We had an amazing time, amazing food, drinks never ran dry, and awesome ambiance. The crew were all absolutely fantastic. We saw wales, a sea turtle, and tropical fish. The photos taken were amazing. Couldn’t have had a better experience.

This tour was wonderful. The staff were kind and attentive. We got to see birds, whales, and dolphins which were all very exciting. The food was amazing and the vibes were excellent. We also opted for the Hidden Beach addition and that was beautiful and well worth it. I would absolutely book this tour again if I’m ever back in PV!

Ups and downs on the ocean cruise

Total booze cruise. So if you like an open and minimal service when others have gone on activities, this would be fine. Was a little shorter than in the past and the activity time was minimal. The food was minimal and tasted okay. The service was mostly good for drinks when everyone was on the boat. Lots of great views from the boat and even better on the activity trips and seeing whales, dolphins, turtles, and a breaking devil ray was fantastic. Staff was friendly and very accommodating.

While we include an open bar as part of the all-inclusive experience, the focus of the day is on exploring the islands, enjoying marine life, and participating in water activities within the guidelines set by federal environmental authorities. Activity time at the Marietas is strictly regulated to help preserve this incredible ecosystem, and landing windows are carefully controlled. Compared to years past, regulations are tighter today, which can sometimes make activity portions feel shorter than expected. That said, I’m very happy to hear you enjoyed the wildlife sightings — whales, dolphins, turtles, and even a breaching devil ray is an extraordinary lineup for one day on the water! Moments like those are truly unforgettable. I also appreciate your comments regarding food and service. When groups rotate through activities, service flow naturally shifts between those on board and those participating off the boat, but we are always working to improve timing and attentiveness throughout the entire experience. Great Trip with my Family

I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a full day on the water. First, the staff and food were amazing! Second, we saw so many whales and that alone made the trip special. Unfortunately, a couple things to note. We started 45 minutes late and had some engine troubles, so by the time we got to the islands the tide was too high and we didn’t get to go to the beach. I also found the snorkeling was a bit disappointing- I found it a bit rushed and the water was murky. Still a great day and the staff made up for the shortfalls

My fiance & I highly highly recommend this for sure ! Everything was just so worth it . The staff was incredibly amazing and so sweet . The vibes was so on point ! We did the hidden beach and omg please do that if you have the chance too . Big advice is bring something to protect your phone from the water since there’s a lot swimming involved. The food they provide always so good ! I can’t wait to come back .

Cannot get in the water at all without a life jacket

We got two emails telling us not to be late for the person meeting us to arrive 10 minutes late. He then proceeded to tell us to hurry up and get on the bus. Our tour was from Sayulita, it was a 50 minute bus to the start and then back (back had traffic). The boat takes more than an hour to get to the island, which is fine. Crew was going everyone drinks and passed out “breakfast”. Breakfast was a bit of fruit and a mini muffin, no protein and no coffee. Wish we would have known and would have packed better food for ourselves. Worst part was you are required to wear a life jacket at ALL TIMES while in the water, even for just jumping off the boat, which was a big bummer. Also the life jackets were ill fitting, chafing and itchy. Of course the crew was very nice, handing out lots of drinks and helping you around and on and off the boat.

Even solo the make you feel included and will NOT let you fall off a mountain if they can help it (ask me how I know) I had a wonderful time and would love to go again. I would add, if you plan to see the waterfalls, even if you are taking an ATV...bring hiking or running shoes or your flip flops might slip or slide and send you flying off a mountain.

There are more passengers than expected - 10 less passengers would have been more comfortable. The staff is great although the food is average at best. They do not provide kid-size snorkeling gear so bring your own. The music is very loud should you be sensitive to that. It is a long day so be prepared with sunscreen, towels, hat. There is a small indoor mall next to the meeting point where you can get almost anything you need.

It was absolutely amazing. I don’t think anything could have made it better. We did not go more than 2 minutes without a drink in hand, and the food was really good. Staff was so helpful and kind. They even stoped for a decent amount of time to let us look at the whales. I would 10/10 recommend them to anyone. Such a great expirience.

Warning! Good, but you must be physically capable of jumping out of a John boat into ocean waves for activities.

The staff were amazing. The food was great. The activities included floating at a beach, hanging out by the boat, and snorkeling. Warning! You are expected to jump out of a John boat to participate in the floating beach and snorkeling activities. Even though there was a ladder in the boat, and we asked to use it for our mother, everyone had to still jump out. This was not easy and caused pain.

Great crew, good drinks and decent food. I enjoyed the boat trip a lot. May be it would be possible to offer „young sixties“ to use the ladder to get off the boat. By jumping off the boat I got saltwater in my ears and nose, which spoiled my day a bit. My friend enjoyed swimming and snorkeling a lot, I did not like the obligatory life jackets . Mine was not possible to adjust properly so that swimming was no fun…. Otherwise: GREAT DAY

Not worth it. The staff were amazing, but the island in itself was not worth visiting. They don't take you to the round cave island. It is just a small island with a tiny little beach. Definitely worth skipping.

Amazing from start to finish. The staff makes it so much fun and takes very good care of your needs. This is my third time out with Chico Loco and will go every time. I’m in Sayulita!

Everything was top notch from our pick up in Sayulita to the boat trip itself. Raul kept the vibes and the drinks flowing. The food was very good. They served fruit and a muffin for breakfast and a delicious fajita lunch with rice and beans for lunch after our time on the island. The island activities were well thought out and timed. A third of the boat swam and had access to a variety of water toys while the other two groups either snorkeled or spent time on a beach. We rotated through the three activities and had plenty to time to enjoy each one. The boat crew was very attentive and knowledgeable about the island and why it is so special. Great day. Highly recommend!
