The hosts in each of the homes were friendly and they appeared to work hard to give their guests a good experience. While the entree and dessert were nice, the main meal was cold and very unappetising.

Well worth doing. The historical and personal details given were great interest and well presented ,adding greatly . The whole experience added to our time on Norfolk. The dinner and island familiation Tours are a must in our opinion.

There were three destinations on the tour. Two out of the three were fifth generation boring locals who liked talking about themselves. Two out of three of the culinary offerings on the tour were bland - and I'll let you guess which hosts they belonged to ....

It was a great event but the expectation was to sit and share a meal with the owners not, just be served and have them stand and watch.

The generally stand and have a chat with everyone so that they are able to give the answers and speak about it and have everyone hear. The food was delicious and the stories from each host about their family histories and connections to Norfolk Island was an added bonus. At the first house where we had entree, the host’s two daughters did a wonderful island dance for us. You really felt like you were close friends being invited over for dinner. I would highly recommend.
