What a great way to see the island and learn the culture. We saw ruins of temples, waterfalls, gardens, black sand beaches and the lighthouse. We were even treated to homemade pineapple bread and bananas. Hei Mana was an excellent guide with patience, great timing, fantastic picture taking and answering any and all of our questions. A wonderful day in Tahiti and views of both sides of the island and its past.

Tour was great however meeting spot was a major issue and missed the boat until they turned around and came back for my wife and I. I received NO text the night before telling me where the meeting spot was and I could not find anyone with my name on a board. Others on your said same thing, no confirmation text the night before like I have been receiving for our prior Viator tours on this trip. Snorkeling, lunch and guides were all great. We were picked from our hotel on time in a modern 9 seater van. Our driver / tour guide spoke good English and was very knowledgeable on his home country and our tour interest points. We circumnavigated Tahiti with stops at several interest points including a restored Temple (Marea? I think), cave created by wave action many moons ago, 100mtr waterfall, called in at In Laws for pineapple cake and deep Fried Bread Fruit, with the last stop being at Cooks landing point for the Venus transit in 1769. Even found out Capt. Bligh called in to collect Bread Fruit.
A brilliant tour that was excellent value for money.

Mary Jane was a wonderful tour guide. I can honestly say this was one of the best tours we’ve taken. We even stopped my her parents home for fresh baked pineapple cake and bread chips. Very tasty. She was very attentive to our group and nice that it was only 7 people so a more intimate setting and not having to wait for bathroom breaks. A must tour to do when you’re in Tahiti. Request Mary Jane.

Let me start by saying…Wow! If you want to learn about Tahitian history and see some amazing sights, this is a do not miss tour. Our tour guide was amazing and so knowledgeable. We went around the entire island. We saw waterfalls, botanical gardens, white sand beaches, black sand beaches, caves, a lighthouse and ruins. We also got a delicious treat homemade by their family, it was so delightful and something I won’t forget.

A great day circumnavigating Tahiti with Mary Jeanne. The car is comfortable and her company is delightful, we learnt a lot but were not bomabarded with facts , so the trip together was fun and enjoyable. We saw historic and beautiful natural sights. The whole family enjoyed this activity very much . Super easy , comfortable, informative and relaxing … highly recommend

This was a tour of some spots on the island of Tahiti. It was a lot of driving and the sites were okay. It was interesting in our driver was very knowledgeable but I don't think it was enough to warrant the trip.

In our 6 hours touring around the island, our guide explained the geography, culture, education and medical systems as well as the politics of a such a popular tourist destination in what many describe as Paradise. And he did it in equal measures in excellent English and French. We were very happy with our tour.

Our tour guide Mana was an awesome guide who was very knowledgeable about the island of Tahiti. There were 7 guests in his new Hyundai SUV that was immaculate. He took us to all the sites on the itinerary. Beautiful waterfalls, water gardens, sacred temple, venus point black sand beaches and so much more! He took us to a family home where they served us delicious banana crepes and gave each lady a coconut oil perfume. The personal touch was so nice. The tour was 5 hours long and well worth every minute! We highly recommend this tour!

Both Manna and Mary Jane provide excellent customer service. They are native Polynesians, know and love their island. They ensure each customer has an enjoyable experience, even stopping at Mary Jane’s Mom’s house for some homemade dried breadfruit snacks & yummy coconut cake!
They also give each customer a small sample of coconut oil and a few small sea shells. You didn’t feel rushed at the stops and Manna answered all our questions. We went to each stop as advertised seeing the lighthouse, black sand beach, waterfalls, botanical garden, remains of a Polynesian temple by the beach and fresh water cave. Even captured a beautiful Tahitian sunset!

The guided was very good and made the tour very personal.
However the van was difficult to get out of from the third seat if you are elderly or not in good shape.

Weather was uncooperative so we couldn't hit all the planned stops but well worth our time nonetheless. Great way to see Tahiti and learn about the pre-colonial culture. Guide was great, very nice and knowledgeable.

Fantastic and informative tour. Mary-Jeanne was so sweet and told so much of the Tahitian History. The van was very comfortable and the AC worked great. Our visit happened to be when there was dangerous flooding on the opposite side of the island which prevented us from seeing the 3 waterfalls although we did see other waterfalls on our drive. The fresh croissant snack was delicious.

The tour was fantastic and the guide even better. She was so knowledgeable and personable. It was very cool that she was the great-granddaughter of the author of Mutiny on the Bounty. The breakfast snack from her mom was a bonus!

Wonderful afternoon. Our driver and guide, Mary Jane, was very knowledgeable. Made for a very enjoyable day. Only 6 people in our group made it a lot more comfortable. I have some difficulty walking but was able to participate at almost every stop.
