Absolutely disappointing. We arranged our entire international travel trip to the area for this tour and to see this site, and we assumed Viator would be reputable and helpful - and they were not. Our entire trip was ruined, money wasted on travel and hotels and everything to do this tour through Viator, and at 8:40pm the night before the tour… Less than 12 hours away… We got an email telling us it was canceled. But it was ok… They would refund us our tour cost. But who cares about the tour cost with all the other expenditures? A complete wasted trip, wasted money, wasted time… And even spending an hour on the phone with aviator wasn’t able to fix anything unless I wanted a 15% discount on my next tour. I can guarantee there will be no “next tour” through Viator. They are simply a company that can’t be trusted.
I was here 35 years ago its changed so much. I roamed around alone back then and took it all in myself. Its become a bit touristy now and taking my daughter wasnt the experience I had hoped for her. HOWEVER, our guide Simon, boy was he AMAZING! With every thing we saw he spoke with conviction and I could feel in his heart he is doing the job to help teach us because I did learn alot from him. He was FANTASTIC!! I thank him for the work in educating us with a feeling I've not had from tour guides any other places!!

It is crowded. Plan on walking and stairs. It is a very moving experience. You can't grasp the scope of the atrocity by reading it in a book.

The experience is fine, you don't see very deep things, a bit superficial I would say, but it is worth it, depending on the price as well. The organization is not the best. Although they contacted us to delay our time, at least they notified us the day before, upon arriving there, at the main entrance, there was quite a bit of confusion. We didn't know who we were supposed to meet with, who our group was, and exactly what time we were going to enter. So, in short, we bought the tickets for 8 am, they changed them to 2:45 pm and we finally entered at 4 pm. But it must be emphasized that we bought them a day before, which is quite complicated to find and, perhaps, organize.
