The little train Ride on Busselton Pier was magical.
The two wineries we visited in Magaret River area were beautiful.
The coastal visits were magnificent.
The beautiful old trees in the forest visit were stunning.

We missed the Bunbury farmers market because other travellers were late.
We were not welcomed at the winery.
There were too many short stops and lunch should have been included.

Please accept my sincere apologies for missing the stop at Bunbury Farmers Market during the tour.
On the day, I waited for a late-arriving guest and did not want anyone to miss the trip. Unfortunately, this caused a delay to our schedule, and as a result we did not have sufficient time to stop at Bunbury Farmers Market for breakfast and a rest break. Instead, we stopped at a nearby service station.
Regarding lunch, lunch is not included in this tour product and this arrangement has been consistent for several years for all guests. If the description you saw indicated otherwise, it may be due to inconsistent information from the booking platform. I would greatly appreciate it if you could let me know where the booking was made so that we can review and update the description accordingly.

It is a full on tour, tour guide David put up a lot of efforts to make sure the itinerary carried out smoothly without trouble, well appreciated his efforts and hours of driving throughout the safe and fulfilling journey.
Bcos we have a big group of 20 people and David managed to stick on the itinerary with his excellent time management.
Weather was terrific for a full day outdoor tour🥹

We had a wonderful tour today, and it’s all thanks to our guide, David. Although the trip was quite hectic—especially since I was traveling with my 3‑year‑old—David went above and beyond to make the experience as comfortable as possible. He is an excellent driver, with smooth handling and no sudden stops, which made the journey stress‑free.
David was incredibly supportive, especially when my child was struggling with the car seat. Thanks to his quick thinking and planning, everything worked out perfectly. His patience and care truly stood out, and I’m grateful for the effort he put into making the tour enjoyable for us.
If you have the any other tours that is led by David please let me know. I would like to book that tour. Overall the experience was very good.

Although this tour was interesting and our driver/guide (David) was good I was disappointed that what I had booked wasn’t what I got! The tour, when booked, was supposed to include a wine tasting at Juniper Winery, a chocolate tasting at Margaret River Chocolate Factory, and a visit to The Thrombolites at Lake Cliffton. We went to a different winery and while we could do a wine tasting, for an additional cost, this winery said they were in no way affiliated with the tour company. We did get a very brief visit to the Chocolate Factory, only because I had asked the driver about its omission from the itinerary, and I think everyone on the tour bought something there. We weren’t the only ones on our tour who had been expecting this stop. The visit to the Busselton Jetty was very good. We never did see the Thrombolites!

Thanks for your feedback. As I mentioned with your conversation and this tour hasn't included Thrombolites for ages and as memory it only was included for the first year since 2018 and then stopped due to long time and distance.
For the factory, I have given you a favor for a quick stop and I explained that it is not included in the itinerary in Summer and Autum. and only going there during winter and spring. It is seasonal. not for every trip.
I am sorry to hear that you couldn't do wine tasting there which surprised me as well. I didn't know what happened and I saw another review with this same feedback. It never happened before. Unfortunately yes, winery doesn't like big tour group to visit unless pre-booking ahead. For this reason, I will bring future customers to another winery and never go back Vasse Felix, even I think it is great support for their business with a lot of purchase, but unfortunately wineries a lot didn't think about that.
As for the itinerary, I don't know where you booked it, but the one on Viator is the current one with a few years.

A great tour with so many different aspects. Loved the Forest experience. David, our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. It was fun looking for the
stingrays at Hamelin Bay and relaxing with lunch overlooking Surfers Point. If you want to experience a taste of many things this is the tour for you.

The itinerary arranged by the guide felt overly packed with too many unnecessary stops, leaving insufficient time to truly enjoy the key destinations. Disappointingly, the wine tasting experience was canceled due to time constraints, yet we made several random stops that seemed unnecessary. Additionally, the guide mentioned that we returned to Perth 40 minutes earlier than his usual schedule (before 7 pm instead of after 7:30 pm), which made me question whether there were other reasons for skipping the tasting.
I also found the stop at the market to buy breakfast pointless—most people eat breakfast before joining a tour, and the timing didn’t allow enough opportunity to shop anyway.
Overall, the tour could have been much better with a more thoughtfully planned schedule and greater flexibility in activities and dining choices. I would have preferred to spend the time on the beach instead of taking the train at Roy Morrys Platform.

