wine sampling was unlimited at both and then went to the chocolate tour which we had 4 samples of chocolate liqueur. After chocolate tour went back to winery and took boat back to Perth. Boat was full but had lots deserts and fruits and unlimited wine for free. There was upcharge in some wine if wanted but otherwise free. Great overall tour. Take this tour before the full day Margert River Tour

Peter our bus driver was so informative and funny at the same time. We travelled in a comfy and clean bus.
We visited 2 wineries sampled many wine varieties, tasted the local cheese, then visited a chocolate store.
We then boarded a ferry which provided us more wine, coffee tea and cakes, Al whilst being entertained by one of the staff who had everyone singing, whilst we cruised our way back to Perth.
It was a great way to spend half a day in the Swan Valley.

Very well organised trip.
It was a hen party for my future daughter in law & because the ages ranged from 21 to 80 it suited everyone. From Peter on the bus very friendly to the crew on the cruise & the 2 wonderful singers, it was a very enjoyable day.
The weather was perfect.
The only negative would be may be add a couple of savoury items to the afternoon tea.

Lovely day touring in Swan Valley by bus. Excellent wine tastings with cheese selections. The chocolate factory was fun and the chocolate liqueurs were divine. The boat cruise home to Perth was full of great wines, food and funky party singing entertainment from the four attendants. Everyone danced the day away!

A pleasant trip east of Perth out in a small van, stopping at a large and a small winery for tastings (and buying). Return via the riverboat is a very leisurely way to see a bit of the western Australia countryside.

Thanks for an awesome day. The bus trip bus great and our host was lovely and kept us entertained the whole trip.
The only let down, was there was no commentary of points of interest on the boat journey home.

The best part of this tour is the cruise home along the Swan River. This is not a true wine and cheese tasting tour. 2 small plates of cheese for 35 people and a few crackers is not cheese tasting. You were lucky to even get a piece of cheese as plates were placed on a table and it was help yourself. Never have we experienced such a disgusting experience called ‘wine tasting’ in our lives. People serving wine were yelling at you telling you what you were drinking, if you could understand them. There was little information about the wines and how they are made, or age, climate, soil, taste etc. At one place, and we only went to 2 wineries, the lady serving virtually ran the bottle along glasses, which we were told “put them on the bar or you miss out”. We wished we hadn’t paid any money for this tour. Our driver was grumpy and wouldn’t answer questions until everyone was on board the bus - we were waiting for one more person. Absolutely bad promotion of Swan Valley and would not recommend others do this one.

I'm sorry you did not enjoy your experience with us. We experienced extremely busy period with the Blediscoe Cup last weekend and all venues were pushed to carry out wine tasting in a timely matter before the boat departed. When it is a big group it is difficult to give a speech over the chatter, but they are more than happy to answer questions during the pour for those who are interested.
I believe the driver was delayed (and perhaps unable to answer your questions) because he was trying to find the last person to board before leaving the city. The guides like to have everyone on board so they can give the information to everyone at the same time and answer any questions then.
Normally we receive extremely good reviews on this tour with the generosity of the cheese and wine as well as chocolate on offer.

The bus drivers were great, the wine interesting, the boat trip back to Perth a dream!
Met new friends, purchased some very good wine, i took with me a friend from Chile and Ghana and they could not wipe the smile off their faces.
Proud to show off this part of Western Australia and the kind people who live here.
