Itinerary

Enjoy a full-day guided bus tour to Negril, including Margaritaville, Seven Mile Beach, Catamaran Cruise, and Rick's Cafe. Start the day with complimentary transportation via air-conditioned bus from your hotel to Maragritaville where you'll have time for lunch on your own (not included) or a chance to explore Seven Mile Beach.

Next, you'll be transported to the marina to meet your friendly crew aboard a luxury catamaran. Order up a drink from the open bar and find a spot to relax on the sundeck while enjoying the reggae music playing over the boat's speakers. The catamaran will stop at a snorkel spot so you can explore the island's underwater attractions. Slip on the provided mask, fins and snorkel and dive into the calm water. Swim among live coral and groups of brightly-colored tropical fish. The boat will sail on to the village of Negril, where the Negril Marine Park offers more opportunities to snorkel among coral reefs and mangrove forests.

During your cruise, stop at famous Rick's Cafe, the prime spot to watch one of the island's stunning sunsets. Opened in the 1970s, Rick's was one of Negril's first restaurants and boasts a 35-foot (11-meter) cliff that locals and adventurous visitors like to use as a diving board, splashing into the aqua Caribbean waters below.

Watch the sun sink below the horizon while enjoying another drink or two from the bar, then dance to reggae music as the boat cruises back to the marina before you return to your hotel via bus.

The Catamaran leaves from Negril in the afternoon. The duration of the tour varies depending on where you are staying in Jamaica. You are transported to Negril by bus, then you have time on the beach and THEN afterwards the catamaran.

Please note: the primary mode of transportation for this tour is via air-conditioned bus with a catamaran cruise included as part of tour in the afternoon.

My daughter and I went to Montego Bay for her annual birthday trip and the Rick‘s Café is a fun place the trip there was so much fun on the boat. We had great music, good food and attentive employees. I would do it every time. I’m there look forward to the next trip.

I'd give this 0 stars if I could.... the driver was 45 minutes late for pick up - took 5 hours from ocho rios. And upon arrival was told my 13 year old son couldn't go on the trip because it's adults only - despite the site clearly listng Friday's as a family friendly cruise day. Complete waste of a day and money! Do not book this - it's a scam

Horrible Experience

We never made our excursion. Someone on your end amended our pick without consent. I chose ocho Rios moon palace as the pick up at no additional charges when I chose it on the site. I told the tour contact that I we needed to be picked up there too. The day of our trip we wee told that we needed to drive 3 hours to Negril. Why would I drive 3 hours for a pick up make that make sense when I was in ocho Rios. My ticket even said pick up at moon palace ocho Rios. This entire experience was deceiving. So my family and I drove an hour and twenty minutes from Kingston because that’s where our hotel were staying was, only to be told we needed to drive 3 hours to Negril. This was a complete rip off. Needless to say we didn’t make the excursion, someone on their end amended our pick up, but they said I did it when I did not. Like I said why would I book an excursion 3 hours away when I’m not even from here, when I booked an ocho Rios tour. I’ve disputed the charges with credit card company.

Excellent time we had. The only was the transportation. We only got an hour at ricks cafe which was not fair after sooo many hours of travel.

The excursion would have been great if we had a more safe driver. He was all over the road and had multiple close call accidents. There was no music played in our long 2 hour ride to Negril. I’ve done this excursion before and previously have stopped at the Negril sign, which we didn’t do this time for pictures. We were told we were taking a 25 minute stop for bathroom and shopping 3 minutes from margaritaville which turned into an hour because the driver had to go back to pick up 2 more people who wouldn’t had fit on the bus nor did they end up coming on the bus which ultimately took time away from us being able to spend in the beach. To prevent these things from happening I will go private tour next time.

50th Birthday Disappointment

Pick up at 4 hotels almost a 4 hr drive there so got to margaritaville at 12. 2.5 hour overlay waiting for the catamaran so got on the boat at 245. Snorkeling got us to Rick's 4:25. Gave us an hour to get food and drinks and back on boat 5:25. Back at margaritaville at 615 and just dropped off now 9:47 pm. Long day. Driver Kevin was amazing, the crew of the catamaran not so great. At Rick's they had us doing waterless transfers. Pretty sketchy and pretty pissy with those not able to follow directions well after an afternoon of drinking on unlimited booze that noone smart served. 50th birthday disappointment.