Hi, thanks for your feedback. Due to the high season and booking received just hours before the trip. I have to make some changes for the itinerary and turn it around otherwise majority of them will miss the jetty train.
You book the trip as stated in the itinerary with long distance drive. There is no other option not making the journey like that once the itinerary has been turned around in order to catch up with the train at 3pm. Apology for this journey but never on purpose for this arrangement. Multi day tour might be a better option to explore with your own time and enjoy what you want.
If there was another chance, I would not turn the journey around and will make it more pleasant as what those customers reviewed for this products.
I acknowledge this trip was not pleasant including my own feeling, what I can say is that I felt regretful for what happened and will avoid it in future.

This tour is worth doing the beach/jetty train/forest walk/wine tasting were fun. We also saw a sting ray at one of the beach stops.

David was a great driver, commentary informative, really liked the winery, would have been good to have warning that a wine tasting wasn't booked. Busselton jetty was the only paid inclusion, so be prepared for this. We had a full itinerary which was really well chosen. We don't mind a bit of rushing at times, so suited us well. Not much room in the bus for our legs. Others on the tour were lovely. We saw so much on the day. What a beautiful state, windswept beaches with no one there, beautiful forests, perfect. Pair this with a swan valley tour and you will have seen a lot. Thank you David.

Positives: David was cheerful, friendly, a safe driver and gave good commentary; walk through Bunbury markets; Busselton jetty train fare incl; Karri Forest walk;
Negatives: not as advertised on web-full mini bus(13) - supposed to be capped at 7; no wifi although large area no coverage anyway; drove through Margaret River without stopping; winery not expecting us and initially unwilling to serve our tasting; lunch very ordinary - conflicting adverts said lunch included or her not included- and chipped crockery; stops to observe beach- most of us live by the sea…and find stingrays which weren’t there; no Cape Leeuwin but advertised.. too far! That was a must see for me..disappointed!
David asked for tips as we alighted at last rest stop on way back.!! A no no!

As for the bus, I am going to get a bigger one for more customers in future.
For WIFI, I don't know where you booked this and as for the updated itinerary, this has been stopped without WIFI in the bus, but not raised during the trip and can be shared anyway.
I wish I could stop in town however for the long day, no time to stop or get something there. Service from winery is out of my control and they need prepayment for wine tasting but this is not included. Definitely, lunch is not included appreciated if you could advise where you booked this and I will find out for the update to be consistent for all ads on the website.
Stingray encountering is seasonal but no guarantee. Cape Leeuwin lighthouse is not in the itinerary for long.
For the tip, it is a general practice in tour industry, and I mentioned that it is totally up to customer themselves and not compulsory. Some customers are happy to give, but they don't have to.
I hope this can clarify your concerns or questions. Thank you again for your feedback and I will review the product to ensure its accuracy. We do what we promise all the time.

Beautiful weather was the only good feature. A rushed trip with NO COMMENTARY despite asking for it. Shocking driver (Chris) who yawned and rubbed his eyes continually. Reasonably English but absolutely no knowledge of anything. Very disappointing and I am only half way through the day. So far all we have seen ex ept for the amazing Busselton Wharf is a lot of road - about 5 hours of it - and no info from the driver. I want my money back!!!

Hi Irene, apology that you have a negative experience for the trip. But we are happy to see that you still enjoyed part of the journey. Actually, it is a long day trip to cover a lot of things which requires time management to ensure the trip is smooth. Multi-day trip would be a good option if longer stop needed. As for NO Commentary, the guide is still in training and he needs more time to learn and then share, and as a team, he will be provided more guidance to ensure he can do his duty properly with more details about this trip. Safety is the priority for the tour and due to the long driving and riding, anyone may feel tiring or show some signs of fatigue. All our guides have been trained to follow the safety guideline and ensure they can drive safely. I understand customers may have concerns, but we have maintained very good safe operation record for over four years. David Chin, in his Toyota mini bus, provided a thoroughly enjoyable tour of the Bunbury, Busselton and Margaret River area south of Perth. The tour, with only seven guests, took 13 hours and covered some 700 kms reaching about 300 kms south of Perth. A highlight of the tour was our ride on the Busselton Jetty train a journey on the pier stretching some 1.8 km into the Indian Ocean. We also visited Hamelin Bay to view stingrays, a Kauri Forrest and had lunch at Prevelly in the Margaret River area. David is very knowleagble and courteous and keen to help. We can thoroughly recommend this adventure.

