Weather was uncooperative so we couldn't hit all the planned stops but well worth our time nonetheless. Great way to see Tahiti and learn about the pre-colonial culture. Guide was great, very nice and knowledgeable.

Our tour guide was fantastic he was very knowledgeable and a great host.
The snack break was an added treat and very well received.

Fantastic and informative tour. Mary-Jeanne was so sweet and told so much of the Tahitian History. The van was very comfortable and the AC worked great. Our visit happened to be when there was dangerous flooding on the opposite side of the island which prevented us from seeing the 3 waterfalls although we did see other waterfalls on our drive. The fresh croissant snack was delicious.

The tour was fantastic and the guide even better. She was so knowledgeable and personable. It was very cool that she was the great-granddaughter of the author of Mutiny on the Bounty. The breakfast snack from her mom was a bonus!

Wonderful afternoon. Our driver and guide, Mary Jane, was very knowledgeable. Made for a very enjoyable day. Only 6 people in our group made it a lot more comfortable. I have some difficulty walking but was able to participate at almost every stop.

Firstly an amazing guide, so lovely and so knowledgeable. A small group of 8 in a mini bus seeing all the major sites and with background information and explanations. The tour was an amazing morning we were well looked after and treated like family - in fact treated to a homemade pancake, delicious.
5 stars and would highly recommend it.

This was a great excursion to get to know the island. Our tour guide Mame (spelling?) was awesome. He shared so much information and was a pleasure to travel with. My husband and I would definitely recommend this excursion, especially for someone like us that were in a cruise. It was convenient and so well organised. The surprise treat was also so appreciated. This was one of the best tours through Viator I have ever done, and I have done a lot. We saw the highlight attractions of Tahiti; the tour was paced perfectly. Marie-Jeanne was very relaxed, had a most engaging personality and was very informative; talking with us, not at us. We even visited her mum as we passed her home and she brought out a delicious Tahitian treat that she made for us. Communication pre tour was excellent! Thank you for a most memorable experience that immersed us in Tahiti’s culture, history and natural beauty.

Knowledgeable guide and relaxing half day tour around Papeete. Nice to see and learn a little bit about islands before heading out on our boat. Good for doing something when jetlagged and staying out of sun.

We had a great trip right around the island and visited beautiful waterfalls, a lovely water garden and ancient temple. Snacks were delicious banana crepes made by the operator's Mum.

We had a fabulous time on this tour! Our guide was so much fun, sharing history, culture and daily life as an islander with us. Our group size was 8, the van was air conditioned and comfortable, and our guide was extremely knowledgeable. She took us from one end of the island to the other, with many interesting stops along the way. We also stopped by her family home and her mom treated us to a home cooked snack. Yum!

Beautiful tour of the island by very knowledgeable bilingual guides. I learned a lot about the culture and current state of the island. The highlight was being welcomed to the home of locals who served us a taste of some French delicacies.

Marie is extremely knowledgeable about Tahiti’s history, culture, and traditions. She shared so many interesting stories and insights that really brought each place to life and gave us a much deeper appreciation for the island.

Travel is in an 8 passenger van, but that includes two riding up front with the driver guide.
Places we visited were excellent and we had one exceptional surprise included.
Driver guide was very good but should have used a microphone so guests in the back could hear him easier.

we had an excellent guide Marie who treated us as friends from abroad more than clients. She showed us around the usual tourist destinations in Tahiti with an added bonus to a local farm, with home made banana pancakes and a look to the real life of the locals. Happy time flies fast and we missed an archeological site. Hope to return again to Tahiti for more in depth understanding of the local culture and beautiful scenery.

Excellent communications from the operator (MJ) who speaks and writes fluent English, regarding any delays with pickup times. The guide for our tour was Mana, who was excellent! He kept everything on track and was very personable with the group.