The tour guides was super energetic & full of dance moves , the complimentary drinks were flowing and non stop . We stopped to Rick’s cafe , and my boyfriend was able to jump off the cliff at Rick’s cafe ,the stop was an hour long . And we got back on the catamaran. Please expect when docking to have to get wet due the fact you have to go through the water to get on the boat .

Everything was spectacular, to our driver to the employees on the catamaran. My friends and I had a BLAST! The best tour ever and so worth your money. The crew on the catamaran were exceptional and made us feel so safe yet we had so much fun on and off the boat. When we got to ricks they didn’t leave us and made sure we were being taken care of and especially not left behind. 10/10 definitely recommend

Great tour but long ride

Great tour that is very fun! The only issue is transportation. We were picked up in Ochi Rios so the bus stopped a million times for pick ups at other hotels coming and going and we had to change buses. I’d suggest booking your own transportation to Montego Bay at the last hotel they pick up at or at the airport. Otherwise plan 4.5 hours coming and going.

DO NOT BOOK - One of the WORSE I’ve experienced

No stars would be a better rating for this waste of time and money “tour”. My group was picked up at 9 AM in the morning only to sit at Margaritaville and be pressured into buying crappy drinks and terrible food until 230pm when the catamaran finally came. There was no reason to pick us up this early when the catamaran didn’t arrive until much much later we sat for over three hours waiting and once we finally got on the catamaran, we rode around listening to extremely loud music with bad speaker and a weak hype man yelling into the mic every 10 minutes. Then we did about 20 minutes of snorkeling, Drove past Rick’s café and came back to Margaritaville. There was no tour, there was no time enjoyed in Negril, there was no information provided about the culture or background of Nergril. We did absolutely nothing but waste an entire day of our vacation to be taken to a crappy money grabbing outpost to purchase crappy food and china made souvenirs. We are staying at an all inclusive hotel. Why would we want to buy non authentic Jamaican food? Why would we want to hang out all day in uncomfortable chairs waiting for hours? They eventually drove us over to Ricks cafe where we spent an 1.5 hours waiting on sugary drinks and frozen burger patties. Yet again more crappy food, crappy drinks and a waste of our time. We god back to our hotel at 930pm so a full day was completely wasted. DO NOT BOOK, save yourself.

Great experience and tour guide Garfield was exceptional. He kept us aware of every step and watched out from the beginning to the end. Only setback was the van we took did not have good air conditioning at all. My daughter got car sick from a lack of air and heat. However our guide made sure she recovered and the rest of the day was amazing. Thank you for the easy rebooking after the tour had to cancel due to weather the previous day.

Not worth it

15 minutes into our trip, we had to change buses because the one that picked us up had an inadequate air conditioner and the driver suggested we open the windows. It was 89 degrees outside with humidity so we said no, and he called in for other bus. That basically delayed our trip and cut into our time at Negril beach. The snorkeling was the worse I have ever seen, wasn't worth getting out of the boat. That was after we had to change catamarans because there were too many people on the one we boarded. How did tour operator not know this ahead of time is beyond me. The transfer from catamaran to catamaran was a nightmare, water was rough and several people struggled in climbing over, including myself. To make matters worse, we had to offboard again and climb on a smaller boat to take us to Ricks Cafe jetty. There was no safe transfer from catamaran to the jetty and several people did not come back on and called in drivers to take them to their resorts. Never again will we do this tour, it would have been half the cost to hire a driver for the 4 of us and skip the nightmare. The workers were great, it wasn't their fault, I blame the tour operator exclusively....just bad mgmt and greed.

A lot of hiccups

I gave 3 stars for a few reasons: 1. The company presented a pickup location different from my residing hotel which led to much confusion. 2. The itinerary doesn’t specify time frames for travel, margaritaville, catamaran and ricks cafe. 3. Didn’t really get the full ricks cafe experience as we were only there for 1 hr. However, the driver Elvis was super cool and made the overall experience ok. My friend was able to get the clear boat photo experience which was really nice. The catamaran crew was pleasant and fun!

Didn't enjoy

During my experience I ended up with motion sickness and so did about 7 others. I enjoyed margaritaville until it was time to get off the boat and me, my sister, and a women I was traveling with from our resort was sexually assaulted. The guy on the crew saw the incident but now they say they have no idea of what I'm talking about. Be careful if you're a women going to these areas.