We were picked up from our hotel by driver David and started our long drive in a very comfortable mini bus. After picking up a second guide (apologies but we forgot his name) we proceeded through open country, passing grazing kangaroos, cattle, wineries and fruit farms. Our first stop was Bunbury farmer market. The fruit and veg displays were amazing and the pies and cakes fantastic. It was then onward, to the Busselton Jetty for an amazing train ride on the oldest wooden jetty in the southern hemisphere. We then proceeded to Hamlish?? Bay and the beach overlooking the ocean. After a brief stay, we continued on for lunch, where the food, although not included in the tour price, was freshly prepared and plentiful. We drove a little way up the hill with the intention of watching the surfers, but, unfortunately there was no swell, so we took advantage of a very scenic photo opportunity and saw where the Margaret river enters the ocean. Finally, we called in Juniper wines for a very good tasting, even purchasing a bottle!!. On the long drive home we had ample comfort stops and were advised to 'shout up' if we needed more. After a very long day we were dropped off very close to our hotel.

Driver was not a tour guide. Advertising said hotel pick up and drop off but nobody informed the driver. Description states that lunch and wifi would be provided. Neither was on the ticket marked non refundable. Tour was supposed to be capped at 7 people. There were 11 on the bus. Worse part was the driver was unsafe. He seemed very tired and had trouble staying in his lane.

We have opted for english speaking guide but was assigned a chinese speaking guide due to the rest of the group are chinese. Luckily we can still understand and speak mandarin. Not much of introduction of margaret river area from the driver. But the busselton jetty tour is good.

This tour was extremely overpriced, not enough time spent at Margaret River or Busselton. The only inclusions were the train at Busselton Jetty, wine tasting (not impressed). Lunch not included etc.
Too many stops made it a very rushed day. The tour guide was stressed to get us to all our stops causing some very dangerous driving.
Motel pick up was not offered, though he was able to pick up other people (?). At the end of the tour, we were dropped off at a random spot in the city and told to figure out our own way.
With less stops (e.g. not going to the winery and chocolate shop) there would be less stress and more time to enjoy the natural beauty of the area.

David was very obliging & professional .
Loved the content of the tour.
However we felt very rushed at the specific points of interest therefore unable to fully enjoy the overall experience.
Understand timelines however the purpose of a tour selected is to at least have time too enjoy & not tick & flick.
Margaret River Vineyard , & Margaret river shopping centre could of been more relaxing rather than rushing.
Lunch was very enjoyable a perfect setting also really enjoyed Busselton train experience .
Again would be great if you could enjoy the Busselton underwater aquarium experience.
Suggest the Margaret River Tourist centre for any local purchases .

David picked us up on time at 7a.m from our hotel to drop back at 7p.m we had an amazing day. Crooked carrot, Busselton Jetty train ride, Surfers Point Sea Garden Cafe lunch (grilled fish and salad) yummy!! Down to boardwalk to watch surfing, then seeing where Marg R flows into ocean. A must do was Chokka the Quokka and Karri trees then meeting of the Oceans at Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, returned to Perth via Marg R town and the wonderful Bunbury Farmers Market. The whole day was the best. Just brilliant. Thanks David.

Picked up at 7.00am for a 12hour day. We were picked up in a comfortable SUV as it was just two of us that booked this tour.
David our guide and driver took us to Busselton Jetty for the train ride on a pier which was 1.8kms long.
Also visited 2 wineries in the Margaret River region then lunch at Surfers Point, some fabulous views there.
Visited the lighthouse then on to a chocolate shop.
Our total kms for the day was 790 so
be prepared for a long day of driving, but well worth doing. We had a few stops in between also for a restroom break.
David was friendly, knowledgable and thoroughly explained the history behind each site we visited.
I would recommend this tour to all.
