I had an absolutely fantastic time on this wine tour! We visited three wineries, one gin distillery, and a chocolate shop—such a great variety and incredible value for money. I'd highly recommend joining the tour to save time on transportation and, of course, so you can enjoy the tastings without worrying about driving. The atmosphere throughout the day was wonderful, and it was a great opportunity to connect and chat with fellow travelers from around the world. A special shout-out to our driver, Sue, who was incredibly helpful, punctual, and professional from start to finish. She made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Definitely a 5-star experience!

A wonderful afternoon tasting wines from 3 wineries followed by a small gin distillery and a chocolatier. A great sample of what Swan Valley can offer. Sue was a wonderful guide with a very interesting way to simplify WA and Swan Valley history. Absolutely recommend this tour.

Pick up was 40mins late which we understand things happen. But the whole tour was rushed as I assume the driver needed to be back at same time. Was not as enjoyable as the many other tours we have done of swan valley. Felt stressed

We booked this tour hoping to see a little more of Perth in our time there and it did not disappoint. Sue, our guide was amazing, knowledgeable and up for a laugh. The 3 wineries we visited were all different to each other but beautiful in their own right. The wines were yummy and the cheese board was delicious. The standout was Tyler's wines, I hope future parties get to attend this little gem. It truly felt like we were in their home/backyard. Pick up and drop off was a breeze. What a great day out!

A great afternoon out at a few excellent small vineyards/distilleries with a small group. The tour leaves the city behind and you are quickly driving through Riverland and farms, while learning a little about the reason why the area was settled. Our tour guide, Arnold, was lovely and very helpful. We enjoyed hearing a little bit of local history of the Swan Valley region. Our group had interstate visitors, as well as travellers from Singapore, Brasília, Switzerland and England. The wineries visited offered excellent selections and we found that we enjoyed many of the varieties offered. The individual hosts were friendly and knowledgeable, and on the day of our tour, two of the growers also provided delicious cheese platters to accompany their wines. We also visited a distillery and sampled some great infused gins., and a chocolate factory. We really enjoyed the afternoon, bought a few bottles to have now and also take home. Lunch was not included, so either bring a snack or have a late breakfast. We absolutely enjoyed ourselves and would recommend it. Beautiful wine was a lot closer than the Margaret River!

We had a fantastic tour guide, Sue who took us to Twin Hill, Olive Farm, Nikola Estate wineries. We also stopped at Sin Gin distillery and Whistlers chocolate factory. Whilst we enjoyed the half day tour, it would have been nice to have a bit longer at one of the wineries for a proper lunch as the cheeseboard included was not enough to sustain a large group of people (2 small platters amongst 18 people) and there wasn’t any other opportunities to purchase food.

I thought this tour was good. We were able to see three wineries and it definitely felt like a decent amount of time and good value for what we got. The driver was also extremely friendly and drove me home at the end of the day which I appreciated.

So much fun! The guide was very good and gave us a lot of background information. The only reason for 4 stars was because there are so many wineries and attractions- I really wish I would have booked the full day tour- to see more and not feel as rushed.

Sue was a great guide and Nickola winery was lovely but the other winery's were average, one hostess at a winery was very rude!!! We live in a wine region and l have never come across a host that was so bossy and aggressive!

Fantastic experience, we absolutely loved the selection of wines and gins available to try. It was very easy to find the pick up point. Our favourite was Lancaster, we think this should be saved as the last one (we'd have bought a lot more if we'd know it was the last). The chocolate stop seemed very unnecessary and a bit random personally. Sin gin was fabulous and loved that they gave you a bit of a talk about the history and process. Highly recommend the trip.

The Half Day Swan Valley Wine Tour is good experience wine tour for those 1st timers. We went to 4 wineries, 1 chocolate factory and 1 Gin factory. The interesting is chocolate red wines that impress me, taste really good for those people love chocolate with red wine will love it, then the chocolate with different kind of wine chocolate, ice cream is very good and coffee gin taste very delicious with smell of expresso coffee and gins people who love coffee will love it. This was an excellent tour, especially if you only have time for a half day. We got to three wineries for tastings, snacks and also a gin distillery and a chocolate specialty store! So plenty of value for the money and you can't beat wine tasting with a DD ;-) The wine at each stop was great and we learned a bit about the history of wine in the region. All in all, we definitely recommend this tour while you are in Perth.

Quality wineries, wines & tour

For a half day tour we visited & tasted a lot without feeling rushed. We stopped at 3 of the top wineries in the Swan Valley with premium wines to taste, along with a Gin distillery & topped off with chocolate tastings. Cheese boards also offered at two of the wineries with quality produce. Sue our guide was excellent! Very knowledgeable & passionate. A great day out and I will be taking more visitors to Perth on the Black Swan tour. Good value for money! Thank you Sue 😃

Hello For this trip, I spent nearly 60 AUD for Uber because the pickup point given for us at last minute. In my booking, there’s 4 pickup point to choose and we were there on time. The bus was there but the driver did not check our names and said we were not in the list. We were left at that place and I had to go swan valley for the next pickup point. The bus left us again even after I contacted the customer service team. Then I had to go to the visitor’s centre and they tried to call the bus driver and we were asked to go Lancester. We took an Uber again and when we reached there, it was the driver who left us in the 1st pickup point. The communication with us and the driver from Viator is completely different. Now I don’t know who is going to pay my additional Uber charges. Chocolate factory was closed and there were no alternative places we went. That’s a waste for us to pay this much and we’re not enjoying the planned itinerary. I appreciate if you can refund us partially since we did not manage to go one of the place.

We were picked up by Claire who was very punctual and gave us fun information about the general area during the drives. We visited 5 wineries each offering 4-5 tastings. Every location was unique in surroundings and vibe and the staff were very passionate and gave details on each tasting. Despite the number of locations we never felt too rushed to enjoy the scenery or to buy any products. We would definitely recommend this tour and felt it was good value for money.
